Did a little searching on the web. I didn't find much, but it looks like the only way to add the friends you want is through facebook. I could be wrong. I didn't see anything about using ID numbers like we use in MT2G. Maybe someone will find more info.

Social networks - what is "Social Quantum"? Network - that is the one I am currently signed on to just because I'm not that keen a Facebook user! Don't have a clue what this means!!!!

It looks like Social Quantum is the maker of the game and maybe that is their network?? I don't like to link my facebook account to games that I play. Edit: I found a support area on their website. I sent a question about neighboring friends without using facebook. I will post if I actually get a response

I'm kinda with you guys on the FB, Im like Raven so not doing that and also like you say why wouldn't Game Center be used?.. Hmm hope it works out! You know I just got to say it never ceases to really amaze me when I see these games, of course always the ones I like, and you see the prices they want for buying things like bucks! So you can buy a that cool looking tree or new building, or really even buy the things you need to continue advancing. I mean it really is f*%^€*g outrageous 100 us dollars gets ya 1500 game bucks so you can play they're game! Ehhhh I know there all like that but Ahhrrr it just pisses me off! ....Sorry for whining

So random friend Edward arrived today - his town is massive and almost an "I spy" hunt for 10 things in his town to tap to help him out - only found 4 lol I don't like that I don't know if this is a real peep or not!!!! Again the town is beautiful and graphics beautiful and sizes all exact - possible if I had found it before mt2g may have chosen it - but dont think I'm going to keep going - at my level in MT2 it's totally the social aspect of game I'm enjoying now - Will wait and see if any response to McP !!!

No word yet. I'm not holding my breathe. Anyway, funny you should mention Edward. He has been visiting me as well and leaving parts for my bridge. I wonder if he is related to Walter? I do love the graphics of this game as well.

Interesting! Which makes me think Edward and Alice are just computer generated friends! Facebook might be the only way to get real ones!?!?!

I also have a guy named Mike who showed up on my neighbor list. I hooked my account up to a separate facebook account (thanks Susie ) and I have two options when I go to the friends area. One is buddies and the other is neighbors. I kept inviting buddies until I maxed out at the 10. I then got a message that I could come back in a specific timeframe and invite more. I am guessing that you might be able to invite 10 every 24 hours. Just a guess. I can't figure out how many buddies I can have. The other tab is to invite neighbors. When I try to do that it tells me that all my friends are already playing Megapolis and I can choose to play as well, and it kicks me back out to the game. I am thinking the neighbor invite may be connected to facebook. And the plot thickens.

You know your right Raven, that's like the best part! The social aspect in a real convenient manner and how it's all networked. I'm not going through FB just to do what MT2 does so easily, and quite efficiently at that... I like the graphics and all the options also, but without the easy connection to the outside world like MT, Im also not sure of the long lasting potential gaming for me. Seems like ill just go and enjoy it for a few, then I leave till the next day and check back. Lol You just got to lov MT2, it is just superior in so many ways to any of its kind it seems!

I was able to pick up a bunch of neighbors by inviting 8 whenever the time opens up to allow more invites. It seems to be about every 12 hours?? I really enjoy the graphics. There are so many details in each design. I am still addicted to MT2G, but enjoy passing time in Megapolis.

I've only been playing a day and a half now, but for me it's too much like MT. And I hate that everytime I complete a task, it asks me to share. I'm assuming that means via Facebook, but I've tried not to share. Maybe there is a setting I can turn off for that. I do like the graphics, and it seems like there is much more land/space available!
I don't really need another game, but I'll probably keep playing this for awhile, just to see.

I downloaded it just to see what it was like. While the graphics on the buildings are good, I'm really not crazy about the presentation of the tasks list, friends list and point boards. There's too much cluttering the screen surrounding the town. Unless I'm missing the option to minimize or hide the tasks lists.

There is a little blue arrow on the top left of the screen. If you tap on it a few times it will clear the junk on the top of the screen. Although the button to purchase coins moves up to the top. But it does clear a little of it. I agree there is to much blocking the screen.

Jlammb wrote! "Interesting, in a search for 2013's best top apps Megapolis is rated at number 1. Sure this means nothing but there opinion, but still this might be a new cool game to break up the idle time a lot of us have who just gift and wait for the new items. They even follow the mayor title for players like MT2 does... Oh and yes of course MT2 will always be number 1 Lol. I'm not sure how new this is, maybe there are not many players who have tried this yet, ill have to just make time. " I've tried the game and I'm not impressed. It's very complicated in my opinion. Although the graphics look great and I'm sure if I took the time, I'd rock at it, but I'm all about MT2G.

The fun can run thin real quick. There is no social interaction and the businesses are not personal. Great graphics, but that only goes so far. And by the way, I hit 30 days (might of been 35 or 40) with no gift showing for the next day. I logged in before 24 hours and I was back at day 1. I didn't care for that too much. I don't see me sticking with this one.

Agreed. On top of all of that, you have to rely on "friends" to obtain objects needed to complete certain task unless you have lots of currency which is hard to get. i.e: to build a water plant it takes two stages, 1) purchase the water plant itself. 2) get the materials to finish building it. Many items are to be developed this way. Time consuming.
