I see someone already mentioned it, but I want to second the train tracks. That would be SO cute. If we could place it like the road, and the train would appear and go around it like the cars do...e.e A train station community building would be great too; preferably upgradeable for those who want old fashioned, those who want industrial, and those who want a modern look.  |

I'm sure many of these have been mentioned before but I'm going to post my personal wish list as I feel it summarizes a lot of what we want as devout MT2 players. My top ten are:
10. More storage
Not a necessity but would be convenient. My storage is full and we need more storage if we do not receive more land.
9. Higher business number limit
My town's population is hovering around 4.7 million. I reached the limit of 36 businesses long ago. I only have 19 businesses placed though due to lack of land area. (The preview screenshots of the app in the App Store reflect an updated, unreleased version of the game which include a higher limit. No word on when we get this update though.)
8. More wonders
There's unreleased wonders that can be found if you hack the game. These should be released as well as newer ones that can yield interesting new power-ups.
7. Weather
Rain, snow, wind, and maybe even natural disasters could be interesting. Not really a priority though.
6. Better camera angles
I wish you could rotate the entire view of the town (in a static way of course as this is not a 3-D rendered game). I also would like to see a "Skyline" view of the city so you can see what your city would look like from a distance at a human, less-godlike point-of-view. This feature wouldn't be used for gameplay but would be fun to have as something to view in the "Stats" section.
5. More business skins
There's a lot of choices already, especially for the newbies. However, after playing for a while, they grow boring and the older designs are poorer quality graphics. More skins are needed especially for offices as I am trying my best to create a metropolis skyline with limited choices in skyscrapers. (The preview screenshots of the app in the App Store reflect an updated, unreleased version of the game which include a new brick skyscraper and a Transamerica Pyramid replica. No word on when we get this update though.)
4. Transportation improvements
The recent addition of the transit center was nice, but it still doesn't cut it for me. I would love to see availability of different styles of roads like boulevards and freeways. I've done my best to create them using the existing road tool but its hard to get the same effect. Also, if we could lay train tracks in our own pattern like we do with roads. Would also love a better scale airport as the airport business skin is dinky for an airport.
3. Night mode
Lots of cities' skylines look even more breathtaking at night. I want to see my skyscrapers in my town lit up at night and the streetlights casting a glow over the roads.
2. Water tool
Most large cities since the beginning of humanity have been located on major waterways. New York City is on the Hudson, Washington D.C. on the Potomac, London on the Thames, etc... I would like to have my town on at least a large lake or have a river flowing through it. Even better would be having the ability to make it a coastal city with large plots of water that can be connected to simulate an ocean and leading to plots that are half water, half sand to simulate beaches. The Koi pond isn't doing it for me. I love water and landscapes aren't the same without them.
1. More land
The most sought after element of the game. How are we supposed to show off all the pretty items that we've collected and worked hard for over time all at once if there's no more room? Storage is nice but other players visiting your town don't see items in your storage. Many of my storage items are high end items that I would love to show off but cannot. We need more land!

Storage is now upgradable to hold 50 items, yes that's 50 items!
However, it will cost you 50 bucks per 5 spaces!
So if you already have the 20 spaces, it will cost another 300 bucks for the lot!
