I took the plunge and changed locations again today BB and did extra franchises. I've kept it now and levelled it up. I will take part in the next one too but I'm getting squeamish about location changes lol.

The little engine is running out of gas. Since I was in Las Vegas I went shopping and bought the Hard Rock Cafe. (Lots of good looking men in that establishment!!) I had to give up my nail saloon. Don't know what I was thinking. That is what happens when you impulse shop.  I guess I will have to visit another town to get my nails done. Chocofan- If you are listening. The game has Alzheimer's and keeps forgetting where I am. So I use my check-in's to let it know I am still in Las Vegas. There is a shop that keeps coming up called- Snooty Chocolates. I went exploring in some of the towns and didn't have any luck finding it. (Pop only at 904). I wish I could continue looking, but BB is cracking the whip. I just needed a coffee break, so had to share. Pop @ 44,500 |

Just checked in on things ...it's now my highest pop on my stats page at 39,071. On BB's page, the pop is currently listed at 44,479. Holy smokes!! ;D Edit/ps... PreciousVille... If you Find and swing by that Snooty Chocolates that keeps coming up, and pick me up some, I'll pay you back!  I love chocolates. It's the thing missing in my town. |

When you go to social, you can check biz near current location by tapping explore. If location services is off, it finds you in your travel location. Then you can tap friends and buy in coins wherever it found you. With the last update, it seems to forget really quick, so I have been tapping explore every time I tap social and before I do anything else. |

Cost me bucks not dollars but today is the day I am going to have a go at shape shifting! Phew. Need a strong coffee first. Oh how I wish I hadn't deleted NY NY! I was going to refranchise it but it shot up so high I couldn't afford it a second time. You have all done wonders with it. I see it's BBs highest pop business already! Through the roof. By the way I have 5 chocolate businesses now. All low popularity (2 were 0 pop at first!) just now, in varying degrees, but we know how to fix that don't we ;D. If you feel like chocolate, or want some different chocolatey businesses come on by. We work 24/7. ;D |

lol. I franchised this yesterday without knowing about this thread. Just liked the popularity.
I will try to keep franchising several times in the next few days, at least until I run out of coins.

I have no idea what is going on. I keep buying and each time the pop drops?? This is like the stock market. I am going to build a couple and do a couple of check-ins to see if that helps!  |

At 11:59pm, the popularity of New York, New York had reached 44,670. Not too shabby.
We seem to be stalled a bit, so let's pitch in together and try to see how much further we can push. I'll send out messages and see if we can't recruit some more coin-heavy folks to help us.
Thank you SO much, everybody. Incredible what we can do when we put our minds (and fingers) to it.
At this point, pretty much everybody has been compensated for their efforts yesterday and today. There's a small handful left unaccounted for, whom I will get done within the next hour or so.
I'll be back tomorrow morning with an update. For now, a return to the updated list...
1. Quick (Paris) = 89.6k
2. Creperie O'Regal Valengaux (Paris) = 60.5k
3. New York New York Hotel & Casino (Las Vegas) = 44.7k
4. Old Islamic Mandarin Restaurant (San Francisco) = 43.4k
5. Apple Store San Francisco (San Francisco) = 39.7k
We're in 3rd place but the top two competitors are still decently far ahead and Quick has been growing the past 2 days at a rate of 5k a day. We're certainly not out of the woods just yet.
The next phase of the experiment, if we are successful, is to leave New York New York alone for 1 week and see if it can now stand on its own as a top property. Will it drop out of top 5? Stay at #1? Will a bunch of people be compelled to own it or will they lose interest in it? Interesting questions.
Onward we go. Thanks again to all the hard workers who are making this possible.

Wow! It is amazing what you all have accomplished! Just a few short days ago I bought it for a mere 86 bucks and now it is my highest population business. Sorry I'm too chicken to location change. If I lost my town I would cry...and no one wants to see that!  It is so exciting to see the power of our little forum family!!! |

Wow.. Franchised 6:45am at 53035, 7:45am at 52635. It lost 420 in 1 hr?? (I counted the 20 it would have gained immediately when I franchised it).
