Me too- lots of posts on FB (not a user so I glanced at recent posts) about this as well. This is bunk- hope MTA wasn't a precursor for a MT2 fail.

My iPhone 4S version was not loading yesterday for awhile. After it ran through startup scripts it would crash out, over and over. A few hours later it worked fine. Been fine since. The one I have on my iPad, which is a 1st gen iPad crashes all the time during the game.

Mine was crashing yesterday too. I couldn't post in many places here on the forum though so I thought maybe it had to do with my connection. But, today it's fine. Computer glitches!

There were a lot of crashes on Friday. Most people posted on the general thread and on FB about it. Kittyville recommended doing a hard close of the app and sure enough that worked for me and Kech (who were both experiencing the crash)!

Mine has crashed a few times since I DL'd Getaways...mostly cause I was probably grinding its gears kinda hard. c.c...skipping back and forth between towns quickly and repeatedly, and unloading a bunch of things while in a single edit session, are two instances I recall. I just restarted the game. It took me back a few steps when it crashed during the edit session, but saved some of it, even though I hadn't hit the green checkmark yet.

It also froze on the Loading Town screen today while I was franchising. 9.9;...I'm not sure why loading other towns is suddenly such a burden. I assume it's something to do with everyone having Getaways attached now, but we can't even visit them, so...? Whither the lag? Bah.

Only other oddity I have noticed is sometimes my store whites out when I'm scrolling through my community buildings. If I keep scrolling, the pics reappear. Mystery...

Hmmm I don't push my game as hard except when franchising!
Pre getaways my game was crashing a lot - like 4 times in one session -
Since I downloaded getaways with the second little update - I haven't crashed a single time! I'm happy!

If the game crashes before you place a franchise is it okay to try that same business again when the game reopens or is better to pick another business to franchise?
