Luck of the Draw - Gift Raffle! This event is going to be held once to see if it will replace the weekly Member Appreciation event. It is similar to the April 2012 Gift LotteryThe lottery is open to any forum member. There are going to be 2 lists: donors only and potential gift winnersFor donors only (say you are at level 75 and just want to participate) please post "Donating only" in your post. This means you are going to gift the winner his/her choice of gift out of the kindness of your heart. If you want to donate a franchise, you can post this as well! For potential gift winners, please post your town name, level, ID# (if this isn't in your signature) and what gift you would like to receive if your name is chosen. For example, say you have been struggling to level up and you want XP then post "XP" or you want more bucks then post "bucks". You must have a level of business appropriate for the gift you want. Why 2 lists? Karma of course! If you are on the donor only list, you could be chosen to win +10 Karma on the day of the drawing! Two people from the donors list will be picked to win +10 karma. If you are on the recipient list and your name is chosen as the winner, you will receive +10 Karma! You can sign up from 12:00AM EST on Tuesday to 11:59PM EST on Thursday. Please do not sign up outside this time! The winner will be randomly drawn and announced on Friday - the same way the mayor appreciation winner has been chosen. All players agree to send the winner the gift they posted within 48 hrs of the lottery ending. Remember, this is the honor system so if you sign up to play the game you must agree to send the specified gift to the winner! Good luck Mayors! |

Oh Kiwi! Did I get the colors mixed up!? Sorry - I do remember the green one is mine - but ok - no naughty chair for you! I love the international aspect of our forum - I can't keep the time straight in the time zone next to me so I'm the last one to talk naughty chairs and time zones! Have a great day!

If it makes you feel any better Raven, time zones aren't really my thing either. My daughter was supposed to land in New Orleans at 9:30 Saturday morning. I started getting nervous when she didn't text to say she landed by 10:15. Then I remembered they were central time and the itinerary had local time not our time. Duh! The better one though was when we went to Aruba and I forgot that they don't do daylight savings time. For the life of me I couldn't figure out how the flight one way was an hour longer than the flight the other way.
Given my poor history with time zones, maybe I should just wait until Wednesday even though I'm in the eastern time zone and should be good to go on Tuesday.

Sni I'm on the naughty chair sitting here eating cherries and throwing the pits out the window hoping that I have a cherry tree one day, so don't talk to me. This is supposed to be punishment, but secretly I love my naughty chair - when I am here I don't have to vacuum, fold the washing, change the sheets in Emma's cot, prepare the sweet corn cobs for the BBQ tonight, or collect up all the toys that got thrown out of the paddling pool this morning. So I think I will stay here a little longer, if that's ok with you. I want to be well and truly 'punished' |
