My wife has planned a great Father's Day weekend for myself and our two little girls. I can't wait to spend a relaxing day with the family. Happy Father's Day to all Dads out there reading this and enjoy your day!

Truly a lovely thread, moved by everyone's words and quotes... Know I'm lucky to have my wonderful father with me, healthy and happy. Lost an uncle this year, still mourn for him and ache for his immediate family. Cherish every moment, every memory.

I am very proud to be a father. This is my first fathers day spending it with my wife (BooSplats) and my daughter (20 month old). It's always fun franchising and playing with the daughter at the same time. It's even better when she watches me while I franchise.

Today was a rather heart warming day. I spent the day with my dad of course, and when I gave him his gifts, he read the card I gave him and started tearing up. I was startled; it was a reaction I had not anticipated. It was as if sometimes I'm surprised that anything I do could affect him that way... Very humbling.
Point is, sometimes the love from this man can be so overwhelming - he's an incredible father and incredible man, everyone loves him, and he's one of the nicest people you'd ever want to meet. For 45 years now he's raised me to be what I am today, and I hope and pray that I've turned out to be at least some semblance of what he is. I'm telling you, he is - and always has been - one fantastic pop!
Also, to all the dads in this forum: happy fathers day! I hope you've had, and are having, a great one!
