I see the response wasn't written by Kate. Did they finally hire somebody else to help?

Had to report in - reported my freezing town at 2pm and had response from Alexander at 5pm! That's pretty fast response! Several communications - omg he made me delete app and reload! Didn't cure problem but now I know my town data comes back! they're still working on it but it has been sent on to another dept.

I messaged Booyah customer service asking about new land the other day. The response I got was pretty positive I think. It was from Alexander. Enjoy...
Don't worry, we're definitely planning on growing My Town 2! Unfortunately I can't give you a specific date , but I can tell you that our team is constantly working on adding new features and expanding the game for higher level players like yourself. Keep an eye on the upcoming updates and we look forward to hearing more from you in the future! Cheers! Booyah Support

Positive but quite vague and non committal.
I do think the release of the last set of items which do not appear to be limited time offers, suggests that more land is on the way, since their footprints take up more space than most, and Booyah must realise that means more land required.
I would also be interested to know when the community buildings upgrade is coming? Is it still 'soon'?

I have been wondering the same thing myself. I was excited to see the post office and essential town buildings in the running of being upgraded. Booyah sure wants to keep up the suspense

Hi All,
Here is my latest response from Katelyn at Booyah in regards to Land and other concerns (note: my e-mail to her was sent just before yesterday's update):
Hi Sol!
My apologies for the delay in a response to your email. Things have been a little crazy since the update was released yesterday. I am glad that so far the feedback has been good. Unfortunately, as you know by now, yesterday's update came with a couple issues, particularly concerning the popularity of businesses. We are looking into this right now and will hopefully have it fixed in a very near future update.
In regards to the land increase, I am still fiercely pushing for this. We are trying to find a long term solution to space, storage and inventory, and until we do, I will continue to keep pushing. I wish I had better news, and as soon as I have more, I promise I will be sure to let you know.
On another note, how would you guys like to run another sponsored contest?
Thanks!

Surprised where she says feedback is good. She obviously has not read the comments on Facebook. Don't remember seeing anything positive there.
And if she did regularly read Facebook comments she would know all players are asking for land, and the longer the game goes without a land update, the worse people's frustration gets. So with such a disappointingly vague response, you do wonder how seriously Booyah takes its customer feedback?
I fear for them if they continue to persistently ignore the one thing everyone wants. Whilst not wishing this on them they may find a huge exodus of players very soon, and maybe only then will they have their "Eureka moment" and realise what they need to do to save their game?

I just wrote a lengthy comment about land. And my growing frustration. And I hit the post buttons and pro boards logged me out. Suffice to say it did not help the frustration. I won't try to re-write it, for everyone's sake. But I will just say that I'm very disappointed. I'm very frustrated with MT2 on the whole at this point, and land expansion is a top 3 reason for me. I pretty sure I'm not alone with that. So, for the developers to not be listening to their players seems a bit ...shortsighted. Yes, I will go with shortsighted. I hope things turn around over there in the Booyah building. It is possible for them to add land. It is possible for them to add storage. It would boost people playing their game and therefore spending real money on it. I don't get the pushback. I feel bad for Katelyn.

We are trying to find a long term solution to space, storage and inventory [/i][/quote] I played (and completed quite quickly so don't bother with it) a game recently called Design This House. This uses a storage facility to put objects into which you are no longer using which can then be added back into your game at the users behest. Perhaps Booyah could look at this and take some inspiration, or even better, some code!

But you're right, the storage facility was handy!

I honestly don't understand the no storage thing. It seems to me that function is already built into the game. When they give you a free item it is "stored" in the store with a little red number 1. So I just don't understand why they don't make that same function available to store items that have been previously purchased. Seems like they are just Choosing not to.

The other three games that I play daily--snoopy street fair, ice age village, and gardens of time--all have a storage function where you can put away items you purchased so you can redecorate anytime you like with items you bought before. I mean we paid--either coins or bucks--for a decorations/building, why can't we use it whenever we like and put them away if we want? Why am I forced to choose between using it or selling it after I spent coins/bucks buying an item? It's so frustrating with the limited land and the new items they keep releasing...I'm really not too happy with mt2 right now...

I have not upgraded. I'm stuck in Paris at the moment. I have not read anything that tells me upgrade problems are fixed, of even understood. Since my stats don't seem to match what I see real-time, I am really worried I might lose bucks, coins, popularity or the whole town. Several horror stories but no fixes. I have noted a new oddity... I was franchised after I had collected the coinage but before setting up a new job. The franchise bucks flew off but never arrived in the bank. I have also noted that if I don't have wireless connection for a while, I don't get coins or bucks credited in the bank. When I get wireless again, and the game reloads, all the monies show up. So, I surmise that the calculation for the job cost is looking for a current popularity number in order to finish the post? And if it doesn't find one, it eventually reverts to a low stored value? Just wondering how location surfing and network connections could impact game values. Back to the missing franchise fee, I killed and restarted the game with no change. I did a check in and also waited for the game to reload. Still no change. Thought I would share observations. I'd love to change locations, But I don't want to risk the penalty. I do see new stuff, except for community skins. Buying and selling work the same.

I see the response wasn't written by Kate. Did they finally hire somebody else to help? Whoever wrote the letter, sure wouldn't/ couldn't sign their name to that letter. I do hope Kate got some help, too. She must be exhausted.

Hi My Town 2 Players, I had this problem before, but when I wish to send them a message through there ''Where You Play Matters Website'' I try to do it on Monday and Usually Get an Answer From Them (Alexander). Because they only work monday through friday not during the week-end. So if you send the message on Saturday or Sunday they might not receive it cause their computer are turned-off. I do not know if you Noticed but when you send a message to BooYah an automatic server sends you a message giving you some information about the case Number and stuff. This only Happens Monday to Friday (That's what I noticed) but when I send a Message on Saturday or Sunday I do no get an answer from the automatic server. I Tried it for More than 3-4 Times already. To Sum Up I do think that you should send you message before Friday to get an answer soon. Hope it Helps, Best Regards, EuroPacific Town

Hmmm - even yesterday I got the automatic server answer with a file number - it has the office hours attached to it so I did know they only have people in office Monday to Friday! They may have someone checking that spot for emergency issues like downed servers!!! lol My son works IT - often someone has weekend monitoring duties!!! RL in the world of mt2 maybe!?!?! EuroPacific - where do you send your email? Mine goes to mt2support@booyah.com Have a great Sunday everyone! Raven 29067906

I had some contact with a member of customer-support to share some idea's and problems! and thought I should share them with the community. I emailed them about; - Tone-color of grass
- Rivers
- Confirm button upgrade business
Now i never got a clear answer about the confirm button, so I suppose they will not fix this. since they are not speaking of this problem and only tell you to be careful next time.
