Hahaha! Looks nice, I reckon, but I am with Ams on this. My instructions probably would have been, Step 1: cook, Step 2: eat. Step 3: lay on the couch with the button of your jeans undone because you overdid step 2

Juan a nice simple desert after a spicy meal can be a good vanilla ice cream served with a bit of a liqueur drizzled over it - ive never measured maybe 1/2oz - Ive used peppermint / maple / caramel / if you look there are small bottles of all sorts of different flavored liqueurs simple but elegant! lol And must give credit for this recipe to my ex! He tried it and it became one of our favorites! Men in kitchens work well!!!! lol Oh! dont skimp on almonds 1-2 cups. They are the perfect touch on top and delicious!

Oh I read the title wrong. At first I thought it said Captain Crunch Chicken.
Take captain crunch. Beat it until crumbs.
Take chicken cutlet, dip in egg then the beat up captain crunch. Now you have the breading and fry as usual.
Tada- Captain Crunch Chicken!!

Ams, don't laugh, but there is a "Corn Flakes Chicken" dish that is exactly what you just described. And for those of you who need the additional help around the kitchen (cough, cough) Corn Flakes is not the same as Frosted Flakes. Be sure you use Corn Flakes!

Yes, that is why I laughed when I saw the Captain and thought of Captain Crunch. I think the Corn Flakes works best on Chicken Breast with the bone in. Comes out like KFC extra Crispy. Back to the Tiki bar I go!

Thank you Raven, looks delicious. Now, the dessert part is great but... Can I get rid of the Ice Cream and keep the other ingredient only? I'm cooking with curry on Saturday. Wish me good luck!!! Thank you Raven. I'll make sure I post a picture of my master piece.

@ Shotgun Stina
So now I have a minute or two.
Remember I never measure either but about this for 3 people:
1.5 cups self raising flour 1.5 cups milk 1 cup cornmeal (we also call it polenta (Italian name) here, a quite coarse yellow flour) 2 eggs 1/2 cup of a grated tasty cheese like cheddar but Edam is actually really nice (we use maybe 1/4 cup Parmesan or Romano instead because we are on a diet, but then you need a little more milk) 1/4 cup finely diced frozen corn I scallion (spring onion here) again diced fine Some finely diced red chilli to taste A bit of paprika and a dash of freshly ground pepper A fresh herb. Parsley, oregano or thyme are all good
Soak the corn meal in the milk for 20 mins Mix everything else in Put in a shallow greased baking dish and cook for 30 mins or so until ready at 350 F.
Voila! Good with chilli con carne or chilli beans or anything like that.

Someone at work made this and brought it in. Here is the recipe. Better than SexIngredients: 1 box chocolate cake mix (I used German Chocolate) 1 can of sweetened condensed milk 1 jar of Mrs. Richardson’s butterscotch/caramel ice cream topping Cool Whip Candy – broken into pieces (I used Heath Bars) To make: Bake cake according to directions. When cake comes out of oven, let it cool slightly but not all the way. Poke holes in the cake using a fork. Mix together the sweetened condensed milk and the jar of butterscotch/caramel and pour it over the entire cake. It will take a couple of hours to soak in. When ready to serve, spread cool whip over the top and sprinkle the candy over the top. Enjoy!! West Coast peeps- You can purchase Mrs. Richardson’s ice cream topping at Safeway. As you can see- no one liked it. I was able to get a pic of the remaining pieces.
