I've now got a new 2 Gen iPad which doesn't play anything as well as my iPhone4! I have the latest updates and I'm running iOS 5.1.1.
I'm one of the original players and have helped many others to get the hang of it so I know what I'm doing. This concludes me to believe that not all the machines run at the same pace regardless of what your playing on and even when you have the latest version running and nothing else playing in the background. Ive read others here sre using 2 Gen and winning really well.
I can win masses of bucks, coins, xp and pop on my iPhone. So much so that I can franchise ppl no problem and can recoupe my bucks easily. On my iPad I get masses of xp, in 3 days I've got to level 70 lol in a new town. I've also got masses of pop but bucks and coins are very slow payouts. I might get the odd 5000 buck win, which is fantastic but I mostly just go up slowly in small amounts. Fantastic for my own town but not the kind of money I can franchise with.
So the top and bottom is, it just doesn't pay out everything for everyone regardless of what you play on. Kech plays on iphone4s and can't get xp on his... The game doesn't play equally in each town.
I'm wondering if there is a 'bad' spot on the 1Gen pad being used and not paying out at all. You do need to play it for a good 30/60 mins at a time to get the best from the payouts as ive said before the wins finally accumulate foe a much bigger win after aproximately 4 buck wins. It takes 5/8 spins to get a buck win so you can see how you need to stick with it to eventually get some nice wins in bucks and coins especially if your game doesn't pay big like some others. Perhaps the pad underneath that spot is worn and I mean under the screen perhaps this is why it's not catching and spinning. Again maybe if you could dedicate an hour to it like you would the job blitzing you might still accumulate some wins.
Good luck everyone. Oh and I found after franchising myself to give my town 200 bucks to spin with, that after about 50 bucks I already had enough free spins accumulating that I was not paying for any spins.
