Wow Sounds like Booyah is getting messed up.. Possibly the server is getting crapped out... Im going to stay off my town game for the rest of the night to protect just in case theres something bad on booyah end.

Well, whatever you do, don't delete and reinstall the game. Lost my entire city. Still have the same money I had, and all the forest is cleared, but no city. UGH!!!

No response to my email yet. Not sure if it's because it's the weekend. This is incredibly annoying. It did happen to me too after it asked if I wanted to tell a friend.
Has this happened to only iPad users? No iPhone users have had this problem?!

Terrania, wanted to answer you first. I can say with 100% certainty that these problems were NOT caused by you posting your ID in the forums. There are non-members complaining about it too. This is totally another Booyah glitch issue. Has everybody who has had this happen clicked on the "share the game with friends" question? So weird, on my account the question never even came up. Turkishville, if you delete your game and reinstall, you have to click on the "keep game center data" query. If you say no, your whole town goes up in smoke. I know the way they phrase the question, it sounds like all that will happen if you say no is a loss of your status on the gameboards, but that's not it. "Keep" is the only thing that keeps your data intact. I am sorry to hear your lost your town but if it says specifically that you will lose all game data, you have to realize it's bad news to go forward. Now you know. Deleting in and of itself is fine and safe, but choosing not to "keep" is fatal to your game. Sorry again to hear about all these issues, guys. Hang in there. |

I have that pop up about sharing the game with friends and u tapped no. Then the error keeps showing afterward and logged me out every few minutes...! |

Hi Barracuda Bay, I had actually heard about people losing their city, so I made sure to answer the question regarding keeping your town information as a NO (i think it asks if you want to delete the town data so I said NO, so it would keep the town data), which is the second question it asks you. I probably didn't word that correctly, but just know that I answered to keep my town data. Just unlucky I guess. I am going to delete and reinstall again, just to see if it deletes my two stores that I have bought so far. Oh and just in case you are wondering, I am still getting the same error message, so deleting and reinstalling had no effect. Also forgot to mention that I am using an Ipod Touch, second generation I believe. |

Yep that's right Ashley, that's exactly what happened to me. All forest was cleared and my level and coins were still there, but no town. All my Vegas casinos are gone and my peasants were surely not rejoicing. LOL. How are they going to waste their money on a daily basis now? HAHAHAHA!

I wonder if this has anything to do with the new iOS 5.1 update? I have the iPhone 4S and very hesitant to update at this moment, fearing I would lose my town. Oh, I hear the update drains ur battery like crazy so be warned  |

Hey Im sorry to hear you guys are all losing your town... I dunno why, but Im not getting hit with that bug on any 5 of my devices at all... So far... For those of you wondering. I know booyah will not be checking their mails til tomorrow at 10am PST. They do not work on weekends nor do they check their emails on the weekend. Just a heads up that you will have to wait til tomorrow morning for any response. I know this due to a last weekend buck bug where people were not recieving their 50% bonus bucks, they had to wait near 5 days for the response to kick in. For those of you who lost your towns. Please do NOT give up. We as a community WILL support and help you regain what you lost, and you will know you can improve your town better than ever. Hang in there, keep your faith in your friends. Glad that you got an email on the way, need patience! I didn't get the bug on my game and I play on iphone 4s with latest update, fyi. I also didn't get the question to 'share with friends', either. DH is about ready to toss the whole thing!! Thought about sending Booyah and email myself, if it would help at all.

I just got the share with friends question. I didn't answer it, I pressed home instead, and am now too scared to reopen the game. That's on my iPhone. I'm reluctant to have a look at my iPad town now just in case.

Happening to me also. I play on an I-phone 3G. It seems that if I do everything like collecting coins or moving things around VERY slowly, I can play for more than 2 minutes at a time. I didn't attempt to delete and re-load so at least I still have my little town.
I truly feel for those of you who lost your hard earned items. I have also sent a message to Booyah. They hopefully will fix this tomorrow since they don't answer e-mails during the weekend.
On a happy note:During "double buck" weekend I made my first purchase and didn't recieve Any bucks, not only did I not receive double, I received a big fat 0! I sent a message then and was given my double bucks, plus an additional 100% for the trouble. My point is, I believe Booyah is a pretty ethical company from my meger experience and I'm hopeful your towns will be restored and possibly even given some token of kindness for the head ache.
