Kiwi thought I should share this in this thread as well! So for those who don't visit Tiki Bar! This was my best present this Christmas - my grandsons gathered flowers this summer and pressed them and made this collage - I framed it - just love it! Attachments:

Thanks Raven - it's too pretty not to share. Today I fitted back into pre-pregnancy shorts (and I dont even mean elasticated waist ones!). By Hollywood standards, I took about 10 and a half months too long, but as Emma isn't one yet, and my target was 12 months, I'm pretty happy. It's all good as long as I don't sit down

Thanks for sharing the picture here Raven. Well done Kiwi. I'd say your timing was great for a normal person. Now if you had a nanny, personal trainer, dietician, etc like the Hollywood types..........

SO FAR I got complimented a few times. I got to watch my favorite movie and shopping with my best friend and overall I am just thankful for being alive, and having my family beside me. That makes me happy no matter how bad the day is.

Thanks for sharing Alvan. The simplest things can make for a great day when they're shared with friends and family. +1

Raven, I think the picture is absolutely beautiful. The Crocs, however, are not! That said, I have to share that I think I have the exact same ones. Black, with fuzzy black lining! Ha ha!
Kiwi, congrats on losing the baby weight - it can be a challenge!

Lol -- Parker and her mom go to yoga every week! You should see her do the Warrior asana! So cute! LOL - that sounds painful!! Looks even more painful!! Thank you, Puppet and Cat. We are starting to think about #2, and I am sure it will be a bigger battle with more early morning runs after the second!! I hoped if I waited long enough to have them, someone would figured out how to enable men to have the babies, but sadly that won't be in my child-bearing lifetime. Maybe my daughter's

My daughter is home from her trip to New Orleans. Sounds like she had a wonderful and very productive time. Oh and now she knows how to mud, sand, and prime a room.

While out on our drive today, I noticed my wife eating our taro chips at an alarming rate, so I needed to come up with something quick. So I started singing opera arias, and I am definitely no Pavarotti (in fact he probably still has a better voice than me although he has been dead for five years) and bingo! She started shoving chips in my mouth to shut me up. I love it when a plan comes together.

One year ago today, I became a mother. This wasn't an easy feat for hubby and I; we had a long path to parenthood. However, it has been the most rewarding, wonderful year, and every day I am grateful for our happy, healthy, funny, charming, beautiful baby girl. It's so true what they say - there is no job more rewarding than motherhood. Happy Birthday my darling girl, and thank you for every moment.
