I can't post a pic this morning without it going back to the box after I post. No more crashes though and at least I can get on now and post messages without pic. We're getting snow so maybe it's causing some interference....although its beautiful.  |

>.< I changed my location and I lost bucks!! Why did this happen? You have to wait until the server updates to save your changes. The server updates at all different times, so to be safe, you should wait around 4 hrs, however there have been times when it took all day to update. |

still cannot play! it crashes within seconds of loading. Been over a month. Playing dragonvale now instead.

So how long do you think I should wait for the ipad mini to go down inprice or should I just go for it? I don't think I can take the ipod crashing much longer. I'm updated on the software and the game. It is getting worse as towns get fuller. I now have towns that I get open but then I can't move in once I get in. Then it crashes. It sometimes takes 6 visits to do 1 or 2 franchise. Others I still can't keep open long enough to offer a franchise.

Sardi, I have no idea if the iPad mini is going to go up or down, but I would just say "Go for it now!" I know you deserve it!  . I love playing the game on my IPad. And I rarely have any problems, like crashing etc. |

I can't go a single day without crashing. And I'm playing in 5 or 6 hour stretches and the game is crashing as much as every 1/2 an hour.

Sardi - I just sent Kon an email about this (and other things). I have an empty town now and have not had one single crash all day. Before emptying my town, I was having a crash every time I went to delete businesses, sometimes two or three times before I could delete them! My solution - empty town = no crashes.
Since that isn't viable for everyone, I would highly recommend an iPad or mini. Apple devices rarely go on sale, though. I think it was Black Friday (right Ams?) when they had a sale that was about an 8% discount. We got the kids' iPads when Target had them with a $50 gift card upon purchase. Those are the deals you'll want to look for.
The iPad2 16 gig is ~$399
The iPad mini 16 gig is ~$329
I know anyone going for an upgrade from an iPod/iPhone would be happy with either, but it is so worth the extra bucks to get the iPad.
Just my two sense.

That would drive me crazy Sardi - I'm on an iPhone and my game rarely crashes - I've never seen good sales on apple products in Canada! - I know Sni is so enjoying her iPad! but after my iPhone the mini will seem huge! I'm just to lazy right now to research it! Sni! Did you finally get a new town?? |

Just a thought - playing for 5 or 6 hours at a time is a long time, and would cross a couple of sever updates. Maybe that's it. I wonder if its something to do with a second server update not 'taking', because it hasn't been switched off since the first server update? I just think maybe it isn't designed to cope with stints that long?
(This is based on an issue we had with a new programme at work which we ended up having to switch off every four hours until they adjusted the server update times - I see a common thread).

My 30719277 town is lost in cyberspace - I have a new ID # and still can't install a new game on my iPad (it keeps loading my iPhone town). I must be the only person playing this game who has been unsuccessful at deleting it. |
