It is good to see another Brit If I may ask, and feel free to not reply if you don't want, but how come you moved to the US? I get so confused with these quotes in quotes lol... Was that meant for me Bellevue? If it is, I am in the UK, in the North West. I've come full circle back to home town. I returned here 5 yrs ago when my lovely Mum was dying so I could spend some time with her. I went to Vancouver BC when I was 21! Loved it but did have a lot of home sickness in the early years. I also spent 6 months in Brooklyn. I moved back to England in 2001 after I met my now ex husband when I was home on vacation for my brothers wedding. We spent a year flying back and fourth and eventually I moved back. Probably will end up staying here now. So you are English and have spent time in the States? Hope you are enjoying this nice lonnnnng weekend we have |

 Hidido!!! Hay, I would like for you all to know just how much TODAY AND THE LAST WEEK for the DIAMOND JUBILEE. I wish I was in your neck of the woods for all the festivities. I KNOW more about the british monarachy and its history than I know about the USA presidents. ANYTHING to do with you all, I am glued to the tv or reading about the brits. That says alot for me since I don't have time to read, ever. Or, do I really like to read. My DVR has been and is taping today BBC. I have traveled today all over the internet celebrating with ya'll. Since I can't decorate alot of my town with british decor, I did buy flag(s) to commemorate the 60th jubilee. Beleive me, if there were any royal decorations out there to put in my town, I would have them to celebrate with you. HIP HIP HORAY... HIP HIP HORAY... HIP HIP HORAY !!!!!! ;D

Hope you enjoyed all the pomp and ceremony. And notice the lack of guns and soldiers etc. Though security was tight. The queen always has clear glass so we can see her and hats that don't cover her face . Other heads of state have tinted glass in their cars. I don't live in London and not a huge royalist though I do like that we have a monarchy and we sure know how to throw a party lol. I was in London this weekend, it's a fantastic city regardless but looks exceptional at the moment what with the jubilee and the Olympics coming up. It's been a lovely happy weekend all over England and I think most of us have enjoyed and appreciated having something to celebrate as a nation, as cheesy as that might sound. |

I live like 6-10 miles from central London and I didn't even go! Lol
But we did have a little jubilee tea party for the kids and family! Was really fun!

Who ever is " diamond jubilee"', I want to thank you for the franchises you gave to me yesterday.
I'd given almost anything to have spent a week over in London. If you( or if anyone has any good tales) please pm me and share them with me.
I was soooooo excited when I saw who the franchises came from. I will try to be on chat later at night x3 about 8 -1am. CST.
