On a happy note:During "double buck" weekend I made my first purchase and didn't recieve Any bucks, not only did I not receive double, I received a big fat 0! I sent a message then and was given my double bucks, plus an additional 100% for the trouble. My point is, I believe Booyah is a pretty ethical company from my meger experience and I'm hopeful your towns will be restored and possibly even given some token of kindness for the head ache. Yeah Booyah is ethical. I complained about accidentally tapping upgrade and wasting 140 and they apologized and it back to me.

Thanks for the kind words Sharazani. My hopes are still up and I can continue to at least get my MyTown "fix" for two minutes at a time for now. Although its going to be a long road back...... Just to mention, i have a twin brother that just got a brand new iPod Touch and he has NOT received the friend question or the error message yet (I hope I don't curse him).

I am so upset about it, i am level 50, with 2 million coins and 45bucks, 46lands with unlimited building and stuffs built..... Now is 0, no coins, no lands, nothing and I only play this game with my I-pad only. What can I do?

Thanks for your advice, I tried it and it works.................. however, yesterday I lost my town completely! Dun you think anyone can help me this time? I am so upset about it, i am level 50, with 2 million coins and 45bucks, 46lands with unlimited building and stuffs built..... i been playing this game since months ago, day and night non-stop.....does someone understand my feeling right now....

Are there any negatives to leaving the game app closed for a long time? Do the timers still work? I been playing this game since January and already reached Level 50 weeks ago. But I am still working hard to earn and save money for buying more lands and new stuff. However, I am facing a serious problem while playing this game, my coins is increasing time by time but after a while the game is logged out automatically. Once i log in again, my record is back to certain time ago, which means i been wasting my time and effort of what i done. It happens to me few times in a day, the wrost i have lost over 200K coins and Bucks! I am frustrated to playing it now but I still love this game. Does anyone has this kind of experience?Can anyone help/ advice me? Happened to me too...just close My Town every time after using it, dont just close your window, then it wont happen again... ...even if its long to reopen it again, its much better than to lose precious bucks...

DH's Town is now overrun with "errands" that won't go away!!! Click, get coins, click again, get more coins, errands floating all over town!! lol What next ;D Awe, game over, interrupted by the dreaded "Appears on another device....." Still, he leveled up 2 levels today.

Write an email to Booyah and get your bucks and coins back. I've done it before and they gave back my bucks that I lost. I recommend to everyone who lost their stuff to write them.

When did u last back up your whole device? I lost my building etc this morning and im still restoring from my backup. But it seems at first glance I'm able to get my town back to same as yesterday's. Not sure if it'd work for everyone. But I tried since i have nothing to lose anyway anymore...except time I guess. Hang in there. Let us know if u need any help rebuilding. Also make sure to email booyah about your town. I heard they usually would compensate in coins and bucks and others.

Sorry for people who lost their cities... but it's not the subject here. We have exactly the same problem about "your account is already used by someone, click ok to continue".... So what is the solution ? Hacking ? If someone has the answer, please tell us. My girlfriend and I cannot play more than 2 minutes without to be. Disconnected by this f.... message

The game seems to be more stable so far this morning and I have not received the error message about already playing on another device.
For those of you who lost your towns, this is how I recovered. I am on an iPhone 4s.
I deleted the game from my phone and chose to keep the data, that part is VERY important.
I then went to iTunes and chose to Restore my phone to the original state it was in when I first bought it. This will also install the latest OS 5.1. Once the restore completed I then did a restore from the computer and this restored a backup that was too old and did not have all the wonders and bucks that I had accumulated. I then followed the above procedures again and was able to get my town back to the way it was on Saturday. This time it did recover my contact list but when I started franchising people and the game rebooted I lost the list again. I restored one more time and the same thing happened again to my list. At that point I was happy to have my town back and I just started adding people back to my list manually.
That is what I did to recovery my town. I hope that you will all have luck in recovering and I will do all I can to assist you once you are up and running again.
Everyone take care and try not to become too discouraged.

I received tons of this error message before i lost my town. of course i mail to Booyah immediately but upon today I do not received any feedback from them... I tried the method as Chillitown told but not sucessed. I think all i can do is wait.........................

Looks to me they just copy and paste it to everyone. I wrote them back saying I'm seriously disappointed as I lost bucks, progress, time, and about 50 photos on my phone when trying to restore from backup to get my town back. After restoring for the fourth time yesterday, I have to give up getting my photo back as I really need my phone to be working. Anyway, I hope they would really read our emails instead of just assuming we all hv the exact same problem and results.

I don't even received this msg from Booyah, what does it means? It is now 4 days after I lost my town, no repsonse from Booyah at all, I feeling so tired to started all over again from "0". At least they have to compensate me some lands/coins/bucks.....
