Hey guys, I saw some of you have started playing hay day and saw there's no thread for it. So I figured I would add one here.. I am enjoying it far more because *drumroll* I cannt cheat on it!!!! Lol. It is almost like FarmVille but much better in that I don't need to post on Facebook for help, materials etc.
So if any of you play this game, I do log in using Game Center. My name on there is Chazani. Farm name is Chazani's Farm.

Pity.. Guess ill entertain myself some more on this game.

So true Raven!! So I got the second cargo boat filled and sent off this morning.. The next boat coming in 3.5 hours wants my wheat, indigo, and red berry cakes... Fuunnn. The cherry trees take longer to be ready to harvest than the boat gives me time for... Soo that means ill have to splurge some gems to harvest them quicker. Third boat in, needed 2 cases of 14 indigo each, 2 cases of 2 red berry cakes, and 2 cases of 77 wheat lol. Easy order this time.. Oh. Boat has 12 hours before leaving. So good thing I sped up some cherry trees. Indigo plants take 2 hours to grow. So no problem there..

So far I spent 15 gems for 1 day of slave labour. Kidding!!! Actually the kid is a gofer, he will find items that you want, and will show you 3 different amounts and price, then goes to sleep for 2 hours.. I had a boat cargo demanding a lot of corn bread, takes half hour to make one, and I needed 5 per cargo box.. I put 2 of the cargo boxes up to be filled by others, already got 1 filled by someone, thank that person!! Trying to get enough coins to clear out the mine so I can hope to make something there... Anyone else playing and got higher level that they have horses?? Haha |

Hey Raven, yeah I did, did you know that you can only do so many things before you run out of "Energy" ?? I really find that energy thing really blocks alot of what i can do with the game. Ill check it out. but hayday at least you arent stuck with "use the 20 energy to do whatever, but then you must wait for hours for it to refill up" I had enough of that playing cityville on facebook.. "Oh you cant harvest the rest because you dont have energy to collect it" Errrrr energy used to plant, harvest, collect coins. seriously! LOL Ill try the big farm, but I want ya all to try hay day then > LOL |

Sharazani, the energy issue in Big Farm Theory is better to deal with now that you can visit random players & add people you don't know. I usually gift everyone on my friend's list an extra energy pack every day. I won't get too much into it in this thread, but if you want to try it, add me so I can give you an energy pack & cream to feed the cat.
I've been reading this thread and I might give this a try. I just don't want to start another game where I feel like I need to spend real money to accomplish things. That's the one thing I can say about Gizmonauts, I haven't spent a dime of real money on it. Same with the Simpson's Tapped Out, although I'm really tempted to buy donuts just because I like the game so much.

Thanks Blackpanther for refreshing my tree.
I've several friends on my list that have farms but none of you are playing lol.
Leilani come and play it's one of the few games that keeps you busy but you don't have to spend on it! I love looking for parts to upgrade the barn and silo. You get these every now and then when ploughing crops, making food/goods, visiting other farms, and in the local newspapers lol. You need to log off and back onto your game to refresh the newspaper before looking and parts for upgrading go in seconds lol. Always worth clicking on the tool box in other cams as every now and then they are free ones.
Kelly there is NO way I'm going to get my boat up and running lol. I never get more than 4,000 before I end up spending it on parts to upgrade the barn and silo. Did you spend real money to get the 16,000 needed? What level does the house upgrade again?

Hi Jaye, happy to help out! I never spent money on the game, took me forever to save enough money for the boat! Lol! The house upgrades after completing achievements. Tap on the house to see all the achievements.

Yikes Blackpanther another really expensive oven to make cakes with. I can on,y save for one lol. What shall I go for the boat or the cake oven. I'm at about 11,000. Ah yeah I remember Leilani I found it too slow for me  . |

I've some question about the boat, hoping Blackpanther or Shaz can answer them for me please Do I need to be buy the cake oven before I can fulfil orders for the boat, will I struggle to do the orders without the oven. I've got 15,700 coins so I need to decide on what to spend it on, boat/dock or cake oven? How long does the dock and the 1st ship coming in take to complete? If I 'help' other people to load their boats does it cost me anything. I avoid doing this as I've no idea how it works? |

I am highly addicted to this game! I do load others farmers boats because it is great for XP and they help return the favor when needed. I'm on gamecenter under tczelda if anyone wants to friend me. |
