Well...I'm here. You convinced me to jump ship.  Glad you took the proverbial plunge. I hold the Mac Forums thread in nostalgic reverence, but this is the right move IMHO. Now it is up to us to make our own forum the best it can be. We are off to a pretty solid start. EDIT: To let you know: yes, check-ins are +1 to popularity, and jobs are +2. Franchising is +20. But the reason people were complaining is that once you hit Level 50, your popularity was frozen for all businesses. Booyah fixed that in the new update. Lesksq, we're all here man. A word or two about franchising...when you franchise from another town, you get a copy of the business at its stated popularity. It is a symbiotic relationship: you and the previous owner give each other income bonuses as you level up, at a rate of 5% per level. Lemme explain. I franchise your pizza place. That gives you a 5% profit increase because my franchise starts at Level 1. Once it is at Level 4, the new bonus will be 20% (5% x 4). If I bring it to Level 10, now you are getting 50% in extra profits - that is as high as it goes. But you can see that if three people franchise that pizza place and reach Level 10, you are up 150%! The game will show you under stats how many people are franchising your individual businesses and what the bonuses are. It may show some people twice: ignore that as it is something the designers have never fixed to date. Now, this works in the other direction too. If you franchise my pizza place, then as you level up, I get the profit bonuses. In exchange, all the jobs you do are free of charge (you do not have to spend coins for jobs beyond 3 mins), and you get to see upfront what the popularity starts at (not the case at Booyah's store). Hope that helps clear things up. |

Since I haven't been on here for awhile, I thought I fill you all in. Hope no one minds. I just need to chat........
My husband went out and bought 2 minature 2.5 month old Maltize Poodles. HE DID........ I was not happy especially when he did not want to split up the two brothers......
We had a poodle for 13 years and the last 3 years ACE became HOH, arthritic, somewhat blind, and diabetic. The vet said alot of people wouldn't have done for the last 3 years what we did for our dog. The first day I brought ACE home, he was born with scaroptic mange from the mother which we didn't know and of course we obtained from him. He was only 1 month old when I brought him home......brother.......the vet just snickered and asked us if he had been itching........OH YEA!!!!! Of course, ACE slept with us in the bed from day one. He seemed to have something going on all the time. GOD knew he would be well taken care of. Then when son was born 13 years ago ACE really went down hill that last month, and I knew I had to let him go and to be put to asleep......THAT was the hardest DECISION of my life even after being in nursing I knew what I was up against, but I wouldn't let go. But with a new baby, I knew in my heart it was time and I new ACE wouldn't mind. He was so sick.... IT still pulls at my heart strings as I type this.......
Anyway, we don't buy birthday or christmas for each other anymore. We always buy for the family kids and we decide to make up some for it at income tax time. So, I just gt=ritted my teeth, and said OK, you do what you want to do........You can drop me off at BEST BUY for that new IPAD......we shook and he dropped me off and he came back in about 1 hour and got me and the IPAD....It isi not hooked up yet. Been working. I am going to try to set up husband on my town later.
KIds not bad about helping out with responsibilites. till it comes to about 6-7 am. Husband talks them out first thing 4 am. I took them today and pampered them and had them groomed, dressed, etc. They are so cute. One on of them looks just like ACE. That is my husband's favorite that looks like ACE......

Big bridge, oh puppies! so much work, but so darn cute. I'm sorry about your last dog, that's a tough pain. Maybe the pups will grow on you. A new iPad, too! Get that sucker charged up! So excited for you! |

I haven't been able to load my town all evening. Bad news can't collect on jobs. Good news just finished up on this thread, better news maybe it's nOt loading because they are updating(I would cross my fingers but to hard to tap). (gracegirl you are not alone in cracking yourself up)
Bridget good luck with your Puppies. try to send a pix and for god sake keep iPad away from little teeth. And not to get to spacey but I believe ACE's spirit is still in your home.

Congrats on everything, big bridge! Puppies... love 'em! My Emma was so darling. She was shipped from Moscow to SFO. After she got here, we took her out of the carrier, she went pot tie, and then flopped on my chest with her legs wrapped around my neck, stuffed her smooshed-in face in the crook of my neck, and went to sleep over the San Mateo bridge. She's far too big for that now, though. Get on that iPad, woman!  |

Ok guys, help me out....I'm confused.
I've returned to building my town, booyah awarded me a good amount of bucks and coins, it was crazy not to start over. Here is my confusion, as I move through the levels, I unlock certain buildings, parks, ect. Today, I unlocked both a tombstone and just now a stack of pumpkins! When I visit my store, they are not to be found.....a glitch?.

Its A sad Hidido!!!!! Well, For those of us playing, I will try to tell you where I live. I guess you all heard today of the tornados in SO Il. in Harrisburg, Il. I live 25 mi. south of there. There are not letting people in the area. Just to see the devistation from our area. I just balled my eyes out. Harrisburg hosp. was damaged and they were transferring pts to other facilities. Our ambulances service and other services was helping transport pts. Helicoptors were air lifting pts to other facilities. I don't know if we had any transferred to our facility or not. I was off and gone taking puppies to get pampered. I like the puppies, but I dont have to worry about getting to the highway. They don't run fast. That is a releif. Anyway, we are a small area. LOTS of area people from Rosiclare, Cave in Rock and Elizabethtown, and Golcanda (area county)work in harrisburg. We dont think anything about driving 30-6- miles to go shopping for what ever. We dot think a thing about it. Even the UPS and the FED EX people if they cant find someone they can/will drop the pkg off in other town at a business and the business will call tghe person and say your pkg is here.....you were not at home. That is a close knit community area (s). I live in Elizabethtown, born in Rosiclare. Say prayers for the town. 6 passed away......still looking for others search/rescue.  |

If anyone in the So. Il area, Paducah, Sturgis, Ky. Carbondale, Marion, Harrisburg, area, Give me a shout and I will gift you. I am trying to send gifts to you all that I look at the towns, and see several business from our area hoping/thinking you all might be reading this forum so I can gift you all and try to help you. If we can just hook up and type to each other. I have several business that have not been "franchised" that are level 10's. (If I understand that right). I would REALLY appreciate if someone would might stop buy and check those out and franchise those. They look lonely with out the hands there, and my timer screens are still BLUE. Thanks for any and all help........

THAT DAME UPGRADE BUTTON...... Candyland, Sventown, and others who sent me gifts, I REALLY thank you and appreciate it. I accidently hit the upgrade button and didn't know it....I saw where I upgraded, nut I thought it was from just leveling up on the job timers till I saw my bucks had decreased by 60 bucks.....that was it......I CONTACTED BOOYAH and explanded the situation and AFTER the fact that Candyland had gifted me the extra bucks and then my screen blinked and I had lost thoses bucks, too. Total of 110 bucks I list this afternoon. I was upset. I hope t at least get a answer from them just to see and courious.....  ? I have to back up 6 pages and play catch up..Work tomarrow. Catch you all on here tomarrow noc. Gotta go and watch more on local news of tornado damage. Rumor has it that reason that our local towns might not have ever really not had much storm damage is because of the "hills" and being the Shawnee Fational Forest farther South...... ?Its like anything else........just a matter of time..........hope not........just saying. Thanks Again. Come on people and Travel to the Shawnee National Forest in So. Il and spend the day. Good food on the river, visit the Rose Hotel (oldest in the state of Il), and the oldest Baptist Church in state of Il. (E-town, Il). We do have a floating restaurant on the river that serves fresh daily caught catfish.Come visit the beautiful So, IL and the Garden of the gods and stop buy and franchise me.How did you like that sales pitch? hehehe lol |

Hey peeps!
MT2 on Facebook announced they are having to deal with a problem on their servers and thats why the game is currently unreachable. Dang!! I had some businesses I need to collect on my town and I hate having to wait for who knows how long. Would be nice if theres a nice land and elvel update to it, but something tells me they are just fixing their servers. Bummmm!!!!!
On the bright side, even tho it is evening now, there is alot of fog out. Thankfully its not snowing, as we had that happen late afternoon yesterday and through the night with a nasty wind storm. Hope the game comes back up soon!!
