Oh no Leilani! I think Jean-Paul posted that as well. Have you just tried doing a hard close of the app? On another note, it's nice that when you place "main" items in the beach getaway, the foundation takes on the beach sand. I think you're right about hard closing the app. In what seems to be a futile attempt at saving my battery, I always close my apps when I'm not using them. I was able to get back to the lake after that, but then I went to the beach and couldn't get back into the lake again. I really hope this is a glitch that they fix soon. It takes so darn long for the game to load, I don't want to have to keep closing it and reopening it just to go to the lake. The puzzle piece thing is similar to a feature they had in another game I had played. It was something clinic, I can't remember exactly what it was called. With that game, if I recall correctly, the collection items were somewhat random based on what you did to get them and some were much harder to get than others. At least this gives us an idea what we need to do to get them, but it would make sense that some require more effort or luck to get than others.

I was so surprised to see this, I thought they'd just add more green space to build on.

Marville - it sounds like joining on GC is required. You don't have to share your information with others if you don't want. There is a private setting you can use.
Edit - and you won't be able to return to the original MT2 app now that you have gateways.

I started using it for Dragonvale. There are some achievements in game center that aren't in MT2 and you can earn points (I think some items as well, just can't remember!) in game center. Cmeister was on the top of the leader boards for popularity for a while! Edit: Mar, you can't go back to the original MT2. Bite the bullet. We are here for you

Just so I'm clear - there doesn't appear to be a way to "Explore" anymore ... right? So city hopping can only be done by exploring friends towns or by deleting the app and reinstalling?
And as for Booyahtopia and buying businesses for $1 buck ... that's history as well ... right?
My oh my. I really do feel sorry for new players, to Kiwi's post from yesterday.

Haven't found a way to explore, other than friends and neighboring towns that come up in the social list. Booyahtopia is not listed.

Been away for a long time. Still lurk around. Do not care for the new update. How can new players get very far? Even if they have found our forum
Update on my sister who is sick. Tumors shrinking a little. Still very sick and suffering. Anyone heard from yarn goddess? I think of her all of the time. So much suffering in the world. Sorry to be a downer.

So yesterday I accidently deleted the new mt2 getaway app instead of the old one! (der!). Luckily when i re-installed it my old town was still there (thank god!). But all the things I had bought in mt2 getaways had completely gone! I spent a fair few coins clearing lands aswell! I'm hoping booyah will be able to get it back for me!
