that is written on the facebook my town page..... For those players who lost their towns on Sunday, we are working on a solution for you. We will not be able to restore your towns, but we will be providing you with ample Coins/Bucks to rebuild it as compensation. Please give us sometime to complete this, and if you have not yet sent in your Booyah/User ID and your town's level, please follow up the email you sent us with that information. Do NOT send a new email, just reply to the one you already sent. still suffering for my lost 1.4 million city gordito How horrible. Let's summarize. 1. We released a bug-filled half-ass update that apparently caused the deletion of the towns of several players. 2. We can't restore your town as we apparently keep no back-ups of your towns on our servers. 3. We will give you coins and bucks to rebuild. However, we will not be giving you any access to previously acquired special limited items from events. 4. Have a nice day and keep playing. Anybody else really not liking Booyah right now? You know in cases like this, I have always been a type of person who likes to talk face to face. Shoot from the hip and see the look in their eyes". This is one of thoses times I'd like to sit down with Booyah and see their faces and not have to email them........get some answers....GET ER DONE!!!!!!!  ;D  |

Hey Everyone, My town is called MOON City. I just started playing. How long has this game been out for? Someone told me it was the "new" game. I have a few Questions. I only have 30 bucks but i have not spent a buck yet so... What is the first thing I should save my bucks for? Im tempted to buy a nice apartment or something but i have a feeling ill be pissed when i want to start saving for something else Moon City... Hidido!!! Welcome to the forums. ingenuousca: It's been a tough couple of weeks, with a number of folks having lost their towns.  I 've lost some things before but I cannot completely know how horrible it feels to lose an entire town. But like member sharazani just wrote, a lot of members will want to help you build a newer, possibly better town. Maybe other members who needed help can attest to this fact? Hay, I don't know but at 3 am I am showing that you have a level at 20 and you are still on the map....I dont know man. Like John Wayne once said," pick yourself up man by your boot straps". We as Mayors are here to help........That is our job and will will pitch in help. Just keep reminding us and the new ones that come in here. As far as good PR (NMHP) Booyah should have us ALL in there servers as a visual record of our towns so when someone joes get whped out, they can/should help compensate something to help get the mayor/town up and running. Just like in real life..... Maybe I put on the next wish list to put in the community building area that Booyah needs to add a building like......say..... ? FEMA, RED CROSS.....They call the game my town 2. ok.... storms happen in real life just like the tornado that ripped up Harrisburg, Ill 3 days ago just 30 miles from me. So mayors have lost some/whole towns. Put some Federal/state agencys buildings in the menu bar in the community section......only makes sense I think......funny how a tornado makes on think even if it is only a game on a screen...... |

It is 3 am and there is a screen that says we are awarded 5 bucks, and something else this weekend.......I was so excited, I clicked on the bucks and forgot the rest of it........

hello i just registered. i wanted to let you guys know that i finally gave in and spent real $ on green bucks since they advertised 1.5x bonuses on green bucks this weekend and i've never managed to accumulate more than 40 bucks at a time. however when i spent $9.99 for 150 bucks it only gave me 100 bucks and didn't register the extra 1.5x bonus. i emailed booyah so we'll see what happens but i just wanted to give you guys a heads up on this issue.

It's still groundhogs day for me. Already this morning received the 5"free" buck and lost them just to get them again when I went back into the game. Holy Smokes!!!  1. Thanks for the negative Karma points. Need more. Please smite me, if you get a chance. Candyland, if you're reading, is there any way you can gift me -50 Karma?? LOL 2. This morning is awesome. I log in and 2x coins. Then I log out and back in, and 5 bucks. Then I look at my town, and I have 5 franchises from new people!!!! WOOOHHOOOO!!! Must be my bad Karma. Statue of Liberty, here I come!! 3. My guess is that the 2X coins, for 2 days, means a wonder is coming up with 2X coins (i.e. Mothership, or whatever). That would be AMAZING for most of us, even though it will probably be ridiculously expensive. We will be able to get rid of half of our stock exchanges and free up tons of land. Or, we can stack the new wonder, and change our businesses back to their intended category / skins!! 4. Pamiam - I am SO happy you didn't lose your town!!! You rock. Can you explain how you backup your iPhone? I guess you just plug it in to iTunes, and there's some kind of backup now (or is it a sync now)? Then to get it back, do you "restore from backup"? Does it affect anything else on the phone when you restore from backup? Did logging into game center do anything? 5. Playing this game at these levels is getting a little dangerous. I wish that Booyah stored our towns on their servers every once in a while, or gave us an option to create restore points on our own computers. 6. Another idea for Booyah is to have a wonder that temporarily allows us to change locations (like once a week), without having to risk it all. Ok. Back to tapping Hope you guys are posting today. |

OK, it keeps saying that it can't connect to the server and I keep losing towns, so I will lay off franchising until this is more stable. I feel bad when people gift me and I lose their town and don't know who to franchise back. My town is in a real mess and I really hate it at the moment, so I will spend some time to redecorate and rearrange. I will franchise again when I see that it is stable, and sorry again to those whose towns I lost. |

For all of you that know the servers were down this morning, I was able to change locations for the 3rd time. I keep my gps location turned off all the time and dont know if that had anything to do with it. Also, if you turn off MyTown 2 in the background, when you launch the app again, it will give you 5 more dollars. I have done this 5 times already. A big thanks to all who have helped me and if I have helped you any, please click exalt on the sidebar please. Much luck to everyone. Thanks, Scott

I dont know if anyone else found their town a little jumbled this morning, but some of my houses are on top of my wonders freeing up quite a bit of space. not sure if booyah will fix this or not but im filling up the extra room asap and i dont know where they would put the items.
