When I opened up MT2 this morning, I was going to move my newly purchased crop circles and alien crash to my farm. I found that all my farms were invisible. I thought maybe by deleting the app and re-adding it might fix it, (it has worked for me before with other invisible items) but nooooo. Instead, my farms were still invisible but to add to my immediate horror... I lost $750 bucks that I have been saving up for my castle!!! I lost a good chunk of change too! I was such a numb-nut! I so need to remember to take regular screen shots to have as proof of my stash!! Lesson painfully learned  |

Rats and mice. I planned to have a go at the scary time / location travel BEFORE updating so if I lost everything I would still have access to money making opportunities. Now when I open the game it tells me I must update before I can log in  No other app has done that to me before. You can choose to stay on an older version if you want to. Baskets. I don't like being made to do things. I like choices. *mutters to self* |

I wonder if they did this to prevent people from losing their towns? Shotgunstina lost her town when she location-changed without updating.

Yes. This has really irked me. With the stacking not working as well as before, I've gone from collecting £35m to £55k on one busniess.
Perhaps this is the push I needed to raze my SEs and change my businesses back to their correct skins. It'd sure as hell free up a bucketload of space!

I had lost my town to during a location switch. I deleted the old version and loaded the new one... Then my town was gone. I did get it back though.

I need everyone's expertise...
My Ipad2 got disabled for 3 days, backed up all my apps before restoring it so I can use it again... I was able to use my ipad2 today already, when I opened my mytown2 game and my game was reverted back from the very start!
Does this mean I lost my game's progress already?
Will I be able to retrieve my game's progress, still?
What will I do to retrieve my game's progress?
I tried to check How my town looks from a friend's mytown2 game, and my entire town is still intact though (at level 60) ..
I wrote booyah re my concern already, but I haven't got any reply yet.
Hoping there is someone in the forum who can help me... Please.

It may have given you a new Booyah ID.

this happened to my sister during the latest update (i'll never forget the terror in her eyes!). she contacted booyah and they were able to restore her original town but it took a few days! when you contacted booyah, did you send your old and new town ID#? They'll need both..sucks but you'll be fixed soon! good luck!!! |

At first I freaked out a little, but I wrote Booyah, and than, I started playing that new town. Before I know it, I got to level 10 and than level 13 before Booyah fixed it. I was a little sad to see that town go , but I was happy that I got my hard earned town back . Maybe you could play on the new town while waiting for Booyah to respond? May bring back old memories. |

Hi Kate!
It is possible for us to transfer your town for you. To do this I need the 8 number My Town 2 ID of the town on your older device and the 8 number My Town 2 ID of the new town on your new device. This can be found under your iOS Device settings under the My Town 2 tab. If you no longer have the ID of your old device try asking if any friends who play to visit your old town (they should be able to see the ID). Once you provide me this information, please delete the application off of your new device. I will then transfer your town for you, and after you receive the confirmation from me, you may then redownload the game again (and it will pull your old town).

Hello!
We have completed the transfer of your game to your new device. Please delete the application and then redownload and install. This should pull your old town onto your new device. If you have any issues with your town, please let us know.
