If the game crashes before you place a franchise is it okay to try that same business again when the game reopens or is better to pick another business to franchise? Hi Sardi - sorry to hear you're still having trouble with the game crashing. If you hit the green check but the business isn't in your town when you reload, then it probably didn't go through. Hope this helps. |

Hope this helps. Thank Snibull, I'm not even getting to the checkmark stage. A lot of the towns I'm visiting don't have a lot of businesses to choose from that will give them the max number of bucks. I'm about to try a hard boot but if it keeps going I might have to try reinstall. I have 50 gifts sitting in my inbox from today alone that I still need to get through. |

Yes. The most recent ones since the last server back-up. I will have to write them all down first to be on the safe side.

Since today is the one year anniversary of MyTown 2 (congrats!), I was given a gift of some Chinese festival, Irish festival, and one other I can't remember. I don't remember if I selected one of the three or not, I think I did, but around that time my battery died! (I know, it was dumb to even do anything on low battery, but I totally forgot.) Next time when I log, I couldn't find the gift anywhere (storage, etc), and they never offered the gift for me again. Anyone know any tips, advice, or tricks, or am I s.o.l.?

 just email booyah support and tell them the above - it may take a wee bit of time but I really think they will give you what you choose! When you email they always want to know your ID and what device your playing on - mt2support@booyah.com Oh and make sure you tell them what you wanted! The third choice was the beergarten |

Oh damn. My other crashing problem resolved itself and now I have new one. It used to be when I crashed in the middle of giving a gift the only way I could get back that to that town (if they weren't already on my friends list) to complete the gift sending with a gift or a franchise was to reinstall. Or had to write the town id down before attempting to gift or franchise.
Now when I'm crashing my gift list is reverting to the last back-up so towns I've already visited tonight are back in the list as new gifts. It has already done it 2 or 3 times tonight so even though I've been steadily working on it for the last 3 hours my list is growing not shrinking. New gifts are still coming as well.
So I guess I have manually keep track of who I've already visited or visit them again and try to remember which businesses I hit while visiting the first time.

I upgraded to IOS 6.0.1 today. My iPad crashed and was stuck in recovery mode. All my games may be wiped clean, mt2, Dragonvale and Tribez. Months of progress may be lost.
I have e-mailed the games support team. Will see what happens.
Apples new iOS is scary, beware before you update.

Huh..........I haven't done an MT2 update since the 1st gateway update. It started to crash and I just did the apple update and haven't had any crashes since.
If you have GC- you maybe able to recover your games from there.

crash crash crash! after the last update 99% of the time the game will not load if it does finally load it crashes after a few secs. I have deleted and reinstalled and still the same.

Having trouble getting on the forum site tonight. I usually use the url mytown2.net in modzilla but both internet explorer and modzilla have given me connection errors for the last 1/2 an hour. Could only get in by using the full mytown2.proboards.com url. |

Access to the forum by the mytown2.net url is back this morning. But that's at least 3 of us on 3 different continents who were having trouble. No wonder restarting my computer and changing browsers didn't help  . It was down from at least 10:30pm EST until after 3am EST. Not sure exactly what time it came back but it was back by 4:20am EST. |

Hello friends; about 3 weeks ago I sadly lost my game. Booyah said it probably was a corrupted data save what wiped it out. Thanks to RHs, I've started to rebuild my new town but here is something intriguing:
I tried to purchase "Lucky Strike Lanes" in Las Vegas and it shows that I own that business.
I did own it on the beach part of it, same with "Who says elephants can't fly".
What a surprise it was when this morning I reached level 11 that the beach and lake parts where still there.
So, the error only cleared out the main town not the "Getaways". I wish it had been the same with my bucks and coins.
