Any Walking Dead fans around? Someone told me about it (good) - was hoping to DVR it when it comes back on reruns. Waiting for Revolution to start back - not sure when that will be. Those apocalyptic themes scare yet intrigue me. Occasionally they will run marathons. Good way to catch up. I never thought I would watch an apocalyptic zombie series, but this has tuned into one of my favorite shows. My younger son and I watched some of the Revolution series. Then during Hurricane Sandy we lost power for 8 days and, he actually thought we were in an apocalypse.  So we put that one on the back burner for awhile. |

I have been watching Revolution - enjoying it! I love all the apocalyptic movies/books/series!! Lol

Currently on Season 3. I think you can stream on Netflix now as well. If you go to catch up, make sure you start at the first season. It was one of the best. |

It is a funny book, the master and margarita. Absolutely hilarious, but deadly serious at the same time. There is a six foot tall cat in it who creates all kinds of havoc. There's been at least three movies of it and a couple of operas too.

For current shows I've enjoyed the three seasons of Downton Abbey. I'm a bit of a history buff and the British Monarchy and aristocratic families favor well on the list. This goes right with American history and my enjoyment of American ephemeral films. As a little project I do for the enjoyment of the subject matter and to learn how to code better (I write all my code, I don't use any program) I'm setting up some sites for different categories of ephemeral films. I want to learn how to add a discussion feature so people can add keywords and/or tag the different things in the films so later generations can search to find what something was/looked like/did/etc. I don't make any money and I don't have ads so I don't think I'm spamming by giving the URL coronetinstructionalfilms.com. If someone can steer me to some open source code for adding the keyword adding by registered users, I would be very grateful for the information. Building my town and doing blitzing are not my only interests! |

Just watched season one of Downton Abbey this week too! Enjoyed it! Thought it was well done!

I only saw one member who mentioned The Newsroom on HBO. I loved this show and am so looking forward to Season 2! The new season starts in June and you have to watch the first season, in order to really get the show. The characters were great and the story lines were new and current. I hope they don't change it too much!

Just started watching Downtown Abbey. I am in the middle of Season 2 and loving it!  @catinex- I watched the first episode of The Newsroom when it came out because HBO ran a free episode on our On Demand library. I really enjoyed it, but didn't have HBO at the time. We now have HBO, so maybe I will give it a try. |
