Hey I was just wondering if anyone has tried or played around with this game I came across? It's called Megapolis I searched around for similar MT2 game a while back just to see if there was more fun to be had with a game of similar quality and fun. I found nothing, no game was comparable. Now I just stumbled across this one which looks cool, but until I get time to check it out, I was wondering if anyone else has played or has an opinion about it??

"Interesting, in a search for 2013's best top apps Megapolis is rated at number 1. Sure this means nothing but there opinion, but still this might be a new cool game to break up the idle time a lot of us have who just gift and wait for the new items. They even follow the mayor title for players like MT2 does... Oh and yes of course MT2 will always be number 1 Lol. I'm not sure how new this is, maybe there are not many players who have tried this yet, ill have to just make time. "

I had a few minutes today while I was uploading stuff at school, and it is almost a carbon copy of mt2, but looks more expensive to play (no Kon in Megapolis) and has better graphics. I am surprised it isn't breaching a copyright law or two.

Your right, but I kind of like that because I was hoping it would be like my town 2, with some changes and different options that make fun enough to play. All the other building games I tried in the past sucked! I'm just getting going on this game now and I see you can have neighbors like on my town. I'm trying to figure out how it works still, you seem to able to gift items and or things needed to help build things. If someone gets a ID# of some kind post it. Ha ha your absolutely right though, some RH's would of course make it a lot easier! Oh well hopefully it's entertaining enough to hold my interest, it's already weird I feel like I'm cheating on MT2! Lol

OK look Booyah must have some underlined connection with this game. I just noticed waiting for it to load that in this picture alone, you have the Big Ben wonder, what looks like the notre dame wonder building, the broken up coliseum, and what looks to be like the new double tower building under office skins in that last update. Maybe they have tried to just take whats a awesome game, MT2! Take many of the things that have been suggested over time, added some better graphics and got this. Cause it's clearly connected somehow to MT2, Derekville is right.

Good point Raven, Totally!! So in the settings if you scroll down it shows your id # -3948016 However I have no idea how to input id's because its says you can invite 8 neighbors or guest whatever. So in my attempt to figure it out and press things I now only have 3 guest left and somehow iv invited 5 invisible some thing's or some body's lol so I'm stopping and waiting until I find out exactly how to add and delete people. I finally got my first hour of game time in this morning, so far so good!

I feel that way when I go to another Forum!!!! The guilt! lol Ha ha right!! It's like I automatically don't want to like any game like MT2 cause its just the best and I'm loyal to what I like! This one seems different though and actually seems to be related somehow, I think... But who knows it might suck, we ll see..... You go to other forums!!!!!How could you! Probably have a different name and everything huh!! Lol kidn kidn

So have only spent 5-10 minutes on game after tutorial - I think peeps will like the added dimensions - much more SimCity with the infrastructure but much more realistic graphics. Rivers/highways / 2 lanes!!! Lol / hydro and on and on - land is beautiful and lots of items - retail business buy and sell -
Right now just playing on an iPhone there is just to much on screen - will wait till I get my mini -

I found an ID. Mine is 4159751. I found it under settings. On the main screen in the lower right corner is a settings button. I clicked on that, then went under options. Scroll to the bottom of that screen and you will see an ID number.
Jlammb I tried to add you as a neighbor and had the same experience you did. I got some invisible buddies. So I stopped. If anyone figures out how to add people by ID let me know.

I am surprised it isn't breaching a copyright law or two. What copyrights are you referring to? Many people don't know that you can't copyright an idea. I don't know if this is one of the things you are talking about. I don't know the codes these games are written in, but as with most code on the Internet, they might be using open source code. I would be interested to know what you might be referring to. I've enjoyed studying copyright law. I do play the game some, although I'm about to quit playing because the only way to get ahead is to put out real dollars. Even then, other than hundreds/thousands? of fancy graphics, there really isn't anything there to grab my interest. If I could produce items I needed or sell/give items I produce, that would be a nice step forward. Right now I just try to log in once per day to keep getting the daily bonus that does increase if you don't miss a day logging in. Maybe I'm missing quite a few things about this game, but I don't understand the #1 position at all.

This is actually getting more fun! At first when you start it seems like there is to much going on, but as it keeps guiding you through all the constant tasks, which just keep coming it gets pretty fun. There are so many cool options and different buildings. Dams, bridges, beaches etc. That the building is done with materials is cool, but got to figure out how to get networked with each other to send these gifts. Plus what the hell do we do when we're out of bucks! Lol I don't see any RH's comin anytime soon. Hopefully you can keep playing and not hit a boring brick wall at some point like mogul was saying..
Oh I did ask for some items and got them from my ghost neighbors or however that works. Still have to figure that out.
