I have been away for a few days and I see that the franchising has really slowed down quite a bit. Please if you are low on money do not franchise. BB proved that a few determined people could affect the popularity of a business and with all of your effort it rose to the #2 spot!! That is a really huge accomplishment and everyone involved deserves a BIG round of applause.
I do not want to be a downer but I do not see anyway that we can take over the #1 spot from Quick. I did not start this event and I do not want to speak for BB but as some of you are low on money and I personally do not feel we can reach the top goal I am going to remove NY NY from my town. If you do wish to continue please franchise from each other and spread the wealth around a little bit. It was a good run and for me I think it is time to enjoy the next event.
I also want to say that some of you may not have recieved franchises from me for your efforts. I do apologise and just recently found out that the way I have been franchising the past few days is not awarding the 50 bucks for the franchise. I am sorry about that and if you PM me and let me know how many days you franchised over the weekend I will gladly send some franchises your way.

My curiosity now is where the pop is going to stop sliding downward and stabilize. Over the past week, the pop has been dropping gradually and very steadily at around 7k or so per day. I have the numbers of each of my franchises over the course of each day - just like the ones I posted in the Phase 1 thread. Saturday evening did see a slight slowdown in the drop, but not much, it seems. I never observed any upward turns. (that doesn't mean they didn't happen, I just never observed any). I'm not privy to the amount of activity that took place, but if you look at the baseline numbers one thing's apparent: no matter what activity took place at any given time, it had very little to no affect on the consistent overall popularity drop. Yesterday, or the day before, it did seem like the pop began to fall a bit faster. I can't look at it to see where it stands right now because I'm at work, but if nyny sees little to no franchising today, I suspect we'll see the pop sink even further, perhaps like a stone but I don't want to be too negative. Hopefully I'm wrong! so... what now? |

Well, shoot! It's down to about 26K today. That's a far cry from the high of about 80K.
Not having the "marketing" back up from Booyah is hurting. By that, I mean it's not listed on the "Business Search" option or even the regular location search for Las Vegas. That keeps it from getting widespread participation. Just my theory on it.

I have received a few PM's from people letting me know they had participated. Please don't be shy and not get rewarded for your efforts in the endeavor. I have more bucks then time but hey that is what being a RH is all about. So belly up to the bar and have a franchise on me. So if anyone feels left out please contact me either through this thread or a PM. It is not my place to close this event and frankly I wouldn't know how to do that if I wanted to. However, I would like for it to remain open through the weekend so that everyone has a chance to read through this thread in order to contact me about franchises. After that time, if BB does not respond, I will ask one of the MOD's to close this thread and we can begin looking forward to the next great event.
