What do you guys think? I have been reding the boards... Some of you love it but it has caused many many problems.... To buy or not to buy? Thoughts? I am super greedy with the green bucks, honestly I wouldn't have Ny if it weren't for permanent, chili, and candy land ( you all rock the big one by the way)... So I am super duper scared to throw down everything I have been "gifted" on a wonder that's not all it should be. Everyone share! Ps - wtf does the Shinto shrine do? Are we all total losers for not buying in early? Pps.. And what does the casino do? That one confuses me too.... Sorrry it's late and I drank wine

Just curious. What problems has it caused?
I want Mt. Fuji bad but I am waiting for the St. Patrick's Day items to come out first as there may be better items to spend bucks on.

My problem with the Fuji: my businesses are all in the upper corner, and when I shaked ( I am talking about the 2 days try they gave us), all went well, but to click again on the very high situated businesses I had to zoom in totally to be able to get there, since my screen was shaking out of the view, and it took me a lot of time to get to touch the businesses....thats why I think I dont buy the Fuji...anybody got the same problem?

I still have the same problem sometimes with the upper corner zoom problem. It is definitely annoying, but it is better than clicking each business and risking hitting the business upgrade button. I have done that too many times! I am glad to have it, and I recommend the purchase if you have the bucks. does it mean that once you shake your device, the coins spread out and after you dont need to click on the businesses to make them work again for the next round?...when I tried it out for the 2 days, after shaking I still had to click on every business anyway, to make them work again...if I dont need to touch the businesses anymore at all, I would buy the Fuji of course....

No, you would still have to tap each business. It would be cool if they up with a way that you wouldn't have to.
I just bought Fuji. I had almost 1,500 coins so I caved.

It was a 'must get' wonder for me. I have more than 50 businesses and residential buildings so it was starting to be a pain tapping on each one to collect coins. Although u still have to tap on each business to set ur jobs after the explosion, Mt Fuji cut the tapping time in half for me. So very useful IMHO.

I love how Mt. Fuji looks and its animation. I think it's a must have for any serious MT2 player because it saves so much time! I collect $$ in half the time now.

I had this same problem. However if I exited the game ( on an I device, in my case an iPad) I completely closed the application an then relaunched it and the zoom problem was gone and I had control of the screen again. Let me know if this helps.

Was thinking the cons outweighed the pros of the getting it due to the screen malfunction but I couldn't pass it up. Funny thing was, after the trial period expired, the bouncing glitch went away. Mt Fuji is definitely recommended for those who don't have it.

Everybody should own Mt. Fuji. In a vaccuum, it is of course overpriced by Booyah's standards (as someone else quoted, "the green buck equivalent of $65 USD). But you are part of this community and you have Robin Hoods to help you get there. So the price can't be the reason not to get it. The only real reason would be, "it's just not worth it and I'm not gonna use it." But it IS worth it, and you WILL get used to using it.
*NOTE: This is one man's opinion. Mt. Fuji isn't for everyone but I do believe the vast majority of players will find it (and have found it) beneficial.
Awhile ago, Licat posted this question and I gave 5 reasons to get it and 5 reasons not to get it. I won't repeat them here, but since then I've grown fond of the smoky mountain so I will give an overview.
I like the eruption animation; I like the rumbling effect; I like the quick and easy coin collection and I have no problem with having to tap to reset jobs (c'mon people, do you seriously want a wonder that PLAYS THE GAME FOR YOU?); I like avoiding that horrible buck upgrade button; and I LOVE the regal look of the mountain (the game's ONLY natural wonder).
There's a few issues with it besides the having to zoom in to get to the top of the screen. I hate the screen randomly turning upside down sometimes when I shake my device; I hate that sometimes I have to shake harder than other times and there have even been cases where the mountain didn't work and I had to reboot the game; and I hate that there are weird moments when the coins apparently don't get added to your total (though I've never noticed this personally, others have commented on it). Mind you, top of screen issue aside, these are RARE occurences.
Taken together, the decision is easy: you should buy it. It is highly convenient, it adds a new element to gameplay, it saves a lot of time, and they did a great job with the graphics and animation on it.
Nobody has bought it and sold it back that I've heard of.
That should tell you something.
Oh, and to answer the shrine and casino question:
The shrine gives +12,500 population.
The casino does absolutely nothing. "Haha!" No, I'm serious. It really doesn't do a damn thing, it is proof that Booyah hates us, and you have to spend $4 to buy it. Get it only for the look, and PM me if you want a full explanation.

Yes, I did buy Mt. Fuji, for all the reasons that BB has outlined. The graphics are just so well-done, it's a great addition to my town.

I had this problem too but since the updates last night it's been completely fine There isn't a great deal to buy from the St Patricks stuff so I'd buy the mountain. One shake and it collects all your coins and no worrying about accidentally using your prescious bucks finishing jobs etc. Let us know what you get. I'm one franchise away from buying the Statue of Liberty! Thanks to all the lovely ppl that have franchised and gifted bucks!
