Kech, I got the caterpillar with nature and mining. It was purely dumb luck because I was really looking for a combo for frankenbot, but my computer was off so I just threw in 2 bots that I hadn't tried before.

Hi Kech,

That's a lot of questions for my 71 year old mind. Let's see.

The bots get much bigger, but I'm not sure when. My level 14 Grinder is huge! At your level, it's hard to have enough snax. Once you get Grinder, you will start piling up snax if you are willing to spend 2 Crystals to fight often.

I have won 2 Crystals in the Arena today, fairly close together. I was surprised both times.

Edit: The Arena crystals come from goals the game sets for you. I haven't figured out how often they give us this.

I'm pretty sure I used Carrier + Mining to get Grinder. I didn't know how important Grinder was at the time, or I would have paid attention.

Not sure how I got Caterpiller. Mining + Mole should work. Caterpiller has a 24 hour breed time. I realize Mining is pooh at 18 hrs.

I'm just back from running errands and have some activities this afternoon, but I'll check in from time to time.

I don't blame you. I'm convinced I wouldn't have been able to do it if I were trying and I definitely wouldn't be able to do it again no matter how many times I tried.

Just started breeding my first baby, it's a 4 hr breed so has to be a carrier from what I have read. My Question is, do we keep 2 of each robot, or just the one? My park is earning 0 cash while these two breed. My goal is to keep making 5 snax at a time, level each robot to 5, and then start trying for this limited robot before the 12th. Right? Still not sure about this arena fighting thing. I need a list like we have for the DV races. But, that is for another time as I am only at level 7.

Good questions, Judy. We think one of each dragon is enough for now, though you will want to mostly fill up your zones for earning purposes. Early bots get only 1,000 when you cash them in, but later ones will earn more.

The arena for fighting comes later and is more important in this game than the race track in DV. For now, leveling up to 5 is fine. Do the fast snacks while you are actively playing, as they give the best return.

I can say more about Arena fighting. You will be putting 2 bots into the arena. The first bot is the most important. It will be good if you can afford the gizmo that indicates an advantage for fighting, usually only 1 of the 5 available.

When the fight starts, your bots will each strike a blow, followed by the opposing bots. You will see which side is stronger by who gets knocked out first. Once your first bot is knocked out, if the other side has 2, you will usually lose, as it's 2 strikes against 1. The dreaded Grinder bot seems to beat everyone in his path. Kech has some strategies for him.

Now that I have a Grinder, I put him in the first position and win every fight. Almost boring, but it is lucrative. I am spending real cash to buy Crystals to feed my GN addiction. It has been a lot of fun.

Thx Judy, good to know we can win crystals in the arena. I haven't won one yet but it's nice to know BFS is helping us along in that area. I used ur combo and got a grinder! Yay!!

I'm mowing down the competition with my beat/rock combo in the arena but unfortunately they're already maxed out at 100%. I'm starting to use other combos to build up their earning power but they're nowhere near as powerful as the beat/rock. I hate having to spend 3500 to compete and come out with nothing if I lose.

The short term goal is to get all my bots (excluding the duplicates) to level 9..I like them big! . Level 14 will have to wait.

I hope they come out with a "gem tree". 3 crystals/day is simply too little. I now have an official rotating gifting list. For those I haven't gifted today, I will get to u tomor.

I bought the $1.99 package last night and bought the frankenbot. Thought he was "expiring"... Lol but he'll be around for 2 more weeks.

I haven't "bred" a robot yet... Not sure how I feel about that whole process...

Right now I'm just clicking around and following the goals. I like how they have the goals and you can click on it to actually do what it's asking. Was DV like that? If it was, I didn't notice.

And do they have a "grid" while "moving" things around? I thought I saw white lines on the grass as a grid. Very neat.

Edit: Ok, I just played some- you can help others speed up stuff?! Thanks for all those crystals and help speeding things up. I am going to have to go back to the beginning and read the tips/hints.

I just reached the level for the breeding lab. No wonder why I didn't know how to do it, I didn't have the right stuff... Lol. And I didn't have enough land cleared to place it.

Nice going, Kech. You can use your Grinder as lead bot, and move the backup bot up in earning power. I don't think I've lost a battle with Grinder in first. It costs 170,000 to fight now, so I'm not taking any chances. Meanwhile, all my bots are +100%.

I agree that we would benefit from a Gifting Tree or the bot version. I'd like to give more Crystals.

I'm using 15 of 19 available Zones, and have room to deploy whatever bot comes out of incubation for the brief moments before they are sold. I don't see a reason to have more Zones right now. I'm waiting on this for the game to develop. I have an empty Astro zone. I try for Astro about 10 times a day. No sign of one. I'm not getting Topaz in DV either.

I can't get excited about decorating my space station. I've bought the decorations that interest me. I have my zones kind of clustered. It helps to have the fast maturing zones, Builder and Repair, close to the Arena so I can collect often.

So, Kech, you've made it to level 12. If you put your Repair bot behind another bot, you will see him heal the front bot. Doesn't matter much with Grinder, but it's fun to see.

Since Franken is time limited, is there a better combo for him than builder-performer? I decided to just work on him in the breeding lab.

Thank you for all the crystal and time help, it is really appreciated. I discovered last night to gift one crystal at a time and then wait for it to appear back in the goals list, thereby giving you an extra goal crystal.

The other thing I noticed has to do with the Performer Zone. You can buy the regular zone that holds 2 bots for 500 cash or the bigger zone which only holds 3 bots for 5000 cash? I'm sorry but that math surely needs rethinking. I decided to keep 2 small zones for 1000 and have it hold 4 bots. Love the expansion aspect. Just made level 9 and bought that first one.

Judy, that's a good idea...using the grinder as the lead bot. Fought 2 battles with him leading the charge and won both of them convincingly ;D. I'll get the other bots up to 100% in no time with this strategy. 170k to battle is ridiculous . It's costing me 8500 to battle right now but what irks me is winning the battle and getting 3000, some snax and XPs as the reward....doesn't seem too profitable.

Snibull, there are Halloween related decorations too...oh and they're animated! ;D. Pretty cool. They will probably be gone the same time Frankie leaves so purchase a couple of those if u have the Robux . I'm not too big of a fan of the grids...yea, it's different but it sucks having to move ur items to accommodate the new space every time u expand. For this reason, i haven't been decorating my station much...just bunching things together for now.

Mrs Judy, I got Frankie with builder/performer. Judy discovered the breeding sandbox for gizmo, it's basically the same format as the one they use for DV: www.2084.org/gizmonauts/breeding-sandbox/. Interesting that the "gift goal" returned for u. I normally gift all 3 at once so when the goal comes back, it's usually for the next day. So u basically gifted one then wait, gifted a second then wait...? When did u gift and how long did u wait before u gifted for the goal to return again? U may have discovered a way to get 3 crystals/day instead of just one!

Kech, I've noticed the same thing with the gifting goal. It's happened a couple times, but I can't tell you how long it was before I got it again. I wish the # of available gifts would go back to 3 if you did it one at a time, but I know that's a fantasy glitch.

Yesterday morning when I first got the game, I gifted all three at once. The goal was back later that afternoon. So gifted only 1 at midnight and the goal was again back this morning when I started the game. Not sure the time between, wasn't really thinking that far ahead, lol. Could be that is just a short term thing for new players since I am only 1 day old so to speak.

Hmmm...not sure what to make of all this I gifted all 3 this morning and the gifting goal has returned. It's been this way since I've started with this game. I'm going to try to gift 1 friend tonight at midnight and wait til tomorrow morning to gift the 2nd one and see what happens. If it's a glitch, we should exploit it to the limit! ;D

Do u guys have any preferences in speeding things up? When I visit ur stations, the first thing I look for is the breeding lab. I know everyone wants help with that . If that option isn't there, I look for zones that need to be sped up. Finally, the battle arena is the last thing I look for if the first 2 options aren't available. Those are my preferences when u guys visit . What are yours so I know how to help speed things along.

The reason I'm listing Snax last is that I still have an abundance from my many battles and it suits me to have them maturing evenly.

Judy, Congratulations on reaching Level 9 so quickly! I too refused to upgrade zones at first. Later, when cash is easier to come by, you can upgrade for XP and the earning power of another bot. There was a phase where I barely had enough room for new bots and kept selling secondary ones. Then I learned there is no current value in having 2 of anything since they can't breed. If they give us another breeding station, this will change if we want to have more opportunities to get limited edition bots.

I paid 25 Crystals for my Franken bots. But then, I have dumped a lot of money in the game. None today so far, though.
