The daily reward gives an envelope holding money. - how is this used in the game? Had hopes it was some bucks, but my meager number of bucks didn't change. Kon, glad you decided to play thru the Facebook server! please continue to pass on hints that you discover.

I have a Facebook account started only for games (thanks for the tip) Kon Konstantin But ... when I connected the game through the Facebook ... it didn't transfer all my progress. In fact it gave me a new town to start with! I don't know if I have the power to start all over again! This is another big minus I give to this game! I had an issue when I first started playing. The game hooked into my real Facebook account instead of my game one. I had to log off of my real one (app on my phone) then log into my game Facebook and then link the game that way. I'm not sure what happened but I did end up with a new town at some point. I was just starting so I didn't lose much. I am not the most tech savvy but I only mention this because maybe your other town is hooked into another Facebook account?? Still glad to have you in the game with us Kon ;D ;D. We need your wise input!

Kon, glad you decided to play thru the Facebook server! please continue to pass on hints that you discover. I have seen this too and can't figure out what kind of bucks we get because I don't get any game bucks. And when I get a thank you envelope it also says it has sent me a special surprise. And I can't figure out what that is either. But, the graphics are keeping me hooked. I am playing on my phone, but this must look great on a pad. The firehouse comes with a purple helicopter that flies around. And I bought the balloon launch yesterday, and a big red heart hot air balloon actually blows up and floats over my city. It has the basket, the people in it and the flame from the fire. I couldn't stop watching the thing! Lol. I took a screenshot and as soon as I get a chance I will try and post.

The daily reward gives an envelope holding money. - how is this used in the game? Had hopes it was some bucks, but my meager number of bucks didn't change. That "envelope holding money" gives you ... transactions! Once you build the City Hall in your town - you'll have to hire two friends or the characters in the game! After you do this - having "envelope holding money" that gives you a number of transactions , everything will start to "autocollect" ie. the population from the residential items, the coins from the infrastucture and production items. This can be replenish with megabucks of course! ...maybe your other town is hooked into another Facebook account?? I didn't have another FB account Anyway, with power or no power ;D I started again! Not much to see right now, but slowly it will be And when I get a thank you envelope it also says it has sent me a special surprise. And I can't figure out what that is either. The "surprise" you get is a few XP stars and sometimes a few coins. If you want to help a friend - share everything, every acomplishment. It's true that everytime you reach a level the game offers some awesomes deals - to buy items on one time sale. I stick to my plan of reaching the higher level possible in the game and unlock every item. From there earn coins to buy them and decorate! For me the logic is this: Why should I spend "rare", hard to obtain Megabucks for items that I can buy later for coins. What's the rush? I use the Megabucks to expand! You can earn 1 Megabuck for every level reached and the bonus after 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 ,30 days played will help much.

Kon, Thanks for all the "GREAT" information ! I agree! I am still a little confused about the envelope dollars. Do we need to do anything or does the game just use them on its own in City Hall? And since I am so in awe of the hot air balloons I thought I would post a picture:

McPhilp, I love the hot air balloons! I plan to get those soon. I bought the Firestation just to get a helicopter to fly around my town - love it! If you have the Suburban Condo, check out the guy on his top floor terrace. Looks like he is doing his morning stretches - too cute!
I agree with Kon; I save my mega bucks for expansion.

So if I'm not on fb .. And decided to switch to fb.. I will have to start from scratch? Oh this is bad. What's the benefits of switching it to fb? Can someone tell me pls? Switching to Facebook gives you the ability to add friends of your choosing. So, you could send a friend request to me or Kon or Suzie or anyone else with Facebook, and we can accept and send gifts and visit each others towns. Otherwise the game assigns you random friends. I don't know if you will have to start over. If you have not linked the game to Facebook yet, that may not happen. I had accidentally linked my original town to my real Facebook account, then when I tried to fix that and link to my game Facebook account, I had to start over. I'm not sure this would have happened had I not linked it to the wrong Facebook to start. I was not very far into the game, so I just started over.

So if I'm not on fb .. And decided to switch to fb.. I will have to start from scratch? Oh this is bad. What's the benefits of switching it to fb? Can someone tell me pls? For me, the social part of the game is much easier with Facebook. I filled up my friends list in just a couple of days, but with the other, I have gained only one friend that looks real, but I still can't seem to give and receive gifts as easily. And I cannot hire anyone to work in my storage place, so it is useless to me for now. When I try to hire someone, it tells me they are "busy" and there is only one person that I can ask. I found the game much easier to play after connecting with Facebook. Oh, and I didn't have to start over from scratch. It transferred my other town. But after that, any changes I made to my Facebook town did not show up on the social quantum town, and vise versa. Hope that makes sense!

Catintex, if you are still inviting neighbors, I would like to play with you. It is much more fun to play with forum members than with strangers. My Facebook is Susie Q Tap Zoo - send me a friend request. Wonderland, you can create a new Facebook page just for games. That is what mcphilp and and I have done - think maybe Kon did that too. If you decided to come over to "the other side" friend us all on Facebook. The more forum friends we have the more fun it will be. In all the social aspects I go to mcphilp and Kon first.

Catintex - I, also get that message saying I have maxed out my "buddies"- add more for 5 bucks also, but if you go to "invite neighbors" tab on same page, I have still been able to add people off of Facebook. It will bring up a list of your facebook friends and there is a Megapolis star by those playing, and your most recent friends tend to be at the front of that list. I don't know if there is a limit there also. Try and see if that would work for you.

Susie, when I try to look at your gift list it doesn't show up yet. PM me if there is something high on your want list! Friends, cool! I am slowly learning what all happens in this game. When I go to my gift list it says I don't have anything I can add. Have been trying to build up coins and hope to soon start the beach area, so then I should have some things to add to my list. Have to edit, cause otherwise I almost double posted! Wonderland, where are you? You NEED to come join us all on the "other side"!

Reading your call it's like you're starting a cult or something ! ;D I made the same mistake as Mcphilp I didn't realize it's already link to my original fb account! Oh my gawwd! Much to my dismay! All level 21 have to go! Will add you all. I have all your names with me after I made an account for games. Thanks Susie for inviting me on the... other side!

Another friend!! ;D
You may already have figured this out, but in case you haven't when you start construction on a project (like the beach or the bridge), it will show you what you need. And I have been clicking on the "ask friends" button. These items seem to end up on my wish list. And once I have received all I need, they magically disappear from that list.
Also, if you go under the gift box on the lower left of screen and go to the neighbors wishlist tab, you can scroll through there to see what your friends need. I have found that about once a day some of those items will get an orange "send" button under them, and if you hit that you can send the requested item for free. I think it limits you to one free gift per friend a day. You can also purchase the item using megabucks.

Now I am starting to think I should set up another Facebook account for this. But I rarely use my original Facebook account anymore at all. And I really hate to have to start from scratch. Hmmmmmm, guess I better decide soon!
