Can someone please take a look at the business at chocotown (35709847)? All the businesses shows a popularity of 25 and located in MyTown, CA. No matter how many times I franchasied from it, the popularity won't go up, it stays at 25. Where is MyTown, CA anyway? I'm just a little confused about what's going on with those businesses.

So, I just went to my town, collected my coins... Looked around and something looked 'off'. Looked around some more. And finally it hit me. I had no cars. No cars on my roads. None. I closed out my game and re-loaded it. And still no cars. .....  ? Will one of you guys go see if you see them from your end? |

I had talked previously about re-doing my town when we got The Update and more land. Well, here we are. And I'm still sooooo antsy to re-do my town, I really don't like the way it looks.
But bc I've got it so crammed full of stuff, without more land, the only way I can re-do it is to delete things to move things.
So, do I delete to move? Or wait to see if there is a 'real update' on its way?

Thanks so much for the franchises, Candyland. It really does feel like I just received candy, heh. I wish I could do more than just tip you bucks, but that's all I got. I'm disappointed that Mt. Fuji costs so much, but I'm not mad at Booyah. If you're interested in hearing my thoughts, I have posted them in the thread that's ranting about the update. I'll keep it out of this thread. Anyways, I LOVE the new houses. They are so darn adorable. I'll definitely be adding those into my town. I like how my town is coming along. Ever since coming to this forum, I've been able to skim over people's towns and found a few premium skins that I didn't own. Yay! |

I am cooling down a little bit, but it still hurts. The promise of the update...followed by the colossal failure. The thing, the two big problems (the level 50 cap and the lack of land) NEED to be solved. Those issues are genuinely driving people away from the game and making it impossible to have a satisfying experience. If you can release 10 new things to buy for coins, why not make them unlockables and part of the new level system? Why hold a never-ending series of events with new stuff to buy, but not give new land to spread out or an inventory locker to place old items? Why force the endless experience of delete / buy new stuff / rinse / repeat? They had time to address these questions and clearly did not want to.
I don't see why we don't each write to Booyah and complain about lack of land / new levels. Strength in numbers.

aw5678: I just wanted to confirm, like Ashleyegret, I see your cars too. I'm holding off deleting things. It's very hard because I am tired of so many SEs and Offices and I'm anxious to make my town look better. My town has so much stuff; I've left just enough space so I can still move things around but it's tedious. And on the other hand, I'm still coin-crazy and building up my bank. I want more land. Feb 29th--I sure hope that is the day for the big update...*crossing fingers* So, I just went to my town, collected my coins... Looked around and something looked 'off'. Looked around some more. Thanks to CandyLand, and my losing my town, I was able to afford the Mt. Fuji. What I can't figure out, though, is that the popup says that it comes with a free, Shinto Temple - before March 4th. Construction is not complete for another 24hrs., but I don't see the temple anywhere? Anyone get Mt. Fuji, and know what the deal is with the temple?

Time to go buy Hooked on Phonics, pal. May need to brush up on your reading.  The ad says that if you build Mt. Fuji by Sunday 03/04, you'll get a free Shinto Temple -- which will be added to your town (presumably inventory) by Friday 03/09. Booyah screws a lot of things up, but they could not have made that more clear. Go read Booyah tab, Updates sub-tab - "The Mt. Fuji Deal!" a second time. |

For the free temple:
In the past, free items will pop up with a red dot next to it. I'm guessing that this will be the same for the temple as you will be the one to place it where you want. It won't just appear randomly.

I just sent Booyah a long message talking about the Mt.Fuji price, and the general pricing on their bucks, and of course mentioning the frequent request for more land. I am going to open a new topic soon which may help our cause. In the past, groups have sent "form letters" to companies which, in large enough numbers, may persuade them to act. Essentially, it will be a brief paragraph requesting/demanding (in a civil manner) the addition of new land and new levels. More on that later. I'll include Booyah's E-mail and if we could all send the letter individually and sign our names, it would be amazing. For now, can someone find out the town for this user for me? Efraim ID # 30682359 Unfortunately, I tried to add him but he's already on my list. Therefore, it will be nigh impossible to figure out who he is (normally, I add and just click on the unfamiliar town). But for someone who doesn't have him on their list, it should be easy. Thanks, trying to update the directory to accomodate these new people coming out of the woodworks. |

Barracuda, I've started a "Welcome" thread (look under the "New Threads" section to find it). There's only been one response so far, but I've asked newbies to introduce themselves and give their town name/ID. You might want to keep an eye on it for inclusion in the directory.
