Hi All, OK, this post is going to seem as if it's coming out of left field. But, anyone that has played the original MyTown game is going to understand. I'm going to show you some details about the original MyTown game created by Booyah. The purpose of this is to show that they do have the capability to add many of the features that we are asking for. Inventory and more social features being the primary examples demonstrated below. First off MyTown had a lot of similarities with check-ins, collecting rent and population. The focus was more on creating and customizing individual businesses vs. creating Again, the purpose of showing you this is to demonstrate how these features HAVE been created by Booyah in the past and to give you an idea of how they might be implemented into My Town 2 - if Booyah chooses to do so. Thought you all might get a kick out of that. I wish I had been around for the original. It looks like it would have suited me even more. My interest lies in the creation of a town, (as opposed to the accumulation of huge amounts of wealth and reaching the top level) and I would love to be able to customize things more. It looks like there were more variables in the original version and so your businesses, for example, could look different to everyone else's. I am disappointed with the limited number of skins available, for example some categories have only about 5 options, even when you have reached the top level. There are also features that I don't want that I would prefer to have as a personal customization that I choose, for example King Kong. I choose not to have the entire building because I think he looks stupid hanging there. Shame he couldnt be an additional feature that could be added, or not, as a stamp or decoration. Anyway, all thatntomsay, loved looking at your images of the original. I hope we get some of the above features soon. I have played surreptitiously at work to achieve the purchase of all the land in order to be able to create some rural type space, and now that I have it I cannot do anything more really without forfeiting it. Shame.

Unfortunately, I wasn't so lucky. Email to her days ago, and follow up email yesterday have gone unanswered. Gosh, and I thought I was being really polite. I have to give credit where credit is due. This afternoon I received an email from Katelyn Olmstead. Actually a very nice email and notice of $100 bucks credit. Well done, Booyah.

Hi it might be fun if it was possible to buy and sell with other players...And as for the storage issue we could have to buy a storage unit Maybe even have an assortment of sizes just like the real world and each size would hole a limited amount of items. This is a great game and has so many possibility's. Also I have a request to do some of the special events during the week once in a while just to spice things up a little Darlene Bradford. 35790825

Hi it would really be fun if we could buy and sell with other players. And as far as the storage idea that could be something we have to buy like the other buildings except we would have a choice of size just like real life and each size holds a set about of items per unit... Just like real storage units. Then it could be kept to a minimum. It's a great game with still more potential. Darlene 35790825

With all due respect (and please, correct me if I'm missing something), do we not currently "scroll" through copious amounts of inventory in playing the game already (housing, wonders, communities, etc.)? So I'm confused as to the sudden concern that we would be burdened and disgruntled by scrolling through our own purchased inventory in which we've worked long and hard to acquire? Regardless of how it's accomplished -- the game DESPERATELY requires a means to store currently owned items, ESPECIALLY in light of the resistance to offer more land. Besides...everyone loves to crawl up in the attic, explore the basement and dig in the closet for seasonal decorations throughout the year! What's not to love about that?!

Is anyone else having a hard time communicating with Booyah? I've reached out to them MANY times and have yet to get a response. I know they are inundated with requests, but it's been over 2 weeks since I originally sent my issue.
Anyone else having the same issue???

I'm with you. I have noticed effective actions taken based on my e-mails, but very little in the way of response from Booyah (other than the automated replies).
The quoted response times were 24 hours before the disappearing town glitch, now they quote a 72 hour response time, but I have a feeling that they are even more jammed than we even know.

Has anyone heard from Booyah? Looks like they are pre-occupied with the new Animals game.

New Response from BooyahRegarding the amount of bucks that you get for doing errands for citizens. I literally had to wait for at least a hundred citizens to come through before I got another buck. I was worried I'd never get one again but I eventually did. Probably none of you are as excited about the addition of the Apple Store in Hong Kong as I am. If you've never seen it though, it's very impressive. The most expensive one ever built. I'm hoping to get it early and maybe it will become very popular. Also, this response took 6 days to receive. Not bad.

They're not preoccupied with the animal game. I wrote to them six times over a two-month period regarding an issue with that game and never heard anything back. And that uofpdate they just released for it? The game crashes so often that you can barely get logged on. Once you do, you can barely stay on long enough to collect coins.

If you lost Bucks due to upgrading it doesn't hurt to email Booyah. I did and was just given back close to $180 bucks as I explained that in total Ive hit the upgrade button 3 times. They don't tell you how much is added exactly but 180 looks about right from what i had before. See the email below:
MAY 09, 2012 | 11:22AM PDT Alexander replied: Hi Moon, The upgrade problem is a known issue that the developers are aware of and are working to resolve. I've added the lost Bucks to your account, until the issue is fixed please try your best to avoid upgrading by mistake. In terms of the ideas for the game, awesome! We love to hear what the community likes and what they'd like to see added. I'll definitely make sure to bring up the idea of changing land motifs to our team, (something I personally have been hoping for as well).
Thanks for your patience and support! =) Cheers! Booyah Support
