I have two towns.
Melzzzy's town - for obvious reasons...
Phoenix Rising - because when I first got my 2nd Ipad and backed it up, it didn't upload the old MT2 game from my 1st Ipad. I was totally devastated because I had put so much effort into that town (easier to see etc etc). So, after writing to Booyah they transferred the old MT2 into my new Ipad and I called it Pheonix Rising, before that, I can't remember what the town was called .... hmmmmm

My first town was on the first gen iPad, and I called it Dalaran, from the game of World of Warcraft. It was a city and was one I enjoyed hanging out in on a character I play. Since then I have changed it to Rock on Baby temporarily, as I havent decided on a good name yet. My iPad 3rd generation has my current main town Chazani's Town. The name Chazani is the name of my character in the games I play. Sharazani. Seems like we got the same idea but I'm still sticking to Dalaran ;D |

I like Fleetwood Mac's music and thought Fleetwood would make a good name for a town.

Wish I had a cool story but I love Pink Floyd and just thought Dark Side of the Moon was as good a name as any for my cool little town  |

I was in Seattle Washington when I first discovered MyTown the original app a few years ago. Since Seattle has a nickname: Emerald City, just like in the Wizard of Oz - I chose Emerald City ! I met so many cool players, I figured with MyTown 2, I'd keep the name in hopes of running into old players that might have also played the original....like SOL!

I call my GPS Nimrag (G-A-R-M-I-N backwards) and it just seemed right to drive around my town with Nimrag by my side.

Raven 29067906 Hi Raven, Yes there are a handful of Original MyTown #1 players that I have seen playing MyTown 2 so far. I simply see their name & assume to be the original though. There is no longer an in-game messaging as with the original app. So, SOL is my only confirmed original player so far. I do see 'Bawpotter' here & that's another original name, I just haven't communicated to confirm yet. I'm sure there are plenty of others though. |
