Katie - when you deleted the app, did you say to "keep" all your data? I don't remember seeing that option. All I remember it saying was my position in the game centre would be lost, or something like that! I had an email from booyah saying someone should get back to me within 96 hours. I'm not starting any work on my lakeside incase they can help me  |

After the last update 4.0.1.69:223 , if you want to help others by franchising his/her businesses , you have to follow all this steps : - Start - Menu - Social -  >>  - Social - Loading towns - Chose the friend town -  >>  - Travelling (What the ...?) - Wait for the town to load -  >>  - Finally! Town loaded! - Search for the business you want to franchise - Pay the bucks/coins  >>  - Travelling again  ! - The business is ready to be built in your town - Build the business!  >>  >>  Man! Somebody at Booyah got a salary rise for this! I did a town with only 13 businesses and it took me the amount of time I "spent" doing a town with 20 businesses in it, after the update |

Kon - Thank you so much for sharing this information. The RHs have been handicapped for sure. I really do applaud you for all the work you and the other RHs do ... this MTGetaways is a game changer in a lot of ways, but this is the first direct impact on the RHs (intentional or not) since I've joined the forum.
Members can really help by making sure their town names, ID #s, and Level are in their signature. Without these 3 things, what you just explained in your post can take even longer because RHs are searching and searching for a town.

I'm not starting any work on my lakeside incase they can help me This is an FYI for anyone deleting the old app - you can hit keep or remove. It won't make a difference. For the new game, if you are deleting to do a location change, you need to hit the keep button.  Katie- I know yours was accidental, and Booyah will most likely give you some reimbursement coins/bucks. Let us know how it turns out for you, OK! |

I don't understand the need to go through all the extra steps for franchising in the new 4.0.1.69:223 update. Like the RHs weren't spending enough time franchising as they were. I'm starting to think it's Booyah's way of scaling back the franchises being done by the RHs and just players for that matter. "Hmmm...if we make it longer for them to franchise then maybe they will stop doing it so much." Minimizing damage so to speak. Or maybe I'm just over thinking it and a new improved, IMPROVED update will come out next wk and the time it takes to franchise goes back to normal again. On a side note, I'm surprised it took them about 5 months to finally fix the STW glitch. Wonder how big of a hit they took in lost revenues because of it. But I'm sure they recuperated some of it back with the $35 bundles they were charging  . |

Marville - it sounds like joining on GC is required. You don't have to share your information with others if you don't want. There is a private setting you can use. Edit - and you won't be able to return to the original MT2 app now that you have gateways. Snibull I was wondering about this and was actually afraid to click on the old game to see what would happen! - does it just not open up? has anyone deleted it to see if it would make a difference??  hmmm wait I see you have answered the question above but was wondering if there is any need to delete the old one just let it hang out for awhile - have yu deleted yours yet?? |

I really NEED to turn off the annoying MUSIC that is playing on the getaways on my Iphone and can not figure out how to do it can not find anything in settings that would do it for this game anyone HELP please Open your stats page and then click on the little symbol in the left corner then you can turn off the music by clicking on the music note. I also turn off the sound effects. |

I think you go menu, stats, the little settings icon, then there is a button for toggling sound and another for music....

Going well. Both getaways are construction sites right now so they aren't ready for public viewing. There's a lot of building and bulldozing going on. I decided not to spend the bucks to finish the jobs. I instead got big ben to speed them a little and just letting them go.
Very relieved that I had a chance to do a lot of coin stockpiling before the update. I'm staying away from those 1000+ buck items even though I like them
And I'm working on the collections. I've got the fountain lake and the national park and I'm working on the others

Update on my sister who is sick. Tumors shrinking a little. Still very sick and suffering. Anyone heard from yarn goddess? I think of her all of the time. So much suffering in the world. Sorry to be a downer. Gina Hi Gina, Sorry that your sister is suffering so much. My daughter in Knoxville has been fighting aggressive breast cancer since February. She is returning to work today. Chemo nearly wiped her out, but did eradicate the aggressive tumor. Her chance of surviving 5 years is now 80% and she is able to move on with her life. I am in touch with Yarn Goddess privately. She got upset and quit the forum which I think is too bad. She has had many challenges but is moving on with her life and playing DragonVale. Not sure about MT Getaways. Judy |

I am trying for the last puzzle piece in the water fort collection on the lake side. The hint is telling me to expand. I bought all the land available, is there anything else I am missing?? |

Look at the very bottom piece. It would not let me buy it until all other property was finished building. Then I could buy and build. Hope that is it. |

Ok, call me cruel. I just put all the piranhas in the middle of a bunch of inner tube bums. I wonder if I can figure out a way for the bears to run amok. Or maybe get someone to tip over the outhouse? Someone say Bad Dodie and put me in timeout until I am once again a responsible homeowner

Does anyone know what I need to do to stop getting the notifications when something has finished in one of the getaways? I always opt out of notifications if given the option during installation and have double checked that everything is off in my settings. I also turned all the sounds off in the game, but I'm still getting an audible alert from the game.

Leilani - go to your stats and next to your name on the left will be an icon for settings. Once in there, you can change what you want!  Sorry Leilani- you may have done that already. Check your notification settings on your phone (settings --> notifications) if you already did the settings in the game. |

Thanks Snibull. It never occurred to me to look in the phone settings. I play the Simpsons Tapped Out and was getting silent notifications from that too. Turns out they were both in the notifications list on the phone, so I turned them both off. +1 for fixing both my problems |
