Hi all, My stats page shows pop at 71,692 currently! Went to check it at BB's page and it's still not showing up (lag?). Just can't believe it!  ;D it's amazing! |

For anyone who is wondering why NY NY is not in my town...I was doing franchising last night and unfortunately fell asleep. Woke up a short time ago and realized I never re-franchised it back a final time. It will be up within the hour. Thanks Chilli for helping out! Got your message with all the franchisers!
Popularity for NY NY is hovering around 71k. I'm gonna do just a bit more franchising and try to push it to somewhere around 72k, then I'll re-franchise and have it back in my town for the rest of the day.
Remember, as much as you can give today would be appreciated!

As per Bridgid's request, I have moved NY NY in my town up to the top right hand corner to make it very easy to find and franchise repeatedly.
It is back in my town at popularity 72,056.
Let the clicking continue.
Creperie is at 72.8k.
Quick is at 122.1k.

Just checked in and checked BBfranchiseNYNY again, and don't see it in your stats. Haven't seen it all day. Got franchises from Sherwood Forest today. Was able to get franchises from you yesterday, tho.
I shut down mt2 and game center, acting weird reloading all the time.

Just a FYI...... No biggie...... For me on my IPOD, IT IS A 12 step process to complete a "franchise, then delete" process, I did 3 trials to see how many times I could do a completed " franchise, deleted transaction. In 1 MINUTE, 1 could only do 2.5 franchise transactions (that's with Chillii moving the casino to the top left hand corner of the town). The loss of valuable comes in where ....... 1- Where you hit the franchise for coins and that takes 4 sec to complete that step. 2-You get to the "social button"' hit that button, going from social to hitting, " Sherwood Forest banner takes 7 seconds because you have to scroll to find "Sherwood Forrest. When I get to "Sherwood Forrest", that is my NEW STARTING POINT SCREEN. I start the ENTIRE FRANCHISE PROCESS on the "Sherwood FORREST" banner. I am located in LAS VEGAS. BUYING with coins. It doesnt mean a hill of beans, but I had fun doing it. I wanted to add my own " math" equation to the board like some of you "brain wizards" out there. ;D ;D  PS. Maka was my assistant PPS. BB, I have done 350 franchises today.......I did no check in jobs....might do some check ins jobs maybe later.....whew.....

Glad everyone is having fun. Please do not worry if you have not gotten all your green bucks yet as it is taking awhile to return them. Rest assured, you will get them.
Last I checked NY NY is at 73.6k and Creperie is at 74.1k...Quick is at 124k and not moving.
Will announce tonight whether we will be extending the game. Obviously the two top properties have been moving forward at record speeds and we are slowing down a bit.
Thanks everyone for your hard work. Feel free to continue if you have the coins / bucks to do so!
EDIT: Will be off franchising in advance of the update. NY NY will be back in my town as of midnight EST.

That's it, Phase I is over. Due to popular demand, there WILL be a Phase II. A few observations first:
1. Over the course of 9 nights, we went from a popularity of just 524 all the way up to 79,120. You all deserve a tremendous round of applause for helping to catapult a previously unknown property all the way up to THE #2 MOST POPULAR PROPERTY IN THE GAME.
2. Quick and Creperie both had big gains over the past few days, but as of this afternoon, they are again losing popularity. Both properties had a gain of less than 2k today. Meanwhile, we had a gain of over 9k. QUICK IS BEATABLE!!!
Now, several people have messaged me asking if we continue this event beyond this week. I will give it exactly one more week, and end these efforts as of 11:59pm EST on June 5, 2012.
There will be a few changes, and a new thread cataloguing our ongoing efforts. Regardless of what happens, there will be no further events regarding NY NY after this week.
1. RULES CHANGES:
A) From now on, each day, all participants will get 2 franchises per day regardless of how many times they franchise and re-franchise NY NY, as long as they franchise at least twice. The next phase of the experiment will therefore test whether decreased incentives for participants significantly affect the rising popularity of the property.
B) ALL participants in Phase will get +5 bonus franchises if we manage to beat Quick by the end of the week, to be awarded at the end of that week.
C) Anybody who joined Phase I and wishes to drop out of Phase II may do so. All previously owed prizes will still be awarded, however, the bonus for keeping NY NY and raising it up to Level 5 will be postponed until the end of Phase II.
2. OWED PRIZES:
The following is a list of every town that participated in Phase I, and how many franchises they are still owed. As I give these out, I'll be updating the list. If the number next to your town is labeled "0," you have received all you are owed on my list. If your own records indicate differently, send me a PM.
PLEASE NOTE: You are owed 5 bonus franchises if you franchised NY NY each and every day from Tuesday, 05/22/12 at 11:59pm EST all the way to Tuesday, 05/29/12. There will be separate list made for those players, which will be posted IN THIS THREAD. These numbers ARE NOT INCLUDED on the following list:
