Hey everyone,
So other than Mytown2 im addicted to Dragonvale, does anyone else play? I need a solid few friends on mylist to gift gems to every day. My islands are also pretty pimped out, so come take a gander, and i love seeing peoples creativity.
The only annoying bit is to add a friend you have to do it through gamecenter...but i figure adding people from here is better than searching for strangers on the dragonvale wiki postings!

BUMP This is for kech and ocean. A woman posted this photo in the dragonvale wiki comments area...apparently her daughter loves to look at the eggs so she bought the 1500 ish gems for $50 so she could produce....this.  |

In other news...i just got my first emerald dragon! I prolly spent 15$ in gems to rush breeding to get the little butthead...and little he is!  see my island for yourself...im gonna keep trying to breed more to fill the gem island with and sell them as more are released (if i can even do that) and i wanna put their eggs on display. Theyre sparkly. |

wow that's crazy!  that's some serious dedication right there! i currently have 4 of those lol. looks like she's missing the bone, leapyear and reindeer. congrats on the emerald! working on my 2nd one ;D thx for posting it arch, never seen something like that before +1  |

I really like that backflip leaves the limited dragons up long enough so that most people that really try will get one. With mt2 i lost my town from the st pats update...and by the time they fixed it, the st pats stuff was off the darn market |

that's the cool thing about seasonal items...it basically tell others how long you've been playing. my first limited dragon was the sakura so i started pretty late.
i try to get at least 2 of each, regardless of whether it's a reg, hybrid, limited, or rare. this way if i need a crystal/lichen for the emerald for example...i can breed both pairs in the EBI and RBC at once. increase my chances and not having to wait for one to be done ;D

Thanks for posting the pic, Arch! I saw it on the wiki but didn't read the comments figured it was just another jail broken device. She even has the emerald egg and you can't even breed them with one another Congrats to you and Kech on hatching your Emeralds I'm still working on that little bastard lol Didn't you start playing around the same time as me? You forgot the Bloom  the prettiest dragon in DV. Oh and way to rub it in! You know I don't have a second lichen  |

Hmmm never heard of this so off to seek it out.
Being in China gives one an added affinity to dragons, and I thought they were cute back in my Neopets days LOL

I have downloaded it twice yet still cannot get in. Is there something I don't know? (of course there are many things I don't know ;D what I mean is, what do I need to know / do to get in). |

If the Game Center is down so is Dragonvale. I run into this problem at least 2-3 times a week. Just try again later and it should work. |

Hmm ive never had any problems with DV, but i find its been laggy for the last while.. Choco...they even have a dragon to honor the chinese year of the dragon i have a ton of that one i love it! My favourite dragon is the Sakura, hence why i have so many hehe although i have to say the emerald is a close 2nd. Too bad we missed april-- we wouldve got a DIAMOND dragon! Cant wait to see that one. I find the dragons have been getting progressively better. I mean, look at all the forms of clover, then bloom, then sakura, then butterfly and emerald...and compare them to the forms of the grass and fire dragons haha |

I notice I don't get any gems while leveling at all.. And am tight in rl money as I need to pay bills first then my sons birthday in 2 weeks. Thanks. You get 1 gem when someone gifts you but the best source is the colosseum. Your dragons compete there and can win a gold medal which gives 5 gems, silver is 2 and bronze only gives some dragon cash. Also once you manage to breed an Emerald dragon it will give 1 gem per week at lvl 10. I'm Eresh7 on game center if anyone wants to add me. |

Hey shar, that's correct. U cannot breed gem dragons with anything, not even themselves. It's BFS way of keeping those gem payouts at a minimum. U can breed more than one emerald the hard way tho (crystal/lichen). The gem island houses 4 habitats (3 dragons each), so technically u can have 12 emeralds on there. That's impossible, unless u have a jailbroken device with unlimited gems  . |

What they mean is you can't breed gem dragons with one another but you can still get the Emerald by breeding Lichen + Crystal. You have to use special dragon combos for the rare and limited dragons.
