I've been playing since a day or two after this thread, and I'm hooked. The game has great graphics, an amazing array of items to purchase, and I'm starting to build an awesome town. As people have pointed out, the downside is the lack of finding specific friends. The fact that the businesses are focal doesn't bother me, that's the one thing that really sets my town apart from any other city game I've ever seen.

I seem to be getting more drawn in to this game day by day as well. I wish that more things used game money. But, my town is growing. I have been able to max out on friends at 12. And I have been receiving gifts daily of the items I need to complete some of the buildings. So far I haven't had to use game bucks to complete those things.

I've had this game for awhile, barely touched it. It looks fun, but I'm hooked on 2 MyTowns, 1 DragonVale, 2 Hay Days, 2 Clash of Clans, and lots more. Trying to restrain. If I hear enough good feedback I might play; there is always more room!!!

Ya I have to confess I even spend money to buy some bucks! I'm glad I came across this I thought like raven I would trash it quick but iv been spending some down time on it and the more you play it's getting better and better! Really all I want is something to entertain me anyway and now I get to decorate and complete tons of tasks which is cool, keeps you going and going. The social part of it sux because it should be easy like MT2 but hopefully that will change! So when I'm done sending all my gifts and seeing if there is a new item to collect, mixed with a few minuets of slot play, there aint nothin to do! For me it's great being able to jump over there and screw around decorating and building infrastructure! It will take I while but I think this game will grow on a lot of you guys, for me it took a while but now I'm getting hooked!

someme of you guys are funny, you know a lot of what all you say is very true and my loyalty will always be with mt2 for sure..... But it's not about if its better than my town 2 or not( course its not lol) just if you are entertained and want another place to go decorate and screw around that's similar to mt2. Since iv been playing only MT2 up till now, this is the only game closest in likeness to that of MT , so it works for me.
Anyway some of you I noticed have started building and getting cool towns built now and since we've all started about the same time, I wanted to ask if you want put up a pic of your towns. Like MT I like seeing what people do and how they decorate! Hopefully in the future the social problem will get worked out on the game, I'm not doing facebook, etc. Ill get a picture of mine, needs lots of work but that's the fun... ha ya the pic will look like ten pounds of sh€% in a five pound bag cause I play on my phone but whatever..

I have this game, but play rarely. It reminds me a lot of cityville on Facebook in that it wants you to beg people for materials. That is a big turnoff for me, and I know I can't get those materials without begging. I still play it small but well. Won't be long before I let it go. Too many other things keep me attracted. This game is quality like virtual city which I played before. I do have the playground one too but that is too much cityville bragging on Facebook. I don't wish to clutter my Facebook wall with requests and brags I'll keep plugging away slowly with this game. Reminds me a lot of the others I tried

Megapolis was not for me.
Had it, tried it, erased it.
MT2 has a better flow. This is my crack.

Your town looks great! I am too embarrassed after seeing yours to post any pictures of mine. I have not organized mine. I just keep finding open space and plopping the new buildings on it. I may take some of your ideas (and organization!)

I will try and share a pic later, though my town is not too impressive. I find the game confusing. I have connected through facebook and the social quantum networks. I have a different town for each one now! What I put in my town via facebook does not show up in the town when I connect through SQ. And vice versa. I find that weird! Now I have like two games going on one device, and that is a LOT of work. It is much easier to get "friends" through the Facebook version. But I find it very hard to earn the bucks, and my quantity is starting to dwindle. The graphics are very cool though! People get to walk on sidewalks instead of in the middle of the street.

Takes time to get things going and then figure out how it will jive together. I just wish I could transfer MT bucks over here, I want to expand and dcorate the hell out of this place!

Hey everyone! Today is day 7 for me on this game! It's not an addiction ,is more of a ... provocation! What can I say? Great graphics, great variety of items , but a big big minus - the social aspect! Of course I have 10 friends plus the three from the game but ... for me it's not enough. To be limited to one gift per friend - no comment Anyway, I used some tricks I've learned in MT2 - the most important is - the Blitzing! ;D Is the trick what helped me the most for leveling up! The Wooden House and Cafeteria gives 1 xp star every 5 minutes! That's why I have many of those in my town. Household Goods Facility has 3 minutes job for 300 coins I think this is my first objectiv - Unlock everything in the game reaching level 61. Then earn some megabucks and expand and then ... earn coins and decorate! ... I have patience! This is how it looks my town right now! Probably I wont play with the same ... "intensity" from now on but I already see my town at level 61 ;D

Kon, I should have known that you would come up with a plan! I may try adding more wooden houses, but I don't really see me putting in the time to blitz! Patience is NOT one of my strong points!
I really appreciate the amazing graphics this game has to offer. But I don't like the way the social part of the game is set up either. And the mega bucks are way too difficult to get, and I am not going to spend my real, hard earned money on this game.
I will keep it a while longer and see how it goes.

I'll say it's better if you add more Cafeterias in your town. The reason - once you reach the population max - the wooden houses produce "population" you can't "collect" until you have a new population max! Plus the cafeteria gives you coins - a small amout though! But a coin is a coin!

I have been spending alittle time playing. Moving very slowly for me. Will have to use a couple of Kon's hints to earn some coins. Like "Catintex" I will not spend real money, so don't know how far I will get. Saving my precious bucks for land. Discovered when I visited " mcphilip" that there were handshakes on her production plants and by tapping on them finished the contracts in process. If anyone playing is playing thru Facebook and would like to be a neighbor, please send a friend request to my game Facebook page: Susie Q Tap Zoo . Then we can connect thru invite neighbors.

I have a Facebook account started only for games (thanks for the tip) Kon Konstantin But ... when I connected the game through the Facebook ... it didn't transfer all my progress. In fact it gave me a new town to start with! I don't know if I have the power to start all over again! This is another big minus I give to this game!
