I heard that when I franchise other business, the other will receive bucks, what does it work? I have lot of coins now but have only 92 bucks.
Also, when I franchise others, the popularity that I can franchise is being dropped significantly. For example, I see the building is at 140000 something popularity but for that one I can get is only 19000 popularity. How can I get closed to original one? I also read other post that when I click the franchise fast enough I can get closed to original popularity, but it never works for me, even less that 0.1 second....

The high pop trick works. U just have to be super quick. Tap on the price immediately after tapping on the handshake bubble. Anything less then a micro second and u'll get the lower pop. If it doesn't work, exit the town, go back in and try again. It's tough at first but the more u do it, the easier it gets.

There was a period of time where there was a good delay and it was pretty easy to do. The last few days have been lightning fast and I haven't been able to do it. I'm thinking it may be when the servers are busy and slowing down that it is easier to do. Just keep trying and when you find a day with a good delay grab all that you can. |

They key is tap the franchise balloon and immediately put your fingertip where the Franchise/Money button will pop up... Then tap as quick as possible.. kechibam is right - you gotta be quick - and you may have to exit and go back in... Its frustrating that we have to do this to get our population that we want!  |

the more I read here about this game the more confused I get at times LOL ... so at least now I understand what is going on in this thread but not sure if I have the nimble fingers to pull it off -
I seem to have tons of low popularity ones sooo does this mean I need to start selling them off and getting others (I am really quite fond of some of mine)

There is a good delay going on right now. Get it while you can. Yesterday there was no delay at all. Yes it's back! It kinda hurts having to delete my low pop level 6 businesses and start from scratch but it's keeping me busy. Sure beats waiting around for land and having nothing to do ok so i tried something new today. i wanted to franchise a couple more high pop biz but did not a get a lag at all. it went straight to low pop every single time. i was using my wifi network...however, when i turned it off and used my 3G connection, the lag was back. i then turned off 3G and went back to wifi and the lag was gone. i was able to replicate this multiple times. so it looks like it's the network speed ur using. if u want the lag to be there, use 3G..not wifi. |

The ninja quick tapping worked, with a caveat! I was able to franchise Mixer Bar at 2.4 mil popularity. I almost put it on a shrine, I was so proud of it. HOWEVER, the next time I checked about 15 min later it had reverted back to the market popularity of 33,000!! I thought maybe it got hit by the popularity monster and waited a couple days. It never got back to its original purchase popularity :'-( Disgusted, I decided to sell it. The refund I was offered was 25% of the original purchase price of 2.4 million, and NOT the paltry 33,000. Somehow the game remembers how much I paid for it, and refunded percentage the original purchase price, but would not acknowledge the high popularity. Chew on that for a bit!!

I just tried the quick tapping method again. it worked and I got the business for the original popularity. But, the same thing happened again. The popularity dropped back to the market popularity after I exited and reentered the game.
One trick that may work, but I personally cannot try it because I don't have unlimited bucks is the following. Go to the friends town that you like the business. Before clicking on franchising the business, shut off the Wi-Fi and 3G. When you click on the particular business the value will remain, but since the game doesn't know where your location is, the cost will always be in bucks. The value does not revert back to market value and you have as long as you want. Whether once you place the business in your town the value will revert to the market value I don't know. Those with unlimited bucks may want to try this trick.

Alright all you MyTown2 players out there! I have a treat for all of you! Recently Beautropolis has been franchising my businesses for big bucks (thank you again Beaut!) and I saw her MONSTER businesses. And hey I thought...could I get those somehow? So that led me to several hours of testing different hypothesis I made. And at the end of it I was able to franchise 2 businesses of hers that add up to 7.9mil popularity! IMPOSSIBLE?!? Right? That's what you are thinking right? Well so was I until I was able to do so! So without further ado HERE I GO!!! STEP 1! FIND THAT HUGE BUSINESS STEP 2! GET TO THAT PERSONS TOWN AND STOP RIGHT HERE! STEP 3! EXIT OUT OF MYTOWN2 AND GO TO SETTINGS. SEE THAT WIFI? YEA TURN IT OFF!!! STEP4! ENTER MYTOWN2 AGAIN! IF DONE RIGHT YOU SHOULD STILL BE IN THAT PERSON'S TOWN! STEP 5! FIND THAT HUGE ASS POPULARITY BUSINESS AGAIN AND TAKE IT!!! STEP 6! PROFIT PROFIT AND MORE PROFIT!!! So...simple right? I already tested this with many many businesses and it's working so far! Take this opportunity to make your businesses HUGE! ...and if you could please franchise either mine or Beautropolis's first ;D ALSO SCREENSHOTS WOOO!!!   |

Yes you are right Adrian this does work and you're instructions are probably the most concise and clear instruction on this topic. It was discussed in detail under Franchise Discussion in the Tips/Hints category, but we were kind of figuring it out as a group and it wasn't written down as a set of instructions like you have. One thing you have to be careful of is that these hi pop businesses can revert back to their "real" popularity without any warning. From what I've read, there is a second variable in the code that can get triggered for unknown reasons and then you go back to the "market value". I've got several hi pop businesses that have stayed artificially high for about 6 weeks now, and I have had several that crash within a day of buying them.

That's why I also had a few friends of mine do the same as I did and we'll be watching the popularity those businesses they have like a hawk. Granted atm with stacking Im already at the point where I don't have anything really huge I want to buy so testing these things out gives me something to do with all that gold lol.

I know I am kinda slow, but I tried this and the business I want, quick, can still only be purchased in bucks. I have changed my location once, to new York, and do not know how to change it again. I don't know how to delete my game but save the data. Oh well. Would love to have Paris businesses.
