I was curious to know how we all found each other Voted 2 I just happened to read a message where someone has said he'd been told off for mentioning this site on the Mac site and sent a PM asking about it and he sent me here. I found the Mac forum doing a google search looking for tips and insight into the game. |

I randomly googled "mytown 2 forum", or some variation of that.
I belong to message boards relating to 3 different car models I own, as well as a local racing forum and even a collector toy forum. There's such a wealth of knowledge and first hand experiences available these days on Internet forums that whenever I get a new car, or a new hobby, or a new game, I seek out dedicated discussion forums!

I was an original Mac Rumors member who was one of the regular posters.

I totally agree. The internet is such a powerful tool in this day and age. It baffles me that so many people arent using it to their advantage (ie complainers on booyah's facebook page) A simple google search can yield all sorts of information that one desires. Google is your friend I guess 'other' can be voted as google search. I figured google search led most people to macrumors.com so I left if out. Guess this site is getting huge if it's starting to show up via google ;D |

I found Mac Rumors through google search and posted for a little bit and loved the folks - but didn't care for the format, so Sol twisted my arm and made me start this forum. Then, of course I had to join. Jeez... he's persuasive.  I was glad I did and I'm very thankful everyone else followed... and the rest is history. Thanks BB for all your hard work! I lurked Mac Rumors for a while... then signed up only to thank Candyland and Sventown. Posted once. But I got in right before this forum was created.
Then read the the invitation post to migrate... and was one of the first people to register.

It took forever to look through pages, with no easy way of finding specific info u need. This is by far, the better site Saw the subtle message u posted over there, btw. Lol very ninja like! I had been lurking the old forums for a few days, and then had to join in to chat on there... When Solsville mentioned about heading to this forums, I immediately hopped over, and joined. I googled Was trying to look for answers regarding "bugs" and concerns about the game then came i came across the forum... Read lots of helpful infos and tips so i immediately joined in  |

Kechibam: Can you add a "Google (or other search engine)" option. We are showing up in Google searches now. I did several test searches and we have come up on page 2 of several search results. One search I did we actually showed up as the last entry on PAGE 1!

Thank you! thx sol. unfortunately there is no way to edit the poll. once it's posted, there is no way to modify it. i suppose "other" can be voted as google (engine search). i purposely left it out cuz i assumed google led them to macrumors.com. this site is definitely climbing up the charts. if i had known they can easily find a link to this forum through google itself, i woulda included google as an option  sorry I just wish more people will vote  |

The day i downloaded this game into my ihone i was hook then i was having problems so i googled MT2 and that's how i found Mac Rumors and then Sol mentioned about this forum and invited me to join in and the rest is history.

I downloaded this game way back when it was a top game app on the app store. I, too, became immediately hooked. Was fun til land expansion became exorbitant. (left a couple of negative reviews on the app store ) After which, I googled for MT2 forums but not a single one existed at that time! So I decided to be patient and built my town the way I wanted. I got fed up when land was up to a million to clear, so again, I googled for help. This time, I found Mac rumors and there was a MT2 discussion...up to 50+ pages long! I was glad I wasn't alone. Read through some pages...became very familiar with the names barracuda bay, licat and gracegirl ;D but never joined. Lurked here for the first 15 pages and decided to take the plunge and the rest....is history Without the help of this forum, I honestly would've deleted this game months ago. To everyone on this forum...I thank you. |

My13 y/o was playing CityVille. I was tooling around in the App Store and found MYTown 2. But, it was my son who started the game. I picked up on it in a couple of days......
I wanted to find more info about the game and how it worked since there are never any "instructions" to be found. So, I started looking all around. Saw Macrumors. Went there and lurked a bit and jumped in. I waited until Sol said he was makng a new forum and I jumped the ship and swam over here. I think I was #2 and sitting on the button waiting to be # 1 to start the official forum, but had to wait on the slowness of the bug to let me in and register.
Been on board ever since, and still trying to catch YG at postings......but I am gone working, but I sure post as much as I can when I can.....I try to do my part keeping this forum interesting ......Trying..... ;D

I found this via mytown2 mayor... Is it possible to contact other mytown players via the Booyah ID on this site? I'd be curious to talk to some of the people I've been exchanging gifts with....
