Hi everyone! A game called pixel people came out a few days ago. It is free to play and I think you guys should defiantly check it out. It is similar to mytown with buildings and decorations but in this game you splice different types of clones to make new clones to populate your city. I have not been able to put it down!

I'm trying this game and seem to be stuck with 3 "Always a clone" in the receiving area.

This game has proved to be a good "filler" for Hay Day. I've got over 100 of the 155 clones made into workers for the city. It is not a difficult game for an adult. If I had a young child around, say about 10 years old, I would encourage him or her to play it. There is some management of resources required.
Space is the big problem. One has to earn money to buy more space at 10 plots per purchase. The cost goes up, though they reduced it a little. I'm looking at over 8 million coins for my next purchase. At the rate I play, that will take around 4 days.
Clones get made into "people" who need a place to live. So housing must be built ahead of cloning. It is important to start housing that takes as little land space as possible. The options for this increase as you level up.
Energy runs out quickly and is restored by being in the game and clicking on the lightning icons. Since I don't play often, my buildings stop earning money. It would be tedious to stay in the game just to do this, but would be effective in earning.
A feature involves a heart appearing over a building. When clicked on, the building opens and another heart must be depressed until another heart grows, about 5 seconds. When 10 of these have been done, a "Special" bonus appears. The bonus is usually an animal that I've never seen after acquiring it. Sometimes, the bonus is money. This feature is not appealing to me or likely other adults. But, I think a child might enjoy it.
The other resource to manage is the Utopium. Like gems in other games, it is rare to be earned. One must resist speeding things up, so that Utopium can be used in buying land and residences. A mine becomes available early on and is good for at least one Utopium a day, but must be clicked on to find it.
It would be possible to build other buildings than residences as the game has progressed, but land is so scarce, I have not done this. There is a land used/available counter in the lower right of the screen to help you know where you are. I have not run out of land, but just had to build a 4 plot Circus and have only 5 plots left until I can buy the next 10 for 8 M.
Cloning is a matter of selecting one of the occupations in the left column and going through available occupations in the right column until the game signals a match. It tells you how much land will be required (for a new business) before you start the cloning process. I think my problem early in the game was that I had not selected an occupation in the left column. I had selected an occupational class, but had not clicked on an occupation. Sometimes, the match is made by cloning an occupation to itself.
The people that come out of the cloning process are clunky in appearance, but the city is rather appealing despite the pixel look. This is one game I've played with no real money spent.
Unlike Sim City, you do not have to build roads. I did a few, but now that land is scarce, I don't bother. There are some tree plots that produce money and an occasional Utopium.

I have cloned all 155 possibilities, but it has proved anticlimatic. They gave me another to clone, and I don't know if I am supposed to make the same clone for a job that can exist in 2 businesses. Getting more land is a real issue. It will take 46 million coins to get the next 10 plots to expand. I don't know if I am going to go on with this. But, I did enjoy it up to this point.
