Oh my GOSH!!! Grab your suits and a towel. The pool is going in TODAY people! Unbelievable ! It was going to take me a month of collecting a buck a day to get it, but now, thanks to y"all (yes, I say that), we will be doing backflips off the board this afternoon!! Pekman and cAndyland, I will have a frosty beer waiting for you beside your pool chairs. YIPEE . ;D

I know there is a separate thread for thanks but..... I want to thank licat for the gift this morning only to lose it to the glitch monster who wipes away any progress I make before I get a chance to save it. BEWARE OF THE GLITCH MONSTER. I do have mt Fiji and wondering if that's the cause. I'm going to stop shaking and save my game everytime I receive a gift. I emailed booyah atleast 5x regarding lost progress but nothing back it's been happening all week. Who ever write that candYland should have his own thread is correct but then u need on for pekman too. The thread can be named ole faithful  Hoping for fixes and more land today/nite |

I just want to make clear for those who may have missed it or not understood the significanice. One of our members is a coder and has finally tapped into and unlocked extra land plots as of last night.
As he can only access what the company has pre-programmed in, it is clear that Booyah will at some point soon release the much-awaited new land plots.
I am still a little skeptical about The Mothership and El Dorado. The thing about the UFO is that a couple of members claim to have seen it in his town, but nobody seems to know or remember what bonus it gives. How is that possible?
My own experience is that some newbie mentioned it not long ago in Mac Rumors, and even posted a picture of a large purple spaceship. Macho Alpha was quick to respond that the picture was photoshopped and laughed it off, and if anything like that had been in his town, it was gone.
He seems to enjoy remaining shrouded in mystery.

4, YES 4, bucks for errands this morning!!! First one of the morning, from the tardy schoolgirl ;D
I've been experimenting with popularity, and Booyah is playing dirty tricks on us! A couple of weeks ago, I franchised "Quick", as one of the first businesses in New Johnstown. In (old) Johnstown, I had it at a popularity of around 150K. This time I got it at a popularity of 65K ish. It was one of my top two, popularity wise, and it was making me a LOT of coins, as an office, and with a couple of franchisers (thank you guys). So I've been tapping my little fingers off, trying to get my businesses back up to level 10 (so I can get gifted, green bucks), and Quick is now my only level 9. It's making me $10K coins, every 3 minutes. So I noticed yesterday, that it's now at a 108K popularity in other people's towns. That REALLY pisses me off, because on my stats, it still shows at 60 something (and YES, it did go down slightly in my stats).
So, in the name of science, I was willing to delete my only level 9 (and highest earner), and re-franchise it, at a higher popularity.... I moved to Paris, double checked on someone's Quick, that it was still at 108K, and was about to delete mine, when I noticed that the income was now $11K coins per three minutes. I checked my stats, and lo and behold, it is listed at 108K popularity, my overall popularity is up, and I DIDN'T HAVE TO DELETE AND RE-FRANCHISE!!
Apparently, re-locating to the town of the businesses, and checking them, will re-set your popularity stats at higher levels. BUT, the businesses in that same town, that have gone DOWN in popularity will also go down (Mixer Bar), so beware....
If anyone has anything to contribute to this, or has ANY understanding of how to keep the levels going up, and not down, please let me know
Now on to the other forum, to post it there, and let you guys categorize it, for what it's worth. Hahahaha

I married one, though. Bikers are fun to play with, but they don't make good marriage material (at least not the HA's I dated).  |

According to Mr. Goddess, some coders do the Photoshop thing just to screw with people. It's also apparently pretty simple for a coder who knows what to look for to access source code and break it. Sounds like Booyah needs to hire some hackers to break their own code so they know where it's weak. That's why we'll never get an ATM. They know we can get billions of coin a fairly quickly. They're not going to give us the ability to get those coins and then turn them into bucks. |

I wrote Booyah and asked them if in the future they will add something to set your time first before shaking your device. I don't know about you guys/gals but going back to your business to set your time after shaking almost deplete the purpose of Mt. Fuji. Would someone please be able to tell me if they had this problem? I can see my entire town, but when other try to gift or franchise all they see is the starting 2 houses. Can someone please look at the version on the opening screen and tell me if it is same as mine2.2.30:1.3.1. Dont waste any gifts or franchises on my town at moment, until up and running, make sure someone that can enjoy them get them. Any suggestions instead are truly appreciated.

Sharazani, I think you're right. If you look at the dates, the exchange was definitely a lot more upbeat before the weekend. lol Solsville, I read that post. And Im not pleased at all.. Sounds like booyah is going the way of "I will look at it, but I will NOT do it, and if you dont like it, go play something else" That is what it feels like to me. Mind you, after the weekend disaster, they may be getting extremely harassed, cranky, tired etc etc trying to solve all the problems of missing towns and whatnot. At least she did admit she sent the list to the developers and they do have the power to chose to act/accept or deny/ignore the wishlist. Someone I know spent 10 dollars for the green bucks so they could have the pyramid built yesterday on their lil device.. This morning, its all gone. I encouraged the person to "send a ticket to Booyah" to get that fixed. Sounds like this "nothing counting, nothing working, nothing staying there" bug is hanging around and Booyah will be hard pressed to fix it all, or something. Sharazani |

Speaking of which, while this is a digression and I will undoubtedly discuss this further in a separate thread, prepare yourselves for a laugh at Booyah's expense. Okay, so let's talk about the Lucky Chance Casino for a moment. I don't know how many of you have the misfortune of owning this miserable piece of doggie doo-doo. It is unquestionably the worst wonder in the game. Now you might think that if Booyah released a wonder that you could not obtain with coins or bucks - that you HAD to spend real money to get, and which cost about 4 times the price of buying a traditional Apple application - it would be MIND-BLOWINGLY AWESOME. But no, no, no, no. This is Booyah we are talking about here. Now I won't say the wonder does not look sick. I mean, it resembles a glitzy slot machine and has a freaking roulette fountain! And if someone says, "Well, I bought it for the look!" then I totally get it. Next to the Championship Stadium, it is probably the best looking wonder. However, it does nothing. "Ha, ha, silly Barracuda and his exaggerations." Yeah, I am not kidding around. Supposedly it makes money for you by giving you a 5% chance of getting double your coins when you click on housing or a business. So 1 out of 20 times you click on something, you get double coins. Even if this really happened, it would be awful. Do the math. If you have a bunch of stock exchanges and randomly get 50 million off a building that makes you 25 million, is that even a big deal? And if you are hard up for coins and make 300 coins off a building that makes you 150 normally, are you better off? Mind you, the odds are only 1 in 20 that this occurs anyway. But the truth is, I've never seen this thing ever double the coins on anything. Maybe they should have had a bright red "x2" come up to highlight the fact when it happens. But hell, I specifically look sometimes to see if twice the coins are coming down and I just plain cannot for the life of me say I have ever concretely gotten this bonus. Of course, when you tap quickly or use Mt. Fuji, you will NEVER be able to tell. Ugh, what a waste. LOL! Love your rant on the Casino. ;D I deleted mine, but while I had it, I paid very close attention to it and it did give the double coins about 1 in 20 times. But, it was only for rent on one single housing item. So instead of $150, I got $300 on a high-rise condo. I'm not sure if I've ever seen it work on job money collection. If you like the look of it, I would say that is the extent of its value. |

love puppet, I had the same glitches, crashes, bugs I don't know how many times, so annoying and frustrating  , yesterday I was franchised a few times by cAndyland and pekman, thats 50 bucks each time, then I come back a few minutes later and all the progress and bucks are gone just like that, its so disappointing when its so hard to earn them, sent Booyah an angry email, will see what happens... how do you save your progress in the game? is there a save button Im not aware of? |

Pamiams 31939551 Pamiam, it looks like you only have the two houses.... Which looks a lot like when my town got wiped out. Since you backed it up on your device, and it seems you can see your old town, try logging into game center, and see if it synchs somehow. If not, you may have lost it. I think you could also try a re-install as a last ditch effort.... I'm so sorry. I know the pain. If it makes you feel better, Booyah will probably hook you up with millions of coins and enough bucks to get you back fairly quickly.   |

Regarding my popularity experiment / observation: While the scenerio I described, worked with the Paris businesses (Quick, Mixer Bar, etc.), I cannot get it to repeat, with a tiny local business. So even if I reinstall, and locate in my real city, I can't get the popularity level to be what it is on someone else's town.  This game is making me crazy  |

I'm having the same problem as super city. It's as if I'm living my own "Groundhog Day" movie. I collect everything, set my jobs and when I go back, it's the way it was before I collected everything. I sent an email, but just got a "we received your request" response. It's been like this since yesterday at noon. How frustrating. It is building all the houses I bought though.
