Ok I knew there was something wrong because my popularity was just not going up, despite everyone else's changing. So I sold it and refranchised, and I am now at 4091 with 3299 check-ins.

Oh and RHoS is on 2807.

Oh Bret, PFC is Kiwi. I had two franchises today, which is surprising cos I'd done nothing today. Too busy, Saturday here. Top effort, everyone! That's higher then I thought it would go.

As a speculation, what if any given person can only bump up up a certain business 1.5-2.0 k each? If so, we should work in series rather than in parallel. First one, then the next, rather than all together? Then collectively franchise from the highest pop person, then a new person starts?

Bret really seemed to make a difference today and he is new to Operation Dumbo, maybe he is on to something?

Just woke up and my town:
3818 popularity and 1733 check ins
It's was 3797 and same check ins last night.

PFC town has it at 3928 popularity

So the question is when we do check ins in our town does it make a difference to everyone else?

Raven had: 3311 pop and 3342 checkins

Newzealander had: 4091 pop 3299 after a re franchise

3934 popularity and 3330 check ins

Popularity is up and so are the check ins?

It is past Derek and New Zealander's bedtime so we probably won't hear from them for a few hours. Let's do some more check-ins. my elephant jumped to 3900 overnight so somebody's checkins are impacting mine.

I'm not sure how long it will take to feel the impact but I've just hit 4000. Earned 390 squirrels and 31 fountain lakes so far.

I just noticed that after a job finished my pop went up 1 maybe that's it also?

I remember seeing somewhere it has on here what check-in and job does. I'll see if I can track it down.

I found this:
1. You do your own Check-ins
2. a. You do jobs and level up.
. b. You Upgrade and pay Bucks to immediately raise one level
As of Feb 24, 2012, 10 is the highest level for a business
3. Other Town Mayors do Check-ins
4. Other Town Mayors franchise your business.

I also just upgraded it to level 10 for a lot of bucks and it didn't change in my town.
PFC town has it at 4079 which is werid because 10 minutes ago it was at 4088?
I'm confussed! Now it's at 4096

Mine was at 3815 so I deleted it and franchised it from Derek. Now it's pop 4,077 with 3,563 check-ins.

Weird again that on PFC town it's at 4069 and 5 minutes ago it was 4071? And at my 8:25am post it was 4096?

Vaing it does make you wonder! That pop is about where mine was last night! Just curious but have you closed app and started it fresh? I closed mine last night - just a thought.

Vaing, I had something similar - mine got "stuck" at about 1600. I ended up selling and re franchising it, and now it's going up again. It's 4163 this morning, so you guys are onto something.

Vaing, I will get some bucks to you in case you want to refranchise it. My town name for today is "Pls franchse cupcake"
