1.) Nicer things that can be bought for hard cash. I don't mind tipping a developer $5 or so for their hard work. Making a shake-to-collect wonder the game-equivalent of 65 real dollars is a bit much. 2.) More diverse incentives: - A small (but not insignificant) percentage bonus for leaving bought land undeveloped, or planting trees on it
- A "local business" percentage bonus so the game doesn't end up as a race to accumulate the most valuable businesses in the nearest large metro area
- Percentage bonuses for actually using roads, and using them well
- EDIT: Forgot one. A "healthy economy" percentage bonus based on the number of businesses of every category you have. +1% for having at least 1 business in each category, +2% for at least 2, etc.
3.) Rivers and streams wouldn't hurt. Exalting you for great ideas in general - those would certainly lend balance to what is a very lopsided game. I really like the use of percentage bonuses for diversification, undeveloped land, local areas, etc. It furthers the true spirit of what the game is supposed to be about. Booyah's pricing system is completely retarded. Why are they charging $100 for 160k in gold coins? Soft cash is not that hard to come by, and if a player doesn't know better and buys this, and then learns later that it's pretty easy to rack up coins, they are gonna rightfully feel like they were taken advantage of. I would rather them charge $1 for the app and have reasonable prices. $10 for 100k gold coins might be fair for a beginner. $5 for 100 green bucks might not be too unreasonable either. Angry Birds got it right - $1 for everything. $1 for whole game, $1 for mighty eagle. 100 million players equals $100 million. What Booyah does is tantamount to extortion under the guise of a "free" app. And they are probably making less money on average. /end rant I especially like #3 - I've been wanting this since I first started. I can place road spaces...why not water spaces? Let me develop my own lake and river system.

In addition. To gold for bucks, a nice feature for the game would be if you buy something for bucks, you should receive bucks back, not coins when you sell it. Is there a consistent conversion rate of coin to buck?

Bearing in mind the Casino costs real money, if Booyah want more people to spend on it they should make it more attractive.
So have it randomly paying out bucks by chance rather than it is now. Don't have it paying out extra coins at slim odds. Increase the odds and change the payout to bucks ( said as one of the few people who seems to own that wonder!)

Since I first discovered this game I always figured that Booyah was trying too hard to make a profit. They must know that charging real money for coins is ridiculous or $442 bucks for Mt. Fuji is way overpriced. They just figure more people will buy the bucks instead of waiting around to collect them. $99.99 for 160k coins is insane and I'd hate to think that even one person has opted to make that purchase. This aspect of the game I don't believe will ever change. Nonetheless I haven't spent any of my money on MT2 and unless they give me a really good reason to, I never will.
One thing I always wanted besides of course rivers and weather is to have a "Town Bulletin Board" something other players could read about your town when they visit you.
Thanks for everyone's hard work on this forum.

I wish we could check into all of our owned businesses at once. If you have 20 to 30 businesses, you waste about five minutes of lightning bolt time just to check into them all manually. It would be cool if Booyah could allow us to hit one button. Haydinville ID# 31601198 Great idea, in fact it would be better if we could set a default collection time 3, 30, 2hr, 10hr - so every time we shake FUJI, the default would be set. I am a Mayor, not a commen town labor kind of guy ;D

You know what’s high on my wishlist lately? I wish there were different pavers available besides just the plain black top road. There should be at least 4-5 different pavers to choose from. They could be used to make custom drive ways, a plaza, cobblestone streets in an old part of downtown, town squares, sidewalks, platforms, trim for flower beds, etc etc. This seems an easy addition for Booyah and is needed at this point since customizing your town is the primary past time for so many players.
I know several members have requested footpaths for pedestrians but I’m thinking of different types of tiles like: Brick colored cobblestones, a pebble pattern, a gray square stone pattern, something beige colored like sandstone. You get the drift.
Booyah –I hope you read this!

it would be cool to have a STATS page to keep track of the visitors to our town. Who visited? when they visited? How long was the stay? where are they from? what gift, if any did they leave? --have a direct link to their towns for later visits, so we can return the favor --have a comment box for them to leave comments on for our town wishful thinking

How about Godzilla? Have her (Godzilla is female right?) running around town. I think that was be awesome. Well don't use the name as that would be a copyright violation but a giant dinosaur. Lol

Some means of connecting my Friends on My Town to this community. I have friends on there that don't use this so we never get to meet...

There are awesome ideas. Really. Booyah should be paying this group a consultant fee. (In bucks, coin or population please.)
It occurred to me as I really physically visited the Dunkin Donuts franchise that I put in My Town, that you ought to get a buck - up to once a day - for actually physically visiting the business. This helps balance the popularity ratings a bit. They have the location setting capacity and the businesses would see the value in it, too. That gives Booyah a little more advertising revenue from businesses, and lets me feel good about patronizing the businesses that are in My (sic) Town2
The other thing I would like is both ability to get more accurate names for some of the businesses (whose addresses are listed in stats), and perhaps a bit less conventional maybe a limited number of fictional businesses that you could create from scratch.

Good ideas here people. Let's keep this game interesting, fun and a little challenging.
I agree, 5 gifts per day is too low. Booyah could use a social rating system where the more social you are the more gifts you get to hand out:
i.e. Visiting other towns earns you 'social credits', social credits accumulate to put you at different social levels and higher social levels allow you more gifts to hand out e.g. Level 1 = 5 gifts, Level 2 = 10, Level 3 = 14, Level 4 = 17, etc or the number of gifts goes up proportionately 5, 10, 15, 20, etc however the gap between each 'social level' gets progressively more. It should peter out eventually so that it doesn't get ridiculous.

Here are just a few more to add: The ability to see who you franchised a business from under "Stats"- maybe you don't want to add them to your friends but you want the ability to throw them a random gift sometime Reaching level 50: a free wonder- I would suggest Mt Fuji as when you reach level 50 you probably have the entire town consumed by businesses and housing and would benefit most from "the shake"

I played Citystory for a while and they had a very interesting social aspect... Let me try to remember it right.. You click social and theres a list of cities. All are rated 1-5 stars and you can see their names and levels. So you visit a city, and you are allowed 5 buckets of soapy water to clean their buildings. Each city you visit allows you 5 buckets/day, but there isnt a limit to how many cities you can visit to clean. So how much you clean is what determines your city's star level. For ex... Clean a city with 5 buckets--1 star. Clean 3 cities, 2 star. Clean 10 cities, 3 star, etc. so people who show up as 5 stars are mega helpers. After cleaning a city, you can leave a message on their town's board.."nice town", "cyc", "ntc" (cleaned your city/nothing to clean) Hold on, nothing to clean? Thats right, if someone only has 6 buildings in their town and too many people clean, all the buildings show up as cleaned (they have a little sparkle icon) so the city's owner needs to 'harvest' their cleaned buildings and each gives like 10coins or smething small. Nithing game changing, just a really nice way to encourage comraderie, visiting. In the game they had flowerbeds of every colour so i made most of my city into a giant rainbow then spelled PRIDE under it, i got a LOT of shout outs and compliments for that on my board now, of course, your rating diminished over time, i think to maintain it you needed to clean something like 10 cities a day, which could be a challenge if no mayors had any buildings to clean (harvest your damn buildings!) Eventually that actually became my only reason to play, seeing towns and cleaning and maintaining my 5 star status. I was maybe 5 levels from cap, and the reason i stopped playing (and citystory failed to me) was because at endgame content, you could only make about 20,000 coins a day or something stupidly small (using the 'factory' method similar to mt2 of doing 'jobs') and the buildings jumped from like 10k to the best buildings at 5mil. So the only people who had those were jailbreakers or people like me who played religiously for a month to afford one tower to increase my pop, then had to do it all again just to buy another -_-' i deleted it months ago. Anyways, hopefully Booyah can learn from others' success and failures!

Sorry for the double post but I want to keep both my ideas seperate,,
I have something to add to the MASTERWISHLIST. I am currently redecorating my town and i cannot help but notice how we are missing one key feature in our decorations menu (i mean OTHER than not having water tiles)
....Ahem.......HEDGE CORNERS OMG WHERE ARE RIGHT AND LEFT HEDGE CORNERS AND ALL THE OTHER HEDGE CORNERS FOR THE LARGE HEDGE DONT YOU UNDERSTAND WE WANT TO ENCLOSE THINGS IN HEDGES OR MAKE MAZES OR EVEN A HEDGE FIELD OR A HEDGE CITY OR HEDGE LANES BUT I CANT MAKE THEM TURN CORNERS WITHOUT THEM LOOKING TOTALLY GHETTO AND UNPROFESSIONAL YOU EVEN HAVE A DRAGONITE TOPIARY FOR ME TO PLOP IN MY CITYWIDE MAZE BUT IT DOESNT MATTER BECAUSE IT ISNT MUCH OF A MAZE WITHOUT CORNERS IF THE CITIZENS OF MYTOWN2 CAN BUILD THESE SPACESHIPPY SKYSCRAPERS AND HAVE THE TECHNOLOGY TO COMPLETELY CHANGE THE LOOK OF A BUSINESS INSTANTLY YOUD THINK THEY COULD BE SMART ENOUGH TO KNOW HOW TO GROW A SIMPLE LEFT RIGHT OR BACK CORNER HEDGE AND DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE LARGE HEDGES THERE ISNT ANY POINT IN THE FLIPPING DECORATION ICON WHEN IT ONLY MIRRORS THE HEDGE CORNER AND DOESNT MAKE IT ROTATE AND NOW IM GONNA END THIS RUN ON PARAGRAPH WITH A PERIOD OUT OF RAGE.
/endrant ^_^

I have an idea regarding the spin to win.
Firstly, (using "x" as xp)
Xxx xxx xxx currently gives us 450xp
I think prizes should also be given for matching symbols regardless of the number of symbols, for a lesser prize of course.
Ie. xxx xxx xx could give us 300xp, etc etc.
Also Id like to suggest that a population increase should be a prize, using "p" as population for example.....
Ppp ppp pop = 1500 population increase Pp pp pp = 1000 population increase P p p = 500 population increase
Or a combination like I suggested earlier in this post to win, albeit lesser a prize.
You could also add a super population increase of say 10000 people.
Just a thought!
I also would like to add that, along with others, there does need to be a land expansion, weather changes, night and day, bridges, tunnels, water (lakes rivers), also sand so one could make a beach (like Miami If you liked lol), and various other terrains, hills, ditches. Sidewalks would be nice, even if these were to already be attached to the road! Cobbled streets, the list goes on!
Terraced housing, or the ability to terrace houses, or make them semi detached would be nice!

This wish list board has been quieted by the release of the spring items. Has there been any response or is the "big April update" going to be everything we've asked for?! Thanks

Now that we have Mt. Fuji as a tool to collect all job and rent revenue with a single shake, I'd like to suggest a new Wonder with a popup menu showing our assigned job times (whatever they may be), that allows the Mayor to select one job time and all businesses are begun simultaneously. This would be in addition to how jobs are currently set up, which is individually.
Suggestion: The new Wonder can take the form of a clock tower, or a factory with smoke stacks (with real smoke), or a rotating sun and moon dial, a giant coo coo clock, or something Disneyland's It's a Small World castle with rotating figures and a clock, or a railroad handcar with people pushing up and down.

I would like all houses (or maybe all buildings) to have at least one person or vehicle to roam the streets. Don't really care what they are, but more cars and people would be interesting.

i really hope our "big april update" is more than just the new levels. the levels are cool and give us something to play for. but i'm really hoping for more than that.
