How Come it's losing popularity in Barracudas town but in my town it's the same as when i last franchised it? If I'm not mistaken, when you franchise from BB you see the current pop available to YOU for purchase... if he looks at his own stats for nyny his pop will read different from what is available to you or me for franchise. I'm just surprised at how quickly the pop can drop even tho I know there's at least SOME activity and franchising going on... But i think thats the deal, olivia... If I'm wrong someone please correct me  |

I was just there doing a whole bunch of re franchising and it was at 47713. Hope all goes well.

How Come it's losing popularity in Barracudas town but in my town it's the same as when i last franchised it? The reason is that in your town it's going to show the last updated popularity plus any work you've done on it, but when you look at my town (or any town not your own), it's instead going to show the baseline. And it is pretty clear that as you higher, it gets harder to maintain. Up until we reached about 25k, there was almost no decline (or at least it wasn't noticeable). Now...ugh...they don't make it so easy for you. We will just have to keep at it. I may start re-franchising myself tonight if it's particularly slow. I have stuck to mostly burning check-ins (had over 1500 saved up) to avoid the awkwardness of people coming to town to franchise and finding nothing there. |

Just franchised for 53,101.
I have observed a drop off after midnight and wondered if it was booyah updating and recalculating baselines. If the biz gets a new baseline, is my biz pop still the baseline plus all my activity? Which won't be that much if I refranchise and then leave it for the night. Half my biz are basically on autopilot and they seem to be drifting down.

Hey guys, just dropping in.
So we are sitting around 55k and therefore only about 5k away from being the #2 property.
However, Quick has risen to 97k.
It's gonna be a fight. Tonight I'll be actively franchising, so if you don't see NY NY just go to Sherwood Forest (Chilli's town) and franchise there. I will have him report to me a list of all franchisers.

LOL.) Edit: I thought we went to number 2, but Creperie O'Regal is up to 61,100. Ugh! |

Sorry BB but I didn't know you were directing people to my town. I was only keeping NY NY for a little bit and then deleting it. As we all know you cannot franchise a property that you already own. I have already franchised everyone who has franchised NY NY from my town so BB you do not need to gift them anything unless you would like. I actually did not write down the names as I was not aware that you had directed them to my town. I guess I should have known when someone franchised it over 20 times. Now that I know people will be franchising from me I will keep a list of everyone who franchises NY NY and I will pass it along to BB. I will also award anyone franchising NY NY from me one time for their highest property value. So everyone keep franchising and have a safe and happy holiday weekend! Was not expecting anybody to start franchising from you yet. I mostly suggested franchising from you since everybody knows who you are and you're presumably keeping NY NY until the end of this event. I am not going to be franchising myself until much later tonight but I have been giving out periodic franchises all day to the participants. Nearly everybody should have gotten their 5 green buck franchises. To anybody reading this, you can keep franchising from me. Won't be ready to start myself until like midnight EST. Update time. As of 11:59pm EST, here is where we stand in relation to the top 5 most popular properties:
1. Quick (Paris) - 100.0k
2. Creperie O'Regal Valengaux (Paris) - 63.9k
3. New York New York Hotel & Casino (Las Vegas) - 62.2k
4. Old Mandarin Islamic Restaurant (San Francisco) - 44.1k
5. Apple Store San Francisco (San Francisco) - 39.8k
Our competitors have been making some gains, but we are up nearly 20k since yesterday, so bravo team!!! Only 3 more nights but the end goal is definitely in sight. About 35 towns participated today, and the more the merrier.
When we finish this event, regardless of whether we succeed in taking the #1 spot, I'll be giving a shoutout to everybody who played. Thanks again. 3 more nights, crew. Let's make them all count!
Oh yeah, and IF AND ONLY IF you go to my town and don't find New York New York (because I'm off franchising myself), you may go to Sherwood Forest (Booyah ID#29715565) and franchise there instead until I'm back up and running.
