I have Ceasars. Way past it. Stands @ 8600. New York New York is moving much slower tonight, but I still have more to complete.
Just as a side bar, a suggestion I have if we are going to do this for other businesses, maybe we can take the highest business from other states and make it explode. This would help the mayors who don't know about location switching.
Example- Phoenix AZ. The highest property I see is Daily Grind. Stands at about 3515. So all the mayors in AZ would benefit. Then we could do other major cities etc We could take suggestions from the group. Just a thought.

Let's finish our work here and maybe we can turn this into a weekly thing to help out mayors everywhere. I would personally love to tackle Minnesota. The Mall of America would be a great property to help boost up. It's clear we work well as a group. I got 2 franchises up to level 2 with insta build. b/c at least I use it that way and get a bonus level up. Plus 1 that did not complete. Looks like thurs am in DC, NY NY is starting at 13,122, which beats folk look, Disneyland and is closing in on Starbucks on broadway. Where does Caesars stand? Caesar's went down earlier today. They were at about 8.8k. As of this afternoon, we had 41 different towns that had pitched in to assist with our efforts. As of 11:59pm EST on Wednesday night, the popularity of New York, New York reached 13,067. The only property that is more popular in Las Vegas is the Hard Rock Cafe which sits around 15k. Here are the new targets to beat on our quest to bring NY NY Hotel & Casino all the way to the top. I'm just going to list 10 of them to give us some benchmarks to shoot for: Facebook (Palo Alto) = 15.2k Banana Republic (Beverly Hills) = 19.8k French Laundry Restaurant (Yountville) = 23.3k New York Times (NYC) = 23.9k Mixer Bar (Paris) = 26.6k Bonfini Pastabar (Berlin) = 35.1k Johnson Burger (Los Angeles) 35.6k Apple Store San Francisco = 42.2k Creperie O'Regal Valengaux (Paris) = 62.4k Quick (Paris) = 82.1k

Caesar's went down earlier today. They were at about 8.8k. Ceasers was one of my first 'out of town' businesses and I copped it last year. Currently @ 8,117 in my stats view.

Holly COW!!! BB it's 200,585 to buy in coins lol!!! I was chatting to Geordie about doing this for some of the British Businesses yesterday. He said he didn't want to step anyone's toes so we'd wait till this was done. However it looks like you are going to carry on going from city to city which is great. Perhaps we can incorporate some of the other worlds best places, including all the big ones around the world? If Geordie does one for the this side of the pond it would help you rather than hinder I think, but let me know what you think. I'm sure people are happy to play more than one game at a time? Of course it also has to fit in time wise for Geordie. I've just come across a problem... It says I can franchise you for coins but when I try to buy it... says 'you don't have enough bucks to buy amountthis'??

If we do this to other businesses in other locations please give 2 days advanced notice so we all have time to switch locations.

Yeah no problem at all.
It's only had a quick chat about it so far, nothing is in the pipeline but that will certainly be taken into account.
Do you stay in your new location 'Las Vegas' while you are playing this game? I keep going back to my location after I have franchised BBs business. But I am also franchising someone locally in coins and playing the Jazz game too. But thinking about it if I wasn't doing those other things it would make sense to stay in Vegas for a while. Would be nice to work on my tan lol.

Can you go back straight after having franchised BBs business, without it having any impact on the franchise?

It's gone done about 500 in popularity from when I bought it last night, I hope this isn't a trend. Yea I franchised at 3:30 am at 20507, then at 8:20 am at 20026. It's now at 20097. Maybe activity has dropped off a bit? I've got time to work on it now... I'm gonna refranchise and watch over the course of the day. This also raises the question: what if, after a week, if LOTS decide to sell it pretty much at once... I wonder how profound an impact that would have on the pop? Edit.. In just roughly the time it took to type this post, it jumped up 300. Very fluid.

Just re-franchised at 8:50 am PST. Pop: 20,401 cost: 401 ;D Probably the last time I can afford to do it. We are making it too popular for me to afford it! and I'm just not techy enough to location change. I'm lucky I can turn on my iPad. Each franchise I've had so far, though, I've done check-ins and jobs. I will with this one. And I'm going to keep it. I love the idea of doing a different one from different places. ;D maybe you could make deciding which business to do a game? A raffle? Members could enter a business they have and you could somehow randomly pick one to do. Anyway. This is fun. Can't wait to see where it ends up.

Hey guys, I am just now returning all the many franchises everyone left last night. Of course it also has to fit in time wise for Geordie. I've just come across a problem... It says I can franchise you for coins but when I try to buy it... says 'you don't have enough bucks to buy amountthis'?? Geordie has the right idea. Let's hold off on that until we finish our work here. For all of us to be doing two locations will cause each one to suffer due to work it would require to do multiple location shifting each day. I say for now, stay in Vegas and let's see if the power of the people can push a previously unknown property to #1. As it is, we're starting to lag. Sometime around 3am (unfortunately I was up), we were around 20,500 popularity, and nearly 12 hours later we've actually lost some popularity (not very much...I am seeing about 20,300). We had a very high push from 13k to 20k in 3 hours, apparently from the work of a handful of people doing heavy blitzing. At least one member told me they had re-franchised close to 200 times. I think we need to step it up. If those with ample coins could maybe re-franchise New York, New York repeatedly at a rate of around 50 times a day (something that would take approximately 20 minutes), that alone would cause a 1k popularity boost, which is substantial. Not saying anybody HAS to do that, but for those that maybe could...we would move a hell of a lot faster. And a big kudos to those that did 100+ times yesterday...you know who you are and you have my gratitude. Heck, you have ALL of our gratitude. Carry on folks, and I will continue handing out the green bucks. For now, our updated target list remains: Facebook (Palo Alto) = 15.2k Banana Republic (Beverly Hills) = 19.8kFrench Laundry Restaurant (Yountville) = 23.3k New York Times (NYC) = 23.9k Mixer Bar (Paris) = 26.6k Bonfini Pastabar (Berlin) = 35.1k Johnson Burger (Los Angeles) 35.6k Apple Store San Francisco = 42.2k Creperie O'Regal Valengaux (Paris) = 62.4k Quick (Paris) = 82.1k

I would love to play BOSTONJAZZHEADs game too but then I'd be losing bucks that I get from BB. I'm staying in las Vegas until this is done and will keep new York new York when I franchise it for the last time, which will be next Tuesday. My original location is good ole NYC.

Guess what... The same thing has just happened to me too! Sorry BB but I'm feeling a little gun shy about changing locations now so I've just done a few more for you but I'm going to leave it till I can pluck up the courage to try it again lol. I'll do it at least one more time as I would like the business to keep myself. I'm also worried about losing my town I'll do the English ones when we get round to those. Yeah no problem at all. I totally understand. You have to remember that when you delete MT2 and re-install, the best course of action is to collect all coins and gifts and franchises before doing so. Although they are supposed to be saved for you, the game brings you back to the last known auto-save point and some information can be lost. You have to tread with a bit of caution. If you wanna take a break from this game and focus on the other one, so be it. I know there's a lot going on and especially when location switching is involved, it can be cumbersome. Thanks for all the work you've put it and I'm glad you're keeping New York, New York. I received a couple of single franchises from people who probably aren't involved in this game and likely just wanted New York New York because of its new status as a top property (both towns were full of the "best" properties). That's a true testament to all that we've done so far. Btw, since my last post the popularity has rocketed up to 22,518! Sheesh, kudos to the community. Didn't expect such a rapid reaction. You guys keep amazing me. Let's keep it up!
