I have " Gap kids " business in my town and yesterday I decided to search for " Gap kids " again. The result came up just one result, so this means it should be the same as the one I owned. Just out of my curiosity, I decided to purchase the business and I don't know why ..... Booyah allowed me to own it, so I ended up with 2 " Gap Kids " stores in my town. Is this normal? It s taking much longer than usual. A friend of mine bought a business more than 24 hours ago and it is still not showing up. I made sure she hard closed the app yesterday. It seems to have been like that for at least the past few weeks. |

A bit of clarification, You can have the same business multiple times, but NOT at the same address, itown has a great example of this with all the apple stores, but each one is at a different address. I have also seen someone rename an address to another business name, but if you already have that address you can't purchase it again even with a different name.

Portlandjo, the server is not updated so I cannot see both businesses. There is a thread (attached below) where this was discussed. There are 2 variations of a business where the name and address is the same, the only difference is the pop. I have only noticed it on the “popular” businesses such as Apollo, Saks Fifth Ave, and French Laundry etc. Could be that someone played with the codes, so it is odd that this particular business is affected, especially since it appears you bought it from the Booyah store. mytown2.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=general&thread=569&page=1#ixzz27V4pQuwd |

yeah, but the problem is that it's exactly the same because i checked both of them and they have the exact same address, so I didn't really know what happened. How do you rename the name? I did have a iPod touch at one point which had mt2 on it but i wanted to start fresh when I bought my iPhone, sort of a challenge for me and it turned out I like this one so much better. Sadly I sold my iPod thanks to my new phone so that town is history. |
