I guess they're implementing the event by date, since that's how it was advertised. I live at GMT+13 - I noticed the Mayor Appreciation stuff being rolled out around 10am on my Saturday morning.
I got the St Patrick's Day splash page around the same time as Solsville though, and I'm on the same version of the game as in that image.
Someone who doesn't mind taking a risk should change their device's timezone and see if that activates the event...

MachoAlpha 34050422 and Worldrallyblue 28970569 I already had MachoAlpha's town. I added Worldrallyblue While trying to visit Worldrallyblue's town, I was kicked out and when I restarted and looked, W's town vanished from my Friends' menu. I re-aded and tried to visit and again was kicked out. I went back in and W's town is gone from my list. The Friends' menu has been very unstable for me. It is almost a 40% chance I will be kicked out anyway, but with the Wonderlands, it seems more definite that will happen. I think I'll not visit either one.  |

Tried on a little second gen iPod. Set the date for two morrow. Got a green buck for logging in. But nothing else.. I think it all releases on booyah's time and day when they are ready to release it.. Set the date back to the proper Friday to see what happens. I bet it won't get the daily bucks for logging on tomorrow... Will see Sharazani |

Barracuda, I love the directory. What a great idea. I noticed there was no cAndyland. Is he a figment of my imagination? Also loved the most annoying townspeople. Thanks for your hard work. FYI, cAndyland is in the directory. He posts only occasionally under the user name "Open." We've seen him at Mac Rumors, and he's here as well. He is mainly a lurker, but he's always keeps tabs on the forum and his ability to return gifts with franchising is impeccable. Feel free to look him up, message him, gift him. He's friendly...just quiet. Thank you for the praise! Be on the lookout, I'll be adding more topics soon including some tips / tricks. Hi Licat, I just added worldrally to my list, both towns are there and I can access each without problem.. I agreeconecor both should have a initial name besides wonderland so we don't get confused.. BREAKING NEWS BREAKING NEWS
After the horrible update eruption of mount fuji with following 100 meter high virtual tsunami who killed almost 1.4 million people of the lovely town "tuwagareal" in switzerland, Â the major Gordito announced today, that the town will be rebuilt even bigger and better than before it was deleted from the i pad memory, and the servers of booyah. He will never forget what happened, but he wants to go on.... with a new town name.... choosen by democratic voting of the survivors of this virtual disaster.
the result..... Â 51% San Gordito, 45% new candyland city, 2% new barracuda bay, 2% pekman town.
The major Gordito is asking now for international help. Every donation for the destroyed and poor city of San Gordito is highly welcome.
The major thought about not to rebuild the town anymore and wanted to ask booyah instead for some cows and sheeps.....there is a lot grass now where the city was.....

And then I was pleasantly surprised to receive 18bucks from your franchise. I guess you're way buck richer than I am, coz I know I cant afford to franchise in bucks yet.

Has anyone else had trouble checking in the past couple of days? Whenever I go to check in, it tells me "Sorry! We couldn't find any locations around you. Please check your connection and hit refresh". I've checked my connection (everything is fine), double-checked the location services was still on, hit refresh multiple times, shut the game off and back on, nothing is making the msg go away. It's not a big deal since I check in to only businesses I own anyway, but that little warning pops up everytime and it's annoying.  Booyah's servers were down/having problems. They're fixed now. |

Hello Everyone,
I posted a few pages back, about my town being wiped out. I contacted Booyah, and within 24 hours, they got back to me! They apologized for the issue, and compensated me with coins and bill. I'm so impressed by how professional and speedy their response has been. Although it is still super annoying to have to rebuild my population and levels (i was at 2MM population, level 50), I now have the ability to build another new town. And I'm grateful for not having to start from ground zero.
Anyway, if any of you experienced the same thing, contacting Booyah might be a good solution.

I was able to get my town back but for 2 days everyone that visited my town seen an empty space. After St Patrick day version change i am back to normal. My Town blanks out and sends me back to my iPod's home screen. As a result, every time I collect revenue, gifts and franchises (thank you), or start new jobs, I exit and if I can, also save on iTunes. When I go out of the house, I don't check the game anymore because I don't want to chance losing anything. By holding the iPod's Home button, that shows all the apps running in the background. Should the MT2 game be closed there too? Anyone else experiencing the same? Or something else? How are you preventing losses? Hey Licat, I'm playing on an iPhone, so I'm always connected to the "internet". I also play on a WiFi iPad, but I never play when I'm not connected to the internet. I think the safest way is to always have an internet connection while you play. Bridgid said she lost progress when she was playing outside of WiFi connection. If you close the app in the multi-tasking area (home button twice - hold finger on MT2 app - hit "minus sign") that should close the app and save your progress on the device and server. Hope this helps. CORRECTION..... Hidido!!! I would like to reconfirm some information. When I am out and about, away from my internet connection, I make sure that I DO NOT CLICK OUT OF MY GAME OR CKICK ONTO ANOTHER APP !!!!! JUst as sure as you do this you will not be able to play the game. You still collect all your coins, etc. I DO NOT click onthe "check-in" button. Now that will sometimes throw you out of the game. *********CAUTION******** If you want to keep your game intact with internect connection when you leave your we-fi- source, .....DO NOT.....let any kids, spouces or significant others touch your gaming device and change my town 2 app or you will LOOSE THE CONNECTION AND THE THERE YOU ARE STUCK FOR HOW EVER LONG TILL OU GET BACK TO YOUR WI-FI CONNECTION. Stupid me.....today going across the Ohio River to Paducah, Ky, i just out of habit clicked out and wanted to check the weather because we had tornado warnings out again today for us and around Harrisburg, Il.. I tried to check the weather on my IPOD and lost MY TOWN was stuck for 3 hours with out being able to play the game. I have my IPOD everywhere I go. I WARN the kids ******DONT TOUCH OR YOU DONT EAT FOR A WEEK.... lol lol .....just kidding and not really... Yes, I am kidding.....they even know not to ask me anymore for the IPOD when we are on the road. I am so LOVING this game. I tell everyone about it. I only wish I could find someone aronf in my town/area that was playing it so we could help each other out. Still working on the computer so I can get that IPAD up and going so I can get the hubby up and going on this game, too.Later. Lots of pages to catch up on reading. |

So how can I wake up every 2 hours. Setting an alarm clock is out of the question--DH will murder me. He is NOT a gamer in any way. bigbridge59: I'm going to have to try out your suggestion. I can't seem to keep playing. Besides, my iPod keeps blanking out which may or may not mean losing anything. My device has a mind of its own. G'night All! |
