Someone suggested that if Booyah charged real money for land and/or a storage option they would be willing to pay for it.
Please answer and I'll submit the results to Booyah and see what they say.

I would much rather pay for storage than land. Paying game bucks for land would be much more feasible in my opinion.

Categorically will never pay real money for extra content on a game. I would use in game bucks only.

We need more land and Storage (as long as the storage shed was of fair size).

I'd rather see a warehouse than more land. I'm probably the only one OK with the size board we have. It doesn't even fit on the iPhone screen all the way... So if you fix the land, fix the sizing of it as well please.
Edit: No, I wouldn't pay extra for more land.

I spend hundreds of dollars paying for extras in the games I play, but I also don't go shopping, buy new clothes, go to the movies, rarely go out to eat, or do anything other than sit here all day and night either knitting, watching TV, or playing games. It's my form of entertainment. However, a land update is something which should be provided by the company; I don't consider it in the same category as buying extra carrots, gems, or bucks.

No way should we pay for land. But the majority of players out there who are unaware of this forum will no doubt pay for bucks for items if they have lots of land to place it on.
Seems to me sensible business practice therefore to offer expansion to keep players interested. With a ceiling on the game as now players will drift away and not invest real money. I cannot understand how Booyah have not figured that out?

Since this is a free ap, you would think that land would be free. I'd pay bucks for it at this point -though in the past when they charged bucks I walked away from the game. They do offer their 'buck bundles' and such to make money. And recently they item packs (the Mothers day bundle, the cinco de mayo bundle etc). I would, however, pay $1/per for land. I know that it 'should' be free in a free ap. I know they have other opportunities to make money. I don't buy the bundles of items. I have bought buck packs (prior to the generous RH's giving to my town). I don't mind paying for a game that I like. I don't mind supporting a business that I like. But honestly, the bottom line for me, is I would pay them in any currency they'd like for it... Green bucks, or cold hard cash.

I'm not looking to pay anything for more land if booyah doesn't want to give it. However I really agree with some of you, I would pay game bucks for a storage/warehouse. It should be like a wonder of some kind, costing a few hundred game bucks, it takes up a whole plot and it stores 2-4 plots( the wonder that is the storage/warehouse) of whatever stuff is on those land plots, then every plot you store, it cycles a new fresh empty plot out through it for you to decorate. Something like that is going to have to be done i believe if were going to see anything at all in the near future, and Honestly I see something that like that being configured and formatted for the game before I see more plots added to the games graphic layout. Feeling like a mt2 hoarder though I'm ready to settle for anything at this point! Lol

I disagree strongly with taking up an entire plot of land for a storage facility. And I hope Booyah (Katie) doesn't read that and run back and offer it as an idea. There are Many games that have in app storage, that neither cost or take up room. I do not understand why a company like Booyah are finding it so difficult. Is it just an inferior programme?
If you are reading this Katie I would like to point out there are other games that are doing extremely well that I don't have to pay a dime to play if I don't want too. And that as you have seen on this board people are getting totally fed up with the lack of land and storage and going to play elsewhere.
Why is it they are spending all their energies on ignoring what their players actually want (other than the odd message to try to appease us and we know that is all it is) and coming up with more and more 'Selling ideas'.... I think this speaks volumes about where the game is going. And it's looking only towards new players not those of us that have played it long term.
I'm repeating what others have said in other threads because I feel the same way, so sorry if you think you have heard all this before but this I believe is the place to say it.
Lots of people are still using the forum because it's a cool place, but a great deal of us are not actually playing the game while Booyah sit around I believe, trying to decide how best they can get money out of us for land and storage etc.
I have no problems with them offering up bundles and new things to buy. Those things are optional and up to the individual to decide if they want to buy it. But paying for the basics of the game in a so called 'Free App'.... Do I need to say more.

While I would certainly love more land and it is probably the most-requested feature, I don't think that I would want it to follow the cash-for-land model. It isn't so much the dollar amount as much as the gap it would create between those that would/could pay for it and those that wouldn't. I guess you could make an argument for those extra plots costing Bucks instead of Coins but...ugggh..I have like 18 Bucks on my account right now.
On the other hand, I chose the $5 amount on the Storage Feature. It is a royal pain to restructure your town right now. It would be nice to be able to just get some stuff out of your way without deleting it.
Another option I would probably pay for is having a second town. If they allowed sharing between towns, it could function as Storage or you could use it to experiment with different builds. It would probably be a non-trivial amount of code to write but some of the database issues of a Storage system might be more easily addressed with this method.
At the end of the day, they could realistically make everything cost Bucks instead of Cash for the same net effect. I would be curious about statistics of non-forum players that actually buy Bucks. This forum trivializes/devalues Bucks a great deal but I imagine it is a significant portion of the Revenue for this game.
Thanks for taking the time to do the Poll Sols.
