Holy crap, we're over 10k!!! I'm working hard to send all participants their well-earned green bucks. Just an FYI, I have to cap the amount of buck franchises you can earn at 5 per day maximum, as this has grown far beyond what I envisioned. So any franchises you give beyond 5 in 24 hours will certainly help the cause immensely, but 250 green bucks will be the maximum earnings per day. I think that's pretty fair. Ok, I have to switch locations for this so I am doing all 5 franchises at once, one after the other. Can you please check that you got 5 from me today BB because if you don't then maybe I should only do one, go back home, change my location again for the next etc. MASSIVE change in the cost from about 10 hrs ago when I think it was about 10,000 and now it's 93,000! I'd better franchise and keep this at the end if it's going to overtake all the other top businesses I have lol. You can delete while it's still building, and it will nonetheless be counted as soon as you make the payment and building begins. If you want me to credit you for each franchise, probably give it at least 10 minutes. If you are franchising just for the sake of making NY NY as popular as possible, no wait time is required. Once you delete and re-franchise a second time, you'll see the popularity increase immediately. If you are deleting and re-installing to switch locations, you run the risk of losing franchises as the game chooses the last known save point when you re-install. Okay, the final popularity as of 11:59pm EST for New York, New York was 6,253. OMG. We are officially 2/3 of the way towards beating Caesar's Palace and 2/5 of the way towards moving past Hard Rock Cafe Las Vegas. Watch out Quick! We're coming for you next!!! JayeGirl, yes, I got 5 from you. I also got 5 from Solsville and more than 5 from a few others. Anyone who was owed the maximum payout should have received their green bucks. Gimme about an hour and I'll make sure everyone else gets paid for their contributions. As always, just shoot me a PM if you earned the maximum payout and didn't get it. Truly incredible what teamwork is capable of achieving. I'll be the first to admit, I totally underestimated the support for the project but ya'all really make me smile. At this rate, we'll overtake Hard Rock Cafe Las Vegas by the end of the night. Then maybe I'll post a few high value properties for us to try and beat out by the week's end. If we do manage to beat Quick, wow. 2 days ago I would have scoffed at it, but now it really does seem possible.

I got mine thanks. Great to know that it does work if you franchise one after the other, so much easier to do it that way and there was some question about if it took or not. I'll be back tomorrow... These 11 hr flights to Vegas are killling me Holy crap, we're over 10k!!! I'm working hard to send all participants their well-earned green bucks. It is a lot of fun doing it this way (collective effort) to raise the popularity of a business. I tried the numerous method of franchising once you are in the location. I hope it works. Thanks for making this game interesting and fun.

6133 in Baracuda stats. But over 10k as franchised I still can't figure out what happened on franchise #3 NY NY did not recover and neither did the other 2 biz that crashed.
I had the insta-build boost this am, so was able to franchise and get to 1st level 3 times in the hour before I had to return to the salt mines. Just franchised again, but no instabuild now. Note auto correct changes instabuild to instability. ;D

12016 ;D BB - Don't worry about franchising me back if things are getting a bit hectic! I'm managing to purchase in coins so not losing out. I'm more interested in how high the popularity can get than the bucks

Exalted for allowing us to have so much fun at your expense since I'm pretty sure this is a whole bunch of work for you. But, none the less, bunches of fun for us!!!

I really want to help out with this because I think it's a really neat experiment, but I can't figure out how to change my location to Las Vegas (otherwise it'd be over 1400 bucks). I turned off my location services and wifi. Is there something I'm missing/forgetting? I feel a bit dumb asking this question because I've successfully changed my location before, but now 30 minutes later still can't seem to make it work.

After you shut off locations then you delete the game. It will ask if you want to keep the data. You say YES. Then you redownload & install the game & when you open it you still have all your stuff. Your first attempt to check in after doing this will allow you to reset your location. All this needs to be done with location services OFF. It works. I'm a newb & I did it. Using iPhone 4.

I got 2 franchises up to level 2 with insta build. b/c at least I use it that way and get a bonus level up. Plus 1 that did not complete. Looks like thurs am in DC, NY NY is starting at 13,122, which beats folk look, Disneyland and is closing in on Starbucks on broadway. Where does Caesars stand?
