One day, a stranger came knocking at the doors of city hall in the sprawling metropolis of Barracuda Bay.
The mayor was busy in his office inspecting the city's treasury and mumbling to himself when a strange man in a top hat and fancy suit barged in and dropped a package on his desk.
The mayor was understandably flustered at this intrusion. "What's this? You can't just come in here unannounced! Do you have an appointment? Did my secreta...?
The stranger put a finger to his lips as if to shush the mayor's tirade and spoke quietly: "Now, listen here, Mr. Mayor. I don't want to raise a whole commotion. I have brought a gift for you, and there's more where it came from. Come now, open it."
The mayor looked dazed and skeptical but did as he was told. Inside the box was an untold sum of green bucks. The mayor looked up, shocked, but the stranger was gone.
Upon closer inspection, a note was found within. It said, in the regal penmanship of a noble's hand:
"Your town has done gone quite well for itself, but some of your neighbors could do with some prosperity. Pay it forward, Mr. Mayor."
"Pay it forward, eh?," thought the Mayor. "What a grand idea!"
And so the Mayor of Barracuda Bay wrote to many neighboring towns and sent in unannounced donations. A flyer was drawn up and E-mailed immediately to towns all over the country, reading as such:
To any town or city that desires financial aid, kindly send a population gift to the Mayor's office or leave it at any town business. We will not be able to respond every day, but we will do our best to accomodate.
The Mayor smiled, satisfied, as he sent the notice out. He hoped the stranger would be satisfied, but in any event, it gladdened his heart to know that the greater community at large would get the help they needed.

Hello to all the Mayors.
I just had to tell a story about this mysterious Robin Hood.
One night while I was busy playing on my Dalaran town, I saw a really strange flickering light coming from the bookshelf. I got up off my comfortable chair and walked to the bookshelf. I had remembered that I put the little ol iPod there for a while, since it got replaced by a newer one.
This little ol iPod was playing by itself! I swear! I saw upon it a My Town 2 game, and I watched it prepare the town for its people. It was doing all these AMAZING things and then the game was closed.
After 5 minutes of staring at it, I had to pick it up to take a closer look at the town, and I felt this wonderful feeling that I really had to share the feeling to all the other mayors. So I started working on visiting various towns and their mayors, and I tried so hard to keep up with the many many visits to various towns, but alas, there is not enough time to do them all each day.
I have decided to let all you mayors know that the town of Do Not Gift Me Plz belongs to me, as well as Dalaran.
I will try to keep giving as much as I can, unfortunately I can only do so many per day, and will try to get all of your towns if I have the time.

I figured by the big military base that you had a place in your heart for servicemen and women and I really appreciated that.
