As I said in Sequel thread knowing where someone comes from makes them more "real". Also with our international forum and different time zones it's fun to imagine us all going on with our lives! My idea is to share "town" (or general area if not comfortable giving town name) - "country" and "population" of where we come from Link to city site! What a cool idea! Thanks! Chat Is Welcome

I live in the suburbs of St. Louis, Missouri. Home of the 2011 World Series Champions and soon to be 2012 Champion. St. Louis is also home of the Rams and the Blues, the Arch (my husband would jokingly tell people it was a McDonald arch and people actually believed him) and one of the largest metropolitan city parks in the US. (more than double the size of Central Park). We also Don't have to buy much bottled water since we have the cleanest, tastiest water. (ok in the last 10 years we were only 1st once, but we do consistently rate as one of the best) And of course, home of Budweiser and their Clydesdales. The farm for the horses is open to the public. One of my favorite things to do is see the babies each spring. St. Louis is not without problems but it is a great place to live. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Louis

Beautiful Coeur d' Alene, Idaho, pop 37,000. Near the Canadian border and yes, it does snow here! Built on gorgeous Lake Coeur d' Alene, a definite tourist attraction! Autumn colors are flaming in our yard right now...and it's getting cold...brrrr! I'm not a winter person but the beauty is breathtaking. I don't know how to link...

Phoenix, AZ (Valley of the Sun) – but truly a native New Yorker It is the 6th largest city of the US- 1.5 million according to the 2010 US Census Bureau data. (Raven -5000?...hmmm) Best known for the Grand Canyon- one of the natural wonders of the world, golf courses, spas & resorts, hiking and of course the desert heat since it is part of the Sonoran Desert. Summers average high is typically over 100 °F (38 °C) and reaches 100 or higher an average of 110 days a year. (Summer is typically 110!) But it is a dry heat! Ha Phoenix became the 48 state of the union 100 years this Valentine’s day!! We do not observe Day Light Savings time. I was born and currently live in Indianapolis, Indiana. Indianapolis is known as the Crossroads of America and the Circle City. Of course, most people know the Indianapolis 500 and the Indianapolis Colts with our new quarterback Andrew Luck. It's a very sports oriented city and Hoosiers love their basketball. Well, I'm not very into it, but I'll get excited if we have a winning season. Anyway, we're entering into one of the most beautiful seasons of the year. The leaves are turning and we have had our first frost. From the link below I see Indianapolis has a population of about 829,000 but it has a small town feel. We are known for our Hoosier hospitality. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indianapolis

I'm about a half hour north of Boston. I won't say the name of the city, but odds are if your from anywhere near here you've heard the rhyme about it being the city of sin. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Massachusetts
