When I am in a city looking for high pop businesses, I check the check in to see what is around me. In Paris, for instance, I know that Quick is one of the highest popularity businesses. I wouldn't search in the store for it, because that would cost alot of bucks. See if you can't find someone who has it by exploring in social. I have some of the high popularity businesses in Paris if you want to franchise from me. You could get them for coins that way. Hope that helps you and answers your questions. If you have any more, feel free to message me. I bought creperie ? (the dog bowl biz) from you yesterday, I think. That has been my strategy - browse and experiment. What appears in check in and what is in the store are different which left me wondering. I'm still laughing over a game strategy that is sell low and buy high ;D Here is what I see: Nearby biz. Town franchise Quick 76135. 113,032 Canel 14667. Have not found Langley sylvite 16432. 16280 Mixer 26157. 38,698 Universal stud. 440,xxx. 7439 I'm sure levels may have something to do with the variance, but 440k vs 7.5k? Hmmm I have started a spreadsheet to see what pop vs level vs franchise have on $ for a 1 hour job. Interesting.

Hi Ashley, I was curious and tried to figure out if there is a pattern to the stacking boost. Using the values from your revenues, this chart is the result. The only thing that is clear is that after the second SE with 15% boost, the more SEs, the boost percentage drops. # of SE / Revenue / Difference / % Increase0 / 70 / 0 / 0% 1 / 76 / 6 / 8% 2 / 89 / 13 / 15% 3 / 102 / 13 / 13% 4 / 115 / 13 / 11% 5 / 128 / 13 / 10% 6 / 140 / 12 / 9% 7 / 153 / 13 / 8% 8 / 166 / 13 / 8% 9 / 179 / 13 / 7% 10 / 192 / 13 / 7% 11 / 204 / 12 / 6% Thanks for doing that Licat. I wanted to do what you did, but I was way too lazy 180

Booyah are scammers. After checking in for months on end, now some of my top businesses are my lowest. I'm going to delete this app on my iPhone if they don't do something about it. Complete waste of time and I've even paid some money into it as well, foolishly! Lesson learned. Don't play any Booyah games! Instead of rewarding users they take away what you've earned. Save your time and money for apps that don't require money to advance yourself. Once again, Booyah are scammers. If people start deleting their apps, they will go out of business. Don't play My Town 2 or any other Booyah games.

NEW STOCK EXCHANGE MATH: OK, I figured out the math on it. I set up a business on my test town with NO other multipliers. (If you have an Empire State Building or other wonder it will mess up the math). The math is: 20% + 20% = 40% + 20% = 60% + 20%= 80% + 20%= 100% In other words, there is no more compounding. Example - 15 Stock Exchanges: 15 x 20% = 3 - That is your bonus. 3 times the amount + the original amount. Test biz: No wonders - 84 coins - 3 mins. 15 SE's - 336 coins - 3 mins. How do we get 336? 84 x 3 = 252 + the original 84 = 336
Let's compare the OLD math with the NEW math: OLD MATH100 + 20% = 120 + 20% = 144 + 20% = 172.8 + 20% = 207.36, etc. ......... Office business: Zero Stock Exchanges - 100 coins for 3 minute job = 100 5 Stock Exchanges - 100 coins for 3 minute job = 248.83 10 Stock Exchanges - 100 coins for 3 minute job = 619.17 50 Stock Exchanges - 100 coins for 3 minute job = 758,369 60 Stock Exchanges - 100 coins for 3 minute job = 4,695,626 70 Stock Exchanges - 100 coins for 3 minute job = 29,074,079 NEW MATH: Office business: Zero Stock Exchanges - 100 coins for 3 minute job = 100 5 Stock Exchanges - 100 coins for 3 minute job = 200 10 Stock Exchanges - 100 coins for 3 minute job = 300 50 Stock Exchanges - 100 coins for 3 minute job = 1,100 60 Stock Exchanges - 100 coins for 3 minute job = 1,300 70 Stock Exchanges - 100 coins for 3 minute job = 1,500 OUCH!

Then it all make sense with solvilles calculation-- 1SE=64*1.2=76.8--booyah round it to 76 2SE=64*1.4=89.6--booyah round to 89 So by 5SE=64*2=128 Thank you sol! I forgot the mega mall is a wonder too...blame it to my fuzzy brain...

They have at least 30 vip theaters each and according to them, its not working anymore before the recent update, they were getting millions of coins, but this time its back to just a few coins (3 mis) and double digit thousands the most (4/10 hrs)

Most of my biz popularity were dropped, it is not fair we been spent lots of coins / bucks to franchise high value biz, now becomes useless.
And now we won't get the hourly free bucks easily. We have to watched 4 video to get 1 free bucks.

Here's my sad story Highest pop business, New York Burger King, was at 2.9 million pre-update. Now it's at 3,249. And it's only Level 5, so it slightly angers me to think of how much "money" I recently wasted. My top three were Burger King, NASA and Apple Store San Fran. 4 hour jobs pre-update were 107k, 144k, and 134k respectively. Now they're 7505, 9365, and 12530. What the fart??? I sold Apple Store and re-franchised it at 440k...just to see if it sticks. Figure at this point didn't have much to lose. I have 17 Weebo's that are taking up about 1/3rd of my town. If they're not going to pay off I wanna clear the land and make it pretty...but I'm afraid to get rid of them in case this is just a glitch. I went with the Weebo's because when I found out about the fabulous stack-a-ma-roo on this awesome board...I already had the VIP Theatre, Playboy Mansion and Football Stadium. Plus...I manage a sports bar...so it's kinda fun having little sports arenas all over town. Oh....how stressful this all is...lol. Don't mind me...I just wanted to vent. You guys are the only ones that understand me right now. *sigh* Stars Hollow 31031000

Hi all,
Well so much for my hipop businesses. Every one of them was destroyed. Gone. Obliterated. I went from millions to hundreds on popularity.
In game center I went from 22.4 million to 704k.
WTF?

This happened to me too. None of my businesses were particularly high, so I treasure every point I can get. My highest business is ~850. Ones that were at 500 shrunk to 300. Ones that were at less than 300 shrunk to double digits. Some Re even single digits! I'm crushed. There goes my business income. So if you want cheap businesses, come and get em!

Same thing over here. My local businesses that were already at a low pop (but since I've had them the longest are high levels) have all dropped into single digits pop. I dont know if I should sell them and start over *sigh*

Is it worth selling businesses that have gone down in value and quickly franchising them again from Mayors that haven't upgraded yet? Or is the whole thing an unanswerable mystery?! I just sold NASA and rebought it from Wonderland to see what happens. So far it worked. I'll see if the popularity stays high or comes down tomorrow. The NASA pop is still at 440k. Looks like they just wiped the slate clean.

Boston, I noticed ur ranked #34 on GC, one above me lol I went from 21m pop to 400k. Funny thing is, GC still shows the pre-drop stats. Maybe it'll take a few days for the numbers to be adjusted. Here's the dilemma, what are u going to do now? Leave it as is? Or continue to chase those high pop numbers? If u choose to regain those numbers, how do u know it wont go down again with the next update? At this point, I've chosen to keep it the way it is. Yes, it sucks seeing the highest pop biz that I have now being the lowest it was when the numbers were inflated...but what does the high pop really get u, besides being ranked on GC? I could delete the business and get the same higher one but i would also be deleting the franchised % from all the franchisees of the business...basically starting from scratch and earning less. Something to think about before embarking on that high pop chase once again.
