Since I cannot get the wheel to win no matter what I try (and others are having the same problem), I want to find out if the type of device you're using has any effect on winning or losing. If you've won, please select the device you're using; if you've lost, just check the "Can't Win" box. Thank you!

I am using an ipod 4th generation. Could not win for the life of me until I updated my ipod in the itunes. Now, it works wonderfully.

I play mine on my iphone 4 with the latest software update.
Its works and I have excellent result using the technique Jenny and Konstantin posted.

I'm an iPhone 4 as well - all updates done - have done well since Constantine's last tutorial (pre vid) I'd say moderately good winnings as I think it hangs up a bit at times and the noise won't shut off - have to shut mt2 right down and reboot game - Lots of levels - 100,000 free spins+ - moderate on coin and bucks  enough to keep me very happy and a start for clearing new land! I find STW rather tricky. While I managed to get it working once or twice it's really hard to duplicate. It's either I let go too soon or I hold on for an extra second. Also just want to point out that there is no iPad 4th gen, not yet anyway  |

First gen iPad here, had a bit of trouble getting the hang of the timing. But now its smooth sailing. I wish I could simply state what I do to get it to work.... But others have said it about as well as it can be written out in steps. it's tricky, but once you get it to work, it's quite fun. It's just the 'hold down until the last tumbling icon stills on the line, then release and re-tap immediately(!!)' that happens so quickly that it's hard to communicate without seeing it happen for yourself. It's also hard if you have any sort of lag going on for whatever reason. Which I've had happen and completely destroy STW sessions. I'm using an iPhone 4 with the most recent update (finally, that did fix my camera edit features!).
***edit: STW works fine for me. Konstantin's first written instructions definitely worked for me after about 20 spins and a lot of ughs!

Make sure you're running the latest version of iOS, Mom! Yes, I am. The problem is that I can't always (in fact, rarely) can get the button to catch the first time I press it. I think I could get the timing down just fine, but when the button doesn't catch the first time you hit it, it sort of defeats the purpose. I was wondering if anybody else using a 1st gen iPad has that problem, too. Ocean just pointed out to me that there is no 4th gen iPad. Duh. Maybe if I were thinking straight these days, I would have realized that. Sorries. |

i use ipad 2 while gf is using iphone 4 and the STW glitch is working for the both of us. we just followed the instructions konstantin gave in the thread and all went well. i mean gf is having a good time with it. with all th bucks, she's been constantly shopping for her town. |

Aw5678 - it is possible that this "lag" is produced because you have many apps running in background? Try to kill all your apps in the Task and see if you note any difference (let MT2 use all available memory) @yarn Goddess -forget about "as fast as possible" from my older posts. You have enough time to press and hold that button WHILE THE WHEELS ARE STILL SPINNING and the green numbers still change !!! With calm and patience you'll do it ! Edit: Yarn G have you tried with the "red ball" ? Who knows, it might work better.

Mine is a 3rd generation iPod Touch and ever since I was shown the "bounce" screen shot int he STW forum (page 11), I've been almost perfect with the technique

I use an iPhone 4 with iOS 5.1.1 , it works fine for me every time!
I find press once and then again a split second after and hold until the third reel starts to slow down, providing its a win then let go and press again when you hear the jingle (not the win jingle but the one before)

Hiya, I use the third gen iPad, iPhone 4 and they work fine before this latest update with mt2. Now I don't win as often as I used to. But it still works, just not as fast.

I have the IPOD touch. It is bt 1.5 years old.. (3rd)?
I just found out that the computer your supposed to synch it to that you have used in the past, the ole laptop, all the USB ports non of them work so I cont synch and update at all. That is why I was having so much trouble in the past with same issues. There was more damage done. So, I am stuck with a laptop that I will just use for browsing. Any ideas or suggestions???
Q. If I just bought a little tiny new cheap laptop, Can I synch it to that new laptop? What all will have I have to go about changing in ITUNES, etc to be able to do this/that? How bad will it screw with me?
Yall get what I mean?
Anyway, I might not be doing the STW tricks right, I have not won much.....I have wond some population, Coins 1200, 4600, and a couple free spins....that about it.....
But, I don't know what about how much people are winning....like thousands of $$$. hundreds of free spins....?

I noticed after your visits to P'ville, it is all jerky and hangs momentarily until I shake all those hands. Sometimes STW hiccups before the last wheel stops. But it doesn't seem to make any difference how much stuff I have. I think at this point, I am pretty consistent in the way that I do it. None-the-less, my results vary quite a bit from day to day. Sometimes I get as many losers as winners and sometimes the winners are small amounts. But other days, it works really well. |

Is it just me or stw getting a little bit boring? I have 170,000 free spins and plenty of bucks. The best thing is I can now help others and have become a bit of a Robin Hood! No big coin wins though and I have never won any of the top prizes. Has anyone got three gold bars?

Seems to me I remember a pic in the other STW thread of a big win - I must admit I did a bit of spinning for some coin to help clear land but never got big amounts - enough bucks to do a bit of micro franchising which is fun and feels good to do!
