Thanks so much to all the Robin Hood's who helped me along the way. When I came here I was wondering how I would ever buy all my land much less gain levels and buy items. Everyone was so helpful and the forum is such a wealth of information regarding how to advance via tips and tricks. I finally got the hang of them! I'm sure my town will go through multiple renovations, but for now, it's done! I can be on my way to helping others even though I'm still at level 74. If the STW continues to be good to me, I can now lend a helping hand to newbies...yea! Check out my town...I sure like the new fall tree as you'll see...

Congrats! Your town looks great! =D Thanks Kitsunelady, it's almost a let down and feels strange to be at this stage. But lots more fun to come...

Your town looks great, Frisky. Lots of green space.... I just finished buying land, but unfortunately have too much stuff and too little money. My storage is full, too. The 'Robin Hoods' helped me a lot with bucks . I had done all the Wong things with purchasing businesses, but eventually was able to get 6 with high popularity. Also learned to do the time travel thing....but had to spend hours tapping to earn enough for that 3 and 4 million coin land! Now my dilemma is what items to purge ( maybe the little houses and the local businesses). I guess I need to calculate how much more I can make on a French Laundry restaurant than a Winstead's . And I suppose I should buy some of the mansions and get rid of cabins and bungalows. I think I have enough wonders...but maybe I should get rid of the Hot Springs and the Metro Fashion Museum that I have in storage. To keep playing, I wanted to be able to rotate items in and out for different seasons and moods. Don' t think that's possible with just 20 storage spaces.. . Would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks.

Aw jhii that is so hard - personally I like the local touches - I only have 4 businesses that make the max in a franchise (depending on where franchiser is located) ! I love the towns with funky businesses and cool themed areas - like the seasonal items!!! You should keep your population at about 1.5 to support your 36 business spaces - but could get rid of housing - keeping a eye on population!!!! You will also get answers 100% different from mine!!!! Lol Oh and I love the wacky towns too!

If its something that is most likely a permanent fixture in the store, such as the two wonders you have in storage, and you need the space, I'd get rid of that sort of thing first. o.o You can always buy it again later!

Frisky, your town looks great - very pretty! It looks like you put a lot of time and thought into placing everything. I will be happy when I can declutter my own town! I am getting close, thanks to this forum. I also want to thank you for visiting my town.

You're welcome catintex. It does take a lot of thought but I'm seeing its always going to be a work in progress. I've already added my little zoo area! Yes, jhiii, it is difficult to purge a town. I got rid of things that I ended up wanting later...felt wasteful... Be sure to keep your moneymakers around long enough to rack up some coins and green bucks. That was the hardest for me. I wanted to keep getting the high rent but all those globes and ND's were in my way. And, you are right, 20 spaces fill up way too fast. But once it's done it feels like such an accomplishment! Of course I'm still working my way to level 75 and maybe renovating a few businesses. And, for some reason I don't have my full limit of businesses, they don't fit into my type of town. It's all fun!

Aw jhii that is so hard - personally I like the local touches I would agree. The local touches are really the only way a visitor know's where you're from. The first thing I do when I visit somewhere is look for low-pop businesses, which normally give away actual location.

That's a good idea. I should add back some of my local businesses. Like I said, there will be many renovations!
